My son And I loved to go eat here even its far away from where I live because their teriyaki chicken dishes are the best in DFW ~! Super tender, very moist inside Delicious!!! And not only that all the menu they had prepared it s really healthy compared to other teriyaki restaurants! Plus the price is amazing I can order catering sometimes for small parties ! I am so glad I found this place ~ I highly recommend this restaurant ~!

We were going here pretty regularly until it shut down and reopened. Before it shut down, the food was literally fire and you could taste it. Afterward, the chicken no longer had the flame grilled flavor and was relatively dry. That said, the service did improve from before. It did take longer for the food to come out before they closed and reopened, but I prefer quality over speed.

I heard that this place is under new ownership. I tried spicy chicken teriyaki and pork katsu. The spicy chicken teriyaki was just the right spicy level and so tender! The pork katsu was thick and juicy! I am definitely coming back to try their other menus.

Great place for meal of Teriyaki. I ordered 2 plates(spicy chicken teriyaki and pork teriyaki) because Im a big size man, but I only could finish 1 plate and saved the other one for dinner. Price was only $9.99. cant find this cheap place anywhere else these days for healthy and good meal. Spice was perfect, food absoulely tasty and staff(Rachel) was super super nice and friendly. This place finally gave me my teriyaki fix. Ive been trying to find that real deal next level teriyaki most places dont bother making. This place nailed it. Im about to be eating here once a week. I had chicken and shrimp, and both were excellent. My friend says their in store menu is bigger and that their curry is crazy good. Also, he said the spicey chicken has got an actual good heat to it. Thank you so much to everyone working here. Wonderful place, wonderful food, wonderful contribution to the community. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the time and effort you put into your craft. Oh, and it works for my dietary restrictions. A lot of restaurants list teriyaki on the menu, and I know Im at least getting grilled chicken and rice, but most places dont give you anything close to the level of Teriyaki 4 U. Theres a spot I love thats not easy to get, and Ive tried close to two dozen other places trying to find a spot for really good teriyaki, and I finally found it. And the salad wasnt sad wilted lettuce. It was fresh and nice. Thanks again! Consider expanding the online menu if it becomes feasible, but either way, Ill be eating here often.

We enjoyed great authentic Teriyaki meals that reminded my wife of her time in Japan. Other restaurants that try to do Teriyaki tend to use too much wet sauce and dont know how to honor the protein. We enjoyed speaking with one of the owners that are new to this restaurant and sharing memories of Asia. My wife enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and I the spicy pork teriyaki. The meats on both dishes were moist and flavorful. We will be regular patrons of Teriyaki 4 U in the future.

Me and my brother were looking for a quick bite around Carrollton and came about this place. Boy, did this place not disappoint. The moment I saw chef wearing a dragonball z apron, I knew the food was going to fire! Chef was super knowledgeable and gave us some good suggestions. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and garlic noodles. Both were seasoned to perfection 11/10 with great portion sizes. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

I called and placed a take out order, I asked how long it will take so I know when to come pick up. The guy said it would be only 5mins. I had to wait inside and my order was ready 45minutes later, terrible service they did not even apologize for the wait until I confronted the lady about the very inaccurate wait time. The food was good but don t lie about wait times and then not acknowledge that it was a a long wait.

Food was amazing! Shuwns amazing and suuuuuper friendly. We didnt even realize that there was a promotion where we could get an entree half off and he let us know that after we ordered he could comp us the next time we eat there! Food is cooked fresh and its a complete one-man show, so there may be a little wait, but its totally worth it. He was proud to say that he makes his food in-house including the sauces. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and pork katsu. Macaroni salad is the best Ive ever had. Teriyaki Chicken was delicious and had a perfect char to it. Pork Katsu was crispy, juicy, and definitely satisfying. Portions are generous and will fill you up.

