Its been 5 or 6 years since Ive come for the lunch buffet. I got here at 11:15 & by 11:30 the place was packed. Awesome salad bar & there were about 8 different types of pizza & 3 different desserts, too. The lady working in the dining room was fast & efficient. She cleared used plates & refilled drinks in a timely manner.

The greeter was very pleasant, and no doubt patient enough to deal with difficult customers. However the pizza itself was a let down. The crust was too hard on the edge yet the inside seemed a bit undercooked and the cheese was just disappointingly soggy mixed with the crust. This was my first and last time unfortunately.

Fantastic every time! Chicken, Bacon, and Alfredo sauce Pizza for the win! Update: Came back for a pickup order. 9/8/24- You may need to refresh employees about serving sizes as directly quoted on the menu. Requested a cinnaboli that would serve 6. Arrived at restaurant to pick up order. They made a small. I asked if this is the one that serves six as the menu said a larger does. They said yes, that they are told in training that a small cinnaboli serves 6 contrary to what the menu itself says. I pointed out the menu discrepancy and then had to wait for a new one to be made. Only waited about 6 minutes. Regardless, food was great! I only bring it up as I was feeding 4 kids and 2 adults.

The service was great but the food was just awful. The food was old and cold the cinnamon bread was hard and inedible. I think the best thing on the buffet was the salad bar because I mean how can you screw up a build your own salad bar? The atmosphere was ok it felt a little sticky and grimey but the music was decent and the staff was inviting.

Update: we went today and got a large combo. It was delicious. Porsche was excellent as always I know help is hard to come by, but we had to get up and go to front to get refills and extra plates. One worker was just walking around like they were lost. They were not keeping pizza on the buffet. We had to ask 2 different people to put dessert out. It wasnt busy either Update: we went today and ordered a calzone. It came out hot and fresh. Porsche was there and her service is always top notch

I have been to dozens of Mazzios all over the Midwest and this one is definitely the best! The salad bar is always full and fresh and theres always a plethora of pizza options. The staff are always so nice and welcoming. I will say, if youre different dont go on Sundays for lunch because I and my friends have had multiple instances of rude, judgemental, customers who will openly just stare at you and talk about you as if you cant hear them. Vegetarian options: There is a salad bar, they almost always have at least 1 cheese pizza and a spinach pizza (which is my favorite). Other than salad, no vegan options.

The food was okay, it tasted fresh atleaced. The service was good but the condition of the place was not great. The tables were really dirty along with the seating and glass of the building. Then trying to eat your food while fighting off flys. I would not recommend going to this place.

Went to mazzios today for the buffet, my wife received an email with a free buffet for her birthday, which is 7-1, when we got to the counter to order we were told the coupon can only be used on the actual birthday, nowhere on the coupon did it say that, it only says not valid after July 1st, the Manger said its corporate wide, thats not a very good way to do business, so your Wichita falls Texas store turned down money and ran off a couple of customers, unless business ethics and policys, change I will not go back, its a little embarrassing to find that out at the counter, so we went to a local burger place that makes excellent hamburgers and gave them our money

My all time favorite pizza is the cheese pizza with alfredo sauce. Its better than other pizza places around Wichita Falls. Still does buffet. No other pizza places does buffet.

The food is always excellent, but this last visit, the service was terrible. Their signs say that they are open from 11-8:30. The young girl at the counter told us that we had 20 minutes, and theyll close. This was at 1:15. There was no salad left. Dozens of customers came in after us, and ended up leaving.

You know its bad when Cicis looks like a 5 star restaurant compared to it. We had never tried their buffet so thought wed give it a shot. When I say bad. Omg. Almost everything was empty first of all, and the few things they did have out were hard, burnt, and stale. Taking a bite out of a piece of pizza should not sound like youre eating a cracker. It seemed like stuff from a few days ago. You could pick up an entire pizza with 2 fingers and throw it like a Frisbee. We asked if they were going to put anything fresh out and they said no. I truly am not the type of person to complain but honestly i dont think Ive ever been somewhere with worse food than this.

I m giving 1 star cause I went in ordered at 3:48 pm just a small pizza a chicken Alfredo and a salad bar. Only 2 other customers there waiting on food. Took exactly 1 hour to get my food out to me. Waitress never came to check on me or to give me a update on when the food would be ready. Found a fly in the salad. Alfredo was hot on the bottom cold on top and tasted like it had been microwaved. The pizza was warm at best. Not worth the 27 dollars it costed me. Waitress was nice and courteous after the food finally came out. Kitchen staff and register staff seemed more interested in laughing and joking around then doing their job

Ive eaten at Mazzios in Wichita Falls for years and the last three times is the worse ever. Salad bar and pizza used to be the best but lately the pizza buffet is absolutely terrible. Pizza is not fresh, usually cold and not a good selection. It was never this way when Randy was the manager, you need a new manager. Porchesa is a great waitress but the weekend waitress is terrible.

