From the very beginning you notice the years and character this business carries. This mom and pop restaurant strives with almost 30years under their belt and serves smoked bbq and homemade sides and desserts! They offer dine-in, take out, and curbside. Hours range from 11am to 6pm or until they sell out Monday to Saturday. 1st time here, hadnt known of this location in Edinburg till we saw posts on the RGV Restauraholics Facebook Group page. This place did not disappoint, employees were so friendly and helpful and the restaurant has a nice, comfortable feel. We ordered the Friday lunch special plate of brisket, chicken, & sausage with rice/bean mix and potato salad. Tried also a brisket baked potato and a chopped brisket sandwich, the BBQ sauce is delicious and complimented nicely with everything. I loved the sweet tea as it always compliments well with BBQ.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family for a decade now. Notably, it is a female-owned and run business, which is quite admirable. The brisket is remarkably tender and its flavor is enhanced by the out standing sauce. The ribs are incredibly juicy and flavorful; I highly recommend them with a rating of 10/10. Furthermore, the staff is always quick, helpful and respectful. If you happen to be in the vicinity, you must pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Food is always delicious. Meats are tender n flavorful. Choice of bread or tortillas. Sides to choose from - Cole slaw, mashed potatoes, corn, rice, charro beans, potato salad, macaroni n fixings (onions, pickles, cheese n sour cream). Papa is huge n full of meat! Sweet tea or lemonade is diabetic heaven. Don t forget about dessert - homemade peach or apple cobbler with or without ice cream. Service is friendly. Been coming here for at least 20 years if not longer. Always welcomed. Always served with a smile. Treated like family. This is a family owned and operated establishment so youll always get consistently great food. LOVE their brisket baked potatoes, but go early as they sell out quicky. Home made peach cobbler is just the bees knees. They have rice and beans, potatoe salad, coleslaw, corn, and Mac and cheese. Have all your BBQ meats and if youre health conscience they have a chief salad. Cant forget the sweet tea either. Come hungry leave satisfied.

This is the second time I come and eat at this location. It will probably be the last. The service was bad then and it has not improved any since my last visit. The Lady at the counter was very rude. She tried to explain to me the difference in the prices of the tea. I told her I understood and she kept going on and on about why the large cup was a different price. I told her I understood and as I walked away she called me rude. She also didn t like it when we asked for a to go box. She said the next time we should tell her we are taking it to go. Maybe they should ask if it is to go or dine in?

Wills B s BBQ has been a fan favorite for me and my family growing up. It brings back nostalgia when my dad used to bring me here. I finally came back after years of being away. I can t believe I missed out on the best BBQ in Edinburg, the atmosphere is amazing and owner is very sweet and friendly. Today I tried the Brisket & Pulled Pork Burrito, people are sleeping on this place. Food didn t disappoint then or now. I highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed, we were the first customers of the day and there was already a quarter of a brisket sitting under the heat lamp. So of course my brisket was dry and tough as leather. The chicken was equally as dry. Mac and cheese litarely just had shredded cheese on top not creamy like you would expect. The loaded mashed tasted good but had fake bacon bits on top. For $20 I definitely expect more. But judging by other reviews it seems to be an on going problem with sliced meats!

We have been trying to get to Edinburg to try Wille Bs for months and finally made it. We were not disappointed! We had the potato with brisket and it was delicious. What really impressed me was watching them check that they werent putting any chunks of fat on top of the potato. The pit master (lovely woman) chopped the brisket and then pulled out any pieces she saw that were fat. Its a small thing, but Ive never had a BBQ place take that step of care with their meats. My husband devoured his potato, but I dont each much so I got four meals out of it before I gave up finishing it. Really big portion, really delicious ingredients, really tender brisket, and both the pit master and her daughter were absolutely delightful to talk to. We will be back, for sure!

Excellent, just what we needed. The plan was that while we were visiting Texas we would try authentic Texan brisket, after surfing the internet for a while we decided on this place. We got there around 5:50 in the afternoon, unfortunately we found that the place was already closed, since they close at 6:00 pm; However, the owner of the place and cook very kindly told us that she still had food so she could give us takeaway; While she was serving us, she told us that she has been in the business for years and the brisket is cooked 24 hours a day, in addition to talking to us even when she didnt speak the language, it was around 60 dollars per meal, more than enough for 4 people of good quality. stomach. When we retired to the hotel we were still doubtful if it was worth it, but just by opening the trays and seeing our food we regretted having doubted, the brisket extremely soft and warm, the potato well baked, the accompaniments exquisite and with good seasoning, everything was delicious, and as promised: if the food is as delicious as it sounds, we will leave a good review. 100% recommended, we never thought we could eat so delicious and so homely, the attention was a complete 10, the place despite not eating there looked very original, the food not to mention and the atmosphere for the little time we were there we could evaluate it like a 100. Thank you very much to that woman who served us and gave us delicious food, we left with a good taste of Texas in our mouths and not just because of the food

Best barbecue in Edinburg and the only one Id take an out of town guest to. Its a real barbecue where you talk directly with the cutter, and therefore heres some advice: if you want moist brisket, ask for it and the cutter will be happy to slice off the fattier side. Been there dozens of times and thats never failed. Let the dieters and the inexperienced have the lean parts.

