Ok, I dont know what other Taco Buenos are doing wrong, but the one in Tyler, Texas is absolutely doing it right! It reminds me of the way they all used to be, fresh everything, good service, friendly staff, and a clean restaurant. I stopped by while I was in town...Ive now stopped every time.

I had to knock off some stars for the atmosphere after yesterday s encounter. After having worked all day and the weather being horrible, I decided to just pick up dinner for the family. I thought. Great! Ill just use their drive-thru, simple and easy. While it was simple and easy, the fact that they do not have a cover over the speaker box meant that I got soaked trying to put my order through. And once I got to the drive-thru window again theres no cover so I was getting soaked again. How hard is it to put a cover over your speaker box and drive through window to keep your customers and your workers a little bit drier? ******************************* The restaurant was clean when we arrived. There was one couple ordering ahead of us. It didnt take long for the cashier to take their order and get them done. When it was time to order the cashier was friendly and answered all of our questions quickly. Ordered one a whole lot of platter and one number seven. Both meals were really good. The food seemed fresh and it was tasty. They have a salsa bar that you can help yourself to in that area and was also kept clean. This is definitely not a salsa bar that Im used to, all you had to choose from was two red sauces, one mild and spicy. Price wise it was fine. Great value for the amount of food you get compared to other fast food restaurants in the area. Really the only negative is the location since its on the busy Loop. 323 and there is tons of traffic. Depending on which direction youre driving, you might have to make a U-turn and drive a bit back to the restaurant.

Ive rated it higher in the past, but had to change it. DO NOT use their drive through in the rain. It DOES NOT have any awning. You will get wet. Your vehicle will get wet. The attendant will not be able to take your order accurately over the noise of the rain. This will cause you to spend most of your lunch break sitting in line while the staff corrects consistently inaccurate orders. It will take them at least two attempts at the window to get your order correct. The tiny awning at the window will provide no cover from the rain. You will continue to get soaked. You will spend the few remaining minutes of your lunch break trying to eat a wet lunch in a wet seat of your wet vehicle while trying to get back to work. The staff did the best they could. Whoever designed the drive through lane needs his teeth kicked in.

The food is good, but the selection is quite small, with only chicken and ground beef as meat options, although there are lots of different platters and combos. I found both of the salsas quite spicy, and the mango drink I tried didnt taste like mango at all. The cashier had to ask for help multiple times during our order, but maybe shes just new, idk. Their large to-go containers for their platters are great though, durable plastic, well secured lids, and quite large. They can be easily repurposed as Tupperware or meat marinade containers.

Ordered the chicken chilada platter same thing I order at every one I go to told guy at counter to cover everything with queso cheese he brought it to the table and it was sour cream chicken I then informed him it was wrong the girl had to explain it to him so after another wait it came out missing queso cheese the girl ask again if I paid for that I showed her so she took care of it but the enchiladas and beans had chili on them didn t care for that just wanted what I was supposed to get and they re rung it up to reflect the price they charge me

Its great every time, in and out of the drive thru with hot delicious Tex-mex in under than 5 minutes. The chips are fresh, the queso reminds you of a sit down restaurant. The ground beef looks like real meat and not some amalgamated slop like other drive thru Mexican restaurants, even the salsa is in cups not processed packets.

Phenomenal, the best Bueno Ive ever been to. The manager was great, gave us BACK our coupon, said to use it again and come back, told us he has daily deals and showed us the list and was very passionate about hard times and inflation so made affordable deals. Hands down, up and beyond customer service and great food. Best in Texas. Will no longer go to the Kilgore one.

When we pulled back the man at the window gave us an attitude and a bunch of excuses about how it wasn t his fault we were forgotten about and asked us to move back up to the yellow line. Would give zero stars if possible. Went there on my lunch break. NEVER got my food. Asked for a refund and was told only the manager could do refunds.