This family owned and operated restaurant was just amazing. The atmosphere and hospitality was on point. They even gave my kids juice and stickers lol Im a big guy and the portions were more then I could finish, and the rest of my family definitely got two meals out of it. The food was awesome! We ordered the teriyaki salmon & teriyaki chicken! Both were amazing! The flavor in the chicken was excellent! Also had to get me some grilled pineapple! Again.. Delicious! I moved to texas about 15 years ago and have not been able to find a teriyaki chicken that compares, but Teriyaki 4u s flavor is there! I am so happy to have found this place. Excellent food. Definitely had some items I liked better than others, but all were good. The salad with the chicken on it was amazing. The dressing is delicious. The spicy teriyaki chicken was a hit! The spice is mild. If you need a kick, get the house made Sriracha. Its amazing. The real MVP is the service! I got the pork katsu and loco moco and it was honestly a very delicious dinner. Im glad I made the choice to get food from this small business! The katsu was fried really well, rice was the right amount of chewiness, and the coleslaw had an Asian fusion taste that I enjoyed. This place was so good! I m sorry I didn t take many pictures but everything is made from scratch. The owner was working and was a really friendly and you can tell he enjoys what he does. Omgosh! This is my new favorite spot. This place has the best Loco Moko on the Maitland! I just tried the pound cake with vanilla ice cream. Had a great lunch here yesterday and saved the other half for lunch today. Chef makes all his own condiments from scratch and what a difference that makes. There is LOVE in his food. He is also an avid boy s basketball coach and pastry chef - a multi talented guy. I can t wait until he starts breakfast. I ordered Teriyaki 4 U through Uber Eats. Everything we ordered arrived just as we requested. They were out of steamed rice, but I was contacted prior to the driver leaving the store to ensure that I was ok with fried rice. I truly appreciated that gesture. My favorite dish was the Chicken Teriyaki. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was great! The fried rice was delicious. My non-vegetable eating kids tore it up even though it was full of veggies. I am not a pea lover at all, and I enjoyed mine as well. We will definitely be ordering again! Do you want some bomb Teriyaki Chicken? Me too! Saw this cool looking spot so I decided to give it a shot. Got the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken as well as the Japanese Curry and the Crab Rangoons. The chicken was excellent, very tasty and well grilled with a nice smoky flavor even before the sauce. The Japanese Curry was also great, super tender potato and carrot pieces. We need to talk about those Crab Rangoons though! Most of the time you may as well call them cream cheese Rangoons, but these had an excellent amount of Crab and were slightly spicy and delicious. The nice lady at the counter was awesome and so friendly with all of our questions. I will definitely be back and if you are reading this you should stop now and get ever there too!

The reviews that people posted made me want to check this place out based off the 4.9 rating that was on Teriyaki 4 u website. The two people (Owner/worker) were very nice. The food had no flavor at all and it felt like I was the last customer of the day based off the size chicken they gave. It was very thin pieces and looked nothing like any pictures posted. The sauce was not even helping when drizzled over the chicken/rice. The rice was your typical rice and macaroni was nothing special. I had very high hopes but honestly will not return. I didnt take a picture but now I wished I did.

Carrollton often sees new restaurants popping up, and Teriyaki 4 U is one of the latest additions I stumbled upon. It boasts eye-catching signage outside and a unique blend of bakery and magnolia farm-inspired decor inside, with a personal twist by owner Grace. The menu, though concise with around 12 items, offers tasty options. I opted for the chicken Katsu, while my friend went for the teriyaki, both reasonably priced at around $13. The main dishes come with a bed of rice and two sides; I chose macaroni and beef potstickers. There are around eight different sides to choose from, offering variety. The staff was exceptionally friendly; we even had the chance to chat with head chef Shaun, who shared his dream of becoming a master chef and how he smokes pork for eight hours, which resulted in delicious pulled pork. Grace, the owner, a Texas native of Korean descent, also came out to engage with us, discussing her evolving menu and contemplating whether to expand it according to her preferences or stick to what everyone enjoys. The chicken Katsu was tasty but not extraordinary, Id rate it a solid five out of ten. However, the homemade Katsu sauce and the entire menu being homemade (nothing bottled) are notable highlights. On the other hand, the teriyaki chicken was outstanding, easily deserving a seven out of ten. I highly recommend trying the spicy teriyaki; they provided a bottle of their homemade spicy teriyaki sauce, which added the perfect kick to the flavors. If youre an enthusiast for exploring new places and supporting local businesses, Teriyaki 4 U is definitely worth your visit. The staff is welcoming, and we felt a genuine connection with them. Supporting their dreams and aspirations is a pleasure, and its evident that Grace and Sean have poured their hearts and souls into this venture. While the menu is evolving, the star of the show was Seans strawberry barbecue sauce a must-try. Theyre also open to customizing dishes not on the menu if you call in advance, and Seans various flavored barbecue sauces are intriguing, including a peach one that Im eager to sample on my next visit. In summary, my overall experience was a solid nine out of ten. Im confident that Teriyaki 4 U has the potential to become one of Carrolltons standout startup restaurants. It might be slightly hidden, but its definitely worth trying, especially if youre conscious of your macros, as the protein portions are generous. I couldnt even finish my meal! As a Carrollton resident, Im delighted to have this restaurant in our neighborhood, and I wholeheartedly recommend paying them a visit for lunch. I was having trouble getting my credit card, tap to pay working. The very kind and generous owner came out, and said, let me try my card! He has a very kind smile, and soon I realized that he had just paid for all of my food. The food was delicious, and fresh with a very homemade tasting spicy sauce. Stopped by for lunch with my partner and mom, all the staff was super welcoming and friendly. This was our first time here and they walked us through the menu which was very appreciated by our group! We got the Crab Rangoon (which was my all time favorite from everything) and Grilled Pineapple to start. The Rangoon was crispy and flavorful, and the pineapple had great seasoning to enjoy even alone! We had the Garlic Noodle Bowl and added chicken; the bowl had crispy onions which added the perfect crunch for texture. The garlic was a great balance in the bowl, I definitely recommend this plate for anyone whether you re a fan or not of garlic! We also did the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Plate. Served with coleslaw, pasta salad, and white rice. We also got the chili oil which added the best heat to our dish! They checked on us to make sure everything tasted well and we enjoyed our meal! This place is a fusion of Hawaiian and Asian dishes. Such a great spot for lunch or dinner. It was our first time trying this place - the lady at the register was so helpful and walked us through the menu and their popular dishes. The menu is full of different items - I tried the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl with the chili oil on the side. There are several sauces you can add on to your order. The lady at the register gave us a side of sriracha on the house. The house made sriracha which was so flavorful! The food is made to order + I love the char on the chicken. I thought there would be green onions on the chicken which is what is shown on their pictures in the menu. The cabbage slaw is fresh and the Mac salad has a subtle spicy kick to it. I tried the mango green tea and is was so refreshing. They sell desserts and have their own t-shirts you can buy! They have music playing as you walk inside and the mural on the wall is a cute photo-op! Lots of seating inside, lots of parking and they are on several delivery sites too. The business is female and minority owned! Definitely going to be one of my go-to spots in Carrollton.