We have never had mazzios before and on a whim decided to try it we walked in a little after 8pm not knowing that the buffet was supposed to be closed. So right off the bat i notice the store is dirty and there are flies everywhere we proceed to order buffet again not knowing they stop doing it at 8. No one out of the 3 people it took to ring us up mention that the buffet is closed or about to close. So we pay our 30 dollars for 2 people and being our drinks to a table at this point i notice food all over the floor. We go to the buffet and start getting pizza and notice its all old and nasty and has been setting there for alot longer than it should. As soon as we sit down they come over and let us know that in 5 minutes they are breaking down the buffet. At this point we where already over it so we proceed to attempt to eat the pizza and its all just disgusting and old. This was the absolute worse experience ive ever had. Weve had better quality pizza at cicis. We most definitely will never be going back in my opinion they should be shut down.

It is very sad how far down this place has gone. In my opinion this has always been the best, freshest salad bar in town. However, the last couple of times we have went, despite the food being decent, the restaurant on a whole was so dirty and bathrooms were disgusting. The young lady that waited on us when seated was working her tail off in dining room full of customers and never once did the two rude female employees working at the register, put forth a moments effort to help her. Hopefully we will see Mazzios advertise under new management soon!

Most of the tables were dirty, there were plates with crumbs on them in the buffet line. Missing ceiling tiles. The food on the buffet was really lacking and mediocre at best. If you want Mazzios, stick to ordering a fresh pizza and eating it at home.

Update Friday, 8-4-2023 11:00 AM The food was great, and the selection was too. Portia was our server, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly and professional. We never had to ask for plates or refills. If you go after the lunch rush when the crowd is gone, they pretty much ignore you. Never refilled my drink. The food is good and it is more of a family place to eat.

The food was good at the pizza buffet with plenty of choices. It was a busy Sunday at lunchtime and the kitchen did a really good job at keeping up with the demands of refilling the buffet. The staff was limited so some tables took quite a while to clean from the exiting patrons. The buffet is located in a tight area near the kitchen making it hard to maneuver around while selecting pizza. This restaurant seems to be crowded most evenings, and especially on weekends in Wichita Falls TX. The staff is terribly busy but friendly enough, mostly. Getting drink refills is difficult because the front counter where you order is where you must ask for drink refills. It isnt self service drinks. The tables are well used and should probably be replaced or updated. We enjoyed our food. There was a very nice woman (employee) that checked on us several times during or visit and got us extra napkins and took away our empty, dirty dishes. Vegetarian options: Salad, pasta, and Veggie pizza are on the menu. Parking: Parking is very tight in the front parking lot. There are more parking on the sides of the building. The parking lot is hard to exit on the busy Call Field Rd, especially if turning left onto Call Field Rd. Kid-friendliness: There is less cost for a child buffet and a childrens selection of the main menu and pizza buffet. Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap parking spaces. The entry doors are difficult to manage if in a wheelchair or using a walker. If using the buffet in a wheelchair would be nearly impossible without help getting food off of the buffet.

I am a delivery driver through a delivery service and have picked up orders several times. The staff has always been courteous and double checks the order to make sure it is correct when I arrive at the store. Vegetarian options: You can choose what you want in your salads , pasta, or on your pizza. There are many delicious options to choose from. Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options available. If you have dietary restrictions, let the restaurant staff know when you place your order. Not as good as I remembered. I ordered a Dr Pepper liter but got Diet Coke. Asked for napkins and such and got none. Didnt even get ketchup for my fries. Sandwich bread was little on the hard side & a few of my wings where very undercooked that there was still blood. Wont be ordering again. Too many establishments out there that provide way better food for the same price. I must add that I ordered via GrubHub & driver was great.

We arrived at 7:59, the restaurant doesn t close until 10. When we entered, the girl at the register just frowned at us. We approached and told her we d like the salad bar, she then made a face and said Well, it closes at 8. We then left. Why stay open til 10 if you are going to deny food to people at 8 pm? I don t think we will go back. I m disappointed because I was really looking forward to trying their food.

As far as a pizza buffet goes, this is my favorite one in Wichita Falls. It cost a bit more than CiCis, but the quality difference makes it well worth it. Like most pizza buffets I know of, if they dont have what you want, tell the waitress, and he/she will fix you up. They do tend to run with only one waitress, but since he/she is just refilling drinks, clearing dishes from your table, and fetching you fresh plates, it isnt a big issue. So far the only pizza they make that I dont like is their BBQ Chicken Pizza, but thats probably a preference thing.

We will never go there again. The price is way to high for the food. The salad bar looked liked someone had a food fight in it and there werent very many choices of pizza. What was there looked like it had been there a while.

Ordered my pizza for carryout by phone. Told pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. After arriving, was told there was no order for pizza and it would take about 15 minutes. After waiting I received my pizza, once at home I realized the pizza was.practically raw. The pizza had to be COOKED at home, It was then dried out and horrible. I had always recd great pizza, dont know what or who changed in the restaurant, but I will never eat anything from Mazzios again!..
