Love this place! It s become our regular place, mostly because of Audy the bartender. They treat us so well, it s so cozy inside, and a great selection of wines (or cocktails etc.). It s managed really well! Don t sleep on half off bottles on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Food

My friend and I came not knowing anything about wine. The manager Ari is so knowledgeable and personable about wine. We were scared of coming not knowing how to order. The atmosphere is so cozy and the music was great. We are definitely coming back.

I wanted to go to a nice wine bar with my my coworkers attending a conference, and based on reviews and research - this appeared to be the best with bottle specials. The establishment is located in an attractive, antique building and the concept is interesting in that one part of the building is a small wine bar, and another section looks like an authentic Irish pub. The wine bar (Annes) is pleasantly situated around two large, plate glass windows facing the street in a bar which I found to be a little too small and too cold for comfort. Bottle service was excellent, and I appreciated how the bartender brought the four of us each different, high-quality wine to enjoy our EXCELLENT French Pinot noir. We were able to spend $10, with tip, and enjoy an otherwise $65 bottle of wine. If I lived in San Antonio, this establishment would definitely be on a rotation of fine wine bars. Vegetarian options: Wine is vegetarian, right? Dietary restrictions: Red wine is good for the heart! Parking: Street parking in a downtown area Kid-friendliness: Tell your kids to bring dad his wine from the bar Wheelchair accessibility: Roll in like a wine bottle!

We came for cocktails rather than wine and this was a great spot for that. We were recommended to come here by a nearby bar that was louder. We were looking for somewhere more quiet where we could relax and chat, and Annes was recommended. It worked out perfectly. It was a comfortable place with really good service, nice drinks, and large comfortable sofa areas to sit and relax while having your drink. Really nice place and in surprised there are so few reviews

They have one of the best happy hours out there. The GM will have a tasting/wine class once a month. The ambiance and the environment in the actual bar itself is first class and the most welcoming out there.

Had the pleasure to speak and be served by Dominic. Was friendly and attentive to my needs. I appreciate the hospitality. The atmosphere is intimate, an aesthetic different from other bars. I love to come by around opening time since there s less people. Overall a hidden gem

This is a groovy wine bar with sofa s comfy chairs and delicious wine, cocktails and food Much better music than most places. The staff is super friendly and turned us on to Gavi -Cortes wine from Piedmont, refreshing, balanced and light. And in St. Paul square, which is lively. We had fun people watching from the window!