I had the pleasure of eating at this teriyaki restaurant and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and was blown away by the flavors and textures. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the teriyaki sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The Thai Milk Tea was amazing, will definitely be coming back soon.

Ive gone to Teriyaki 4 U a few times now and there is a lot to like. Their food is always tasty, its consistent, its quick, and the staff are always friendly. Ive tried a few things off their menu and its all very good, but Id say the crab rangoons are better than they have any right to be at the price they are.

This place is so cute and clean inside. It has an open kitchen, so you can see that they keep it clean and organized. Staff is super friendly, definitely has a neighborhood vibe. I was excited to try this place and was hoping for a great addition to the neighborhood. Disappointed spicy teriyaki was ok, small portion for the price, they do give you a lot of rice. Slaw was flavorless - maybe they forgot to put some sauce on it??? Mac salad was ok. Salmon, again small portion for the price - but lots of rice, same lackluster sides. Crab Rangoon, which the observer raves about was flavorless at best, the side sauce didn t go with it at all. The 9rabbit bakery item, apple pudding cake was very good, moist and lots of apple flavor, they don t get credit as it is made elsewhere. I would question most of these five star reviews from when they first opened, quite suspect. Wouldn t return as it s nothing special and price seems high compared to portion size. AC not working while there and a bit warm. Service was friendly.

As a regular at 9Rabbit, my partner and I wanted to try this place out after seeing the flyer. The Loco Moco was delicious! (Forgot to take a picture) Good portions & everything was well seasoned and not salty. Macaroni salad was ok for me (partner liked it) didn t expect the spicy mayo. I really enjoyed the sauce on the patty & rice. Love that the sauces are all made in house (as it should be!) Teriyaki sauce was very good with rice & leftover grilled pineapple (i like to make my own flavor combos) If you love the teas @ 9rabbit, you ll love it here, too. Clean restaurant, simple but cute decor. Pleasant atmosphere w/ chill music playing. plant is a nice lil korean touch lol! The manager, Grace, was super chill, amicable, & sweet. She s got a great attitude & is very open to customer feedback. The prices are very fair for the portions & quality. Can t wait to go back & try the other dishes!!

Loved this place! Ordered to go 15 minutes before close, and one of the owners gave me 2 free deserts! Everyone here was down to earth and exerted positivity. I got the spicy teriyaki and my fiancé got the normal teriyaki. We split the musubi and the rangoons. Everything tasted amazing and so reasonably priced! I will definitely be back to try their Loco Moco and Japanese Curry!

The spicy teriyaki sauce was the highlight of the meal. Chicken was cooked well and the portion was good sized. As a matter of personal preference, I wish there was some green onion or sesame garnish on the chicken, and a textural component (onions, carrots, celery) in the Mac salad. TLDR; Amazing food that s been upscaled at an incredibly reasonable price, in a comfortable casual restaurant, served up by very friendly people. The problem with fast casual teriyaki/Hawaiian food is it s good but not great and always leaves me with a void. This not the case with Teriyaki 4 U. The owners/chef nail the basics and then up the game with richer and more satisfying flavors in all their dishes. Whether it s the teriyaki chicken/tofu to the Japanese curry, you can tell the flavors of all the food were thoughtfully planned out and the chef executes the dishes perfectly. Been there a couple of times and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu (loco moco will be the next dish I try)! Oh, and the dessert from 9 Rabbits Bakery are amazing too!! I tried the Garlic Noodles with a side of Teriyaki Chicken. The sauce on the noodles was perfectly emulsified and velvety. I got a chance to taste test their thicker noodle which had the perfect amount of bite. The chicken had a great char while also being tender and juicy.
