This location gives dickeys a bad name. My wife went in for a family size serving for green beans side for family night dinner. First they switched to paper bag which leaked in our car. But got home and when the juice was drained the pan was 90% juice! It was a serving size for 2! Called to see if we can get more for the 30$ family size purchase. yes 30$ for green beans! See pic for details. But went in after the phone call since he said no extra beans but will refund. But didnt tell me I had to bring back the beans! He started to be rude after I said I just want refund and showed me the use to be sizes even tho I live down the street and been in many times before ownership changed. I asked for owner/franchise contact but he declared he is all listed. At the end we ended up leaving to prevent further argument rising. Now my wife and family is sad we cant really enjoy our green beans with our meal we loved their green beans. But this is our last time going to this location. I will go the extra miles to the flowermound location for the better service. But now everytime I hear dickeys I will think about this poor customer service interaction. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION!!!

Saw the new sign that they were open so I went there on my lunch break ordered a sandwich and okra. My brisket was full and my bread was full of grease. My okra was hot on the outside in the fryer but frozen on the inside because it was frozen, the drive-through window I was charged $15.30 minutes at the window for this awful food. I do not recommend this to anybody. It ll be your worst nightmare.

This business is definitely on its way out. The portions are half what they used to be and the cost is 1.5-2Xs as much as it used to be. The quality of the food is very subpar. The sodas had no carbonation and didn t come in the big yellow cups they were supposed to, just plain white foam cups. And the restaurant on the inside was a ghost town. Will not be returning here again, should have just gone to Soulman s BBQ on main st!

This place is awful! I waited 40 min for my food and I was the only one there and no one went thru the drive thru. As I m driving away I realize they forgot some of the order! And then when we all are finally sitting down and eating the cold food nothing tastes good. The sausage is very greasy, the sliced beef is tasteless, and you think you can dip it in the bbq for some flavor, but the sauce is so thin almost watered down. The cole slaw was just sliced cabbage with no sauce. I won t be going back.

This is ridiculous. I am tired of coming to this place to get horrible, dry, week old food and get treated so poorly i used to come to this exact place all the time but it seems like they got new workers and everything went down hill . I got the Mac and cheese brisket and fries and the meat was dry and cut weird the Mac and cheese was dry and flavorless and the fry s I watched the man cook in a fryer that was filthy and looked like the oil had never been cleaned once .not only was there line filthy so we re the tables and bathroom it literally looks like no one cleans which is disgusting. the guy who was serving me was very rude and disrespectful he messed up my order like 5 times I had to keep correcting him and when I did he would roll his eyes and mumble something under his breath.the way he acted was not professional at all and I m disappointed in this restaurant. Arrived at 8:20PM (mind you the employees watched me park) and the sign on the door said that the drive thru was open until 9PM. I got back in my car to enter the drive thru and sat there for 5 minutes and no one answered. I leave the drive thru to park and call them. When she answered I let her know that I was in the drive thru, but they didn t answer. She proceeds to say oh yeah we closed early and then took the sign down from the door. 10-15 mins early okay, but 40 minutes? Let s be serious.

WoW! $16 dollars for 1 meat plate now (no drink) I remember just last year you could get it for around $12 +tx. Something up with this places AC. Was really hot when I sat down to eat...almost took my food back to my car for REAL COLD AC. The okra tasted a little funny, like they need to swap the grease out. Other than that was ok service. Just be prepared to pay A LOT more now for just a 1 meat plate.

My wife ordered some food for my family and the food was just thrown into the boxes and stuff leaked out of the containers. We ordered the big yellow cups and they gave us some cheap styrofoam saying that they haven t had any for months . If you haven t had any then stop offering it and charge a reasonable price for drinks not $4.25. Now that I ve been throughly robbed for mediocre BBQ. I m never going back.

STINGIEST DICKEY S ON THE PLANET! I drove 5 miles to visit this location for the first time. My brisket sandwich was smaller than a McDonald s cheeseburger with skimpy amounts of meat was 1 thin layer. I received a quarter of the bag of waffle fries and literally half 1 little container of sauce, not enough for the few fries or the small amount of meat. Took me 1 minute to finish my meal and I don t eat much. Paid $10.28 and I m still hungry!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

First, I want to say working with Greg the owner was a great experience. He really made accommodations and went above and beyond. Professional, prompt, kind, followed through with the best service. We had Greg cator my daughters wedding. Food was hot, delicious and more than enough food. I had so much left over to share the next day with my family. Had everything we needed. Fathers Day my husband wanted barbecue while we were out so I stopped in thru the drive thru. The person working the widow was nice. But the quality of the food and the tea were not. Worth the price at all. I was so mad I made this choice for my husband for fathers day... The tea was basically water and the sandwiches had hardly any meat on them . I attempted to go through the drive-thru at Dickeys in Lewisville this evening. Nobody ever came to take my order even though they claimed the speaker was working. I waited for a long time and then someone else pulled in behind me. They never took her order either. I went inside and they had one customer and seemed to have no interest in taking my order or wanting any business. This is my second and last time to try picking up food from Dickeys. I had the same experience last month and decided to give them one last try. I drove-thru Burger King and received much better service from the teenagers working there. I guess Dickeys doesnt want or need new business. Sad!