First time there. We got the Facebook special with brisket, sausage, rice and beans. The brisket was pretty good and was tender and the rice and beans were good. We got there late in the day so they were out of some items. Because of that, I believe the sausage was a little dry. The food is good, but have a few points to make. I ordered chicken and it was a little dry. I was there at 5 pm though. I wish they had looked at it and offered me something else rather than just serve it to me because you could visually tell it was old and dry. The person preparing the food had scratched his goatee before serving my coleslaw. I didnt notice the hair on the cup until I was halfway through with it. I was grossed out. Please use a beard guard. He did wear gloves for the other food items, though. This was just the last item. While the coleslaw is good, wish it would be finely chopped rather than large squares.

We ordered the Brisket, Sausage and smoked turkey plate with potato salad and macaroni salad with peach cobbler for dessert. For a party of 9. Unfortunately the Brisket was dry unless you put alot of sauce on it. The smoked turkey did not taste like anything at all. No smoke flavor or turkey flavor just salt and it was very dry and chewy. The sausage on the other hand was very juicy and delicious. The potato salad and macaroni salad was OK nothing to rave about. And the peach cobbler was not good at all. Overall 3 stars and Im pushing it. And thats because we went in early around 11:30 to get fresh meat. But we were all disappointed.

My sister and I have never eaten around the area where this restaurant is located. We wanted to try some BBQ. We bought a whole meal for 2 and.. Not even the food was ready when we got there. This is more than just a great bbq spot. Willie Bs has been a home away from home when I was looking for a home cooked meal. Everytime I walk in I see family, I see the history of my hometown on every corner and the food is always amazing. This isnt your run of the mill bbq spot. As someone who grew up with a parent and grandparent competing in barbecue competitions. I have pretty high expectations for barbecue because of that. All I can say is that every single box I had was checked off. Friendly customer service and even better food. Brisket was well seasoned and you can tell it was nurtured and made with mom and pop love! I give this restaurant 5 stars because it brought me back to a simpler time in my life. I can t have that same barbecue I did as a kid but this was a really good alternative. I am coming back every time I m in town visit. This is a baby cockroach, its not the first time Ive gone and I tell the owner about it, sad to say she has very important people eating in there and they cant do anything about her infestation. I DID TELL THE OWNER ON HER REGISTER AND ALL SAHE SAID THANK YOU, AND QUICKLY CLEANED UP. The last time the roches were next to the food. Just disgusting

Stopped in to try their loaded baked potato after recommendations. The lunch special included pulled pork snd sausage. I got the works which comes with nice sweet BBQ. sauce. Chef taking orders was very nice and pleasant even though I was I indecisive early. The cashier was so pleasant and we had short conversation about my Jerk Chicken business in Indians. while waiting for my order. The potato was massive, enough for 2 or even 3 serving. Delicious taste. Space is large and clean. I highly I will return with family and friends.

We were craving for Texas BBQ and got a recommendation from a friend to this place. The vibe and atmosphere is nice. They have some instagramable spots as well. I also included their menu here for yall. We ordered a family platter (botana for 2) and a famous baked potato with mollejas. The portion is definitely a lot for 2, we are so full and still have a lot of leftover to take home. It came with choices of 3 sides and choice of either tortillas or bread. We chose potato salad, cream corn and coleslaw. On the plate they have pickles, onion and pico de gallo too. Now lets talk about the taste. Overall, all the meat are awesome except for the brisket, its a little dry. The ribs, chicken and sausages is amazing. The sides are great too! Highly recommend the baked potato, it was PERFECTLY SPLENDID! We chose to have everything on it (butter, cheese, sour cream, bacon bits and chives). You can choose whatever meat you want on it or no meat at all. Staffs are super friendly and welcoming. If you have a chance, stop by and try their food. So gooood

Really good food! First time trying it out and I cant believe I havent tried it before. Ordered the brisket plate with loaded mash potatoes The food and hospitality is very authentic, they literally slice the brisket in front of you as they serve it. Will definitely return soon.

What a pleasant experience!! Delicious brisket and apple cobbler!! The atmosphere is soothing. Growing up outside the city limits, it was welcoming to have the country in the city!!! Ill need to try other food they offer on my next visit!! You can order and do curbside, pick up or dine in. I definetly recommend this BBQ establishment.

Over priced items I got a Texas size taco for $5 and there was nothing Texas about it (I could have got to stripes and got a $3 barbacoa taco and would have gotten more for my money.) The potato I got was old and cold with the bear minimum of ingredients, it was so dry and not worth the $5. I will never go back and never recommend this place to anyone.

The bbq(chicken & brisket) tasted a bit old and dry but the sausage was good. This is where I first tried jalepeno corn and it was good. When husband and I were just near getting done with our lunch I saw a small roach on the tray that our food was on, being that we were just about done we just left. I didnt bother saying anything to the workers but we wont be returning for obvious reasons.

Food is great. Give the food 5 stars. Prices are reasonable. But the 3 stars is for serve. Take a while to get your food. You stand in line and order, then you pay, then sit down and eat. But they have only one person serving the meat and one person serving the side. So its a slow process. If they improve on that then 5 stars it is.
