Ive been going to Narah for literally decades and their beef shawarma wrap is my favorite food in the entire world. Ive moved away and Im craving it something fierce tonight, so instead of heading in for a plate of my own Im reminiscing and leaving a stellar review. that sandwich genuinely has changed my life and no matter how many local places I visit, no one elses compares to Narahs. their hummus is incredible too, and their bread? just makes me think I need to appreciate what I have while I have it more, because tomorrow? who knows, but it wont be quite as good as it was in 20XX because I cant go to Narah.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to. Don t waste your money! The lady managing the seating is racist. I made a reservation a week before for a family gathering for Ramadan Iftar. I arrived 20 minutes early to ensure seating in the pavilion area, away from smokers. However, the lady directed me to an area in the middle of the terrace with smokers nearby. When I politely asked for a change due to family members with asthma, she refused in an authoritative manner, stating I had to accept the chosen area. When I inquired about their seating policy, she claimed it was not based on location, yet she guided people where to sit. Despite my insistence, she refused to accommodate me and was rude, even yelling. To worsen matters, the owner approached me disrespectfully, dismissing my concerns due to being busy. Additionally, the buffet was unorganized and uneasy to walk through, the food was cold, some items were left over, and the serving plates were cheap, small paper plates and cups. Charging $30 per person plus 18% gratuity, whole no one checked on us or asked about the food quality. This is the worst Mediterranean food place in the DFW area. Giving them even a 1-star rating is generous!!!

My daughter and I decided to try this place tonight. It was more of a lesson rather than an experience. They had a buffet outside, the waiter only brought us a menu then disappeared. The buffet was poor in choices and was cold and had flies/bug (given it was outside) we even got our own mystery drinks. 1 plate a each...$63. I guess they had to cover the cost of the paper plates and cups and all the wait staff standing in the corner or sitting down eating. It felt more like we crashed a backyard cookout.

The ambience is very pretty for a chill hookah night with your friends. The food was bomb too. The service sucked though. We had to wait for like 15-20 minutes just for them to get new coals or even just a bottle of water. Also hookah was really bad. We had to get it changed like 3 times and it still was bad. Visit the place for the vibes and amazing food!!!

My advice to everybody is not to go there until they clean that dirty place up! I will definitely not go there again! I dined in with my family there tonight January 28th 2023 at the patio section outside. Honestly, I thought I was dining in at a Mediterranean restaurant, but I was wrong! The outside section looks like a flea market. There is a lot of junk storage out there and honestly that did not look professional or did not make me feel like Im sitting in a restaurant. It didnt have that Arabic atmosphere and they had no music playing ! The tables were filthy and sticky, the restroom was filthy! Poor quality meat and food. It looks like as if they fried the kibbeh in oil that has never ever been changed or cleaned!! The food was pretty much bland and it had no flavor. Shame on the owner!

Food was absolutely amazing. Service & atmosphere completely lacking. I ordered ice water & my boyfriend Dr Pepper we were brought canned/bottled drinks after being told they were from a fountain. We ordered an appetizer that we never received, no apology, no acknowledgement of the mistake, heck our waiter didnt even come back to the table after dropping off our food. We should have known after having to wait 15 minutes to be acknowledged/given menus that the restaurant was not worth it. It truly felt that we were being ignored due to be Americans....the customers of other nationalities were actively attended to & engaged with. Absolutely disappointing. Id give it zero stars except the food was REALLY good.

Besides the wild possums running around the outdoor seating, this place was extremely disappointing. They said the flavors for the tobacco was Al Fakher and Starbuzz. We ordered some heads and each head tasted like nothing. We had them change our head 3 times before tasting something. Even with 2 coals in the head the flavor burned out in like 10 minutes. The food we ordered was some meat and cheese pies. The pies tasted like someone got pillsburry dough and just shaped it like Pide and put cheese or meat in there. After all this I went to pay and noticed in the display case they were showing their tobacco and they and off brand tobacco not the brands mentioned. We saw the man packing our tobacco without gloves then proceed to wash his hands, and hand us our food with his dripping tobacco stained hands. I was charged $35 for 1 serving of water soaked meat pies, a bottle of water and a hookah that died in 10 minutes and tasted like nothing after getting my head changed 3 times. Would I come again? Yes if I was 3 bottles of everclear deep.

Came here for a date night with my husband. I did appreciate the fact they stay open late and the outside decor setting was unique and made you feel like your in the Middle East. Right away though the waiter led us outside to the patio, even though that s what we had in mind before we came but it was strange to not at least give the option of indoor seating but maybe because there was a lot of people playing cards and dominoes. Our food came in paper plates and drinks in disposable cups which was strange and definitely not worth the price they charge. The service was ok but our waiter didn t have a note to write our orders and was just walking around with a garbage bag collecting the disposable paper plates and cups. Salad was good it had a different spice to it. The food was ok we ordered shish tawook, but the rice wasn t too great. The coffee was good and so was the fresh smoothie, but again the price at the end for us turned to be $60 dollars and for serving in disposable plates and cups seemed a little over. Overall, we would probably come here again because we did appreciate the outside setting just be aware it may not be much of a family place because of the hookah smoking atmosphere.

They really out did themselves with the renovations. Theres a very nice patio with a waterfall and beautiful lighting. The hummus is fresh and delicious. The fries were hot and crispy. The LEMON MINT drink is SO REFRESHING! The service was kind and helpful. Highly recommend, will be back again. I want to try the mixed grill family style.

Went for the first time last Saturday. The outside seating was very nice and relaxing. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The problems came after we ordered. We had a party of 6 and half of the items ordered we were told they didnt have. No soup because it was off season. No cheese pies, no meat pies, another item someone ordered that they didnt have (I dont remember what it was). We planned on ending with baklava but guess what...they didnt have it. Also, only go here if you plan to eat outside. Inside seating is practically non-existent and not nice at all. Also, it would be nice if the waiter at least knew how to pronounce gyro correctly. Not gyro like in gyroscope . We may give it another try, but not anytime soon.

This would definitely be a good place to do hookah. The waiters are a bit slow paced but the outside seating has a great environment. The Beef shawarma is well made and served in pita pockets in the sandwich option on the menu. The Baba Ganoush was easily the best part of the meal as I wouldnt have changed anything about it. My brother had the Turkish coffee and it was the largest serving Ive ever seen. The menu is a bit outdated for what the restaurant attributes to inflation and it averaged a $2 markup to every item my brother and I had.