I stopped by this dickeys at around 5:30-6pm on 12-29-19. The girl and the guy working were nice, but the girl handled buns with her bare hands, there was a barbecue sauce cup dropped in the green beans, yet she still served the green beans, and proceeded to use the same spoon for the green beans to serve cole slaw. After we ordered and were eating both employees stepped out to smoke, when they got back in the girl was on her phone watching videos at the register and had still yet to wash her hands when we left. I have a food safety managers certificate, these are a lot of violations in a short period of time from one employee.

Great food! Very friendly people except for one employee. This location advertises Deals of the Day on their website with Sundays deal as pick a day. I went this evening to get dinner and was told the new owner is not honoring the advertised special. This employee yelled that she told me this before. Wrong! She told me they courld no longer interchange the daily deals. My husband called and was told by the same employee she didnt have time for us and all we did is order the specials and get free ice cream. We already bought dinner there once this week. We like BBQ and usually pick up dinner at this location 1,2,or sometimes 3 times a week. No longer! She was rude and insulting. We have been customers for years longer than shes worked there. There is no excuse for this behavior.

I read all the reviews in front, but I ve got to tell you this place now is on top of it. Pulled pork was some of the best I ve eaten, and I cook my own. Brisket was tender and not dried out. Edit 1/20/19: I received a message from the new management at this Dickey s to come and try them again. We did today and much had improved but still a little work to do. The service was much improved. My wife said the turkey and macaroni & cheese were better than the flower Mound location. The baked potatoes weren t ready when we came in and the ice cream machine was broken so that s twice we didn t get ice cream. However, we were offered cookies as a consolation so that shows they care about their customers. I sincerely hope they keep improving. Original review: There are two people working on Mother s Day. The ice cream machine wasn t turned on. No real silverware. The meat is weighed on the plate. Regular bbq sauce was nearly empty. We seriously considered walking out before ordering because the wait was so long. This Dickey s is nothing like any other Dickey s we ve ever eaten at. There is a normal Dickey s in Flower Mound.

Go to the one on 2499. This one is awful. They cut corners wherever they can to save money but seem to be too foolish to understand it is costing them customers. And if you have to go here check your order thoroughly before leaving. They never include toppings or sauces. The portions for your sides are about 1/3 of what they should be and are at all other Dickey s. The food is always either cold and soggy, or hard because it was sitting under heat lamps for days. You never know which. Last time coming to this place.

We walked in and were pleasantly greeted. Then it went down hill. Fryer was down, so we couldnt choose from all of the sides on the menu. Sausage, brisket, & bbq beans were good (not great). But the cole slaw was not very good. The fresh brewed tea looked like water & didnt taste like much. The condiment kiosk barely had any pickles in the container, the onions werent very fresh & there werent many of those either. The one man show employee was very nice and personable. All this for premium BBQ prices. Two stars was a little generous.

This place is really bad. The selection of food is not anything like other Dickeys restaurants. We had to ask for silverware we had to ask for paper towels we had to ask for barbecue sauce. When we were there there was not one other person other than the guy that was cutting up the meat. We ate there about 4 in the afternoon & the food was not good! The brisket and pulled pork was tough, cold and full of fat. The side dishes seem like they had been left over from the day before. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone

I pulled in the drive thru there was 1 car placed my order and waited and waited while I seen people that came getting there order I finally get 2lbs chopped beef they put in my bag 3 of the small cups of sauce these cups were the of 1 ounce I asked for more sauce he hands me 3 more this is 2lbs chopped I was told he was busy the other guy could get me a bigger cup of sauce. So very disappointed the way I was treated.

I have eaten here a few times but never been impressed. Tonight the service was extra slow-about 30 mins for a to-go order and I was the only customer. The sandwich buns and dinner rolls were stale. I purchased a kids meal and left without the drink because the drinks in the fountain had not been refilled. The food was tasty though. I gave this location 3 stars because I have had an ok experience on other visits. There are better options in town for BBQ.

Well we just moved to Highland Village, and we were hoping this location would be good. We have been loyal dickies customers in Garland and Dallas for many years, but this location was the worst dickies by far that I have ever been in. The service was super slow even though we were the only customers there. We took the food to go. We get home and the portions were just tiny!!! About half of what we got at other locations. The ribs we ordered were burnt with about two bites of meat on them. I played $13 for two pieces of bone!!! Absolutely disappointed with this dickies. I guess we will have to find a different option for bbq in our new neighborhood.

This is my favorite Dickies location. Ive been to several locations (coppell, Fmound, south Lewisville, etc.) Everyone at this location is so nice, its clean and the food is great! My whole family cheers when I bring Dickies home. (All boys, and all over 6). Its rare I have left overs. Thank you

They were out of most of their meats and their sides but didnt tell us until we got to the window. When we got home, the salad had a half inch of water on the bottom, modified order was still wrong, pork was cold and everything was just off. Not going back ever.
