The maintenance has gone down hill, I bowled with my own ball I brought from home, and the whole time I bowled, the ball was getting gouges everywhere. There are at least a dozen performance harming gouges that have pretty much ruined my ball that has been retired and cant be replaced, and if it can be, it isnt cheap. The next day, I come in to get the gouges fixed, the pro shop guy can only sand out one, but thats because the owner wont let him fix or replace anything. The pro shop guy himself basically says he uses his old balls even though he has 3 brand new balls sitting on a shelf he could use, because he knows the maintenance is horrible. but the owner knows of the gouging issues and knows the exact lanes they happen on 7 and 8, and 17-22, but he swears up and down they have looked everywhere for the problem, and has tried to fix it/has fixed it but still, balls are getting destroyed. In the end, its better to go to Longview and waste your money on gas, then buying and repairing bowling balls, and wasting your money on this nonsense..

The staff is rude and the lanes broke twice whole we were there. When we approached the desk to ask for our lost time or a refund, another family was there trying to resolve an issue. The guys at the desk just dont seem to care about ensuring a quality experience. They told my friend they would rest the clock for our lost time, but the lane never reset. It said lane reserved. We waited about 10 minutes before asking them about it and they accused us of standing around wasting time.

Awful place, lady behind the desk was rude. I ve tried to come bowl so many times, and if I go during the day it s we re having an event come back later , and when I come back later at 9 pm it s we re not letting anyone else in, we re just letting this man finish and then we re closing. Either adjust your hours or actually stay open till 10, this is ridiculous.

Its a bowling alley. It is exactly what you expect. But its clean, the shoes and lanes are well maintained. Is there anything else you could ask for? So if you are looking to go bowling I cant think of a better place to go.

I am sure this place is fun for the bowling amateur. However, if you are not, I would not go here. You will not be treated kindly. We went there to bowl, two families (6 people). There was no poated signage or a web posting about league night. When we walked in, they immediately told us there were no lanes... no hello, no how can we help you... just a rude lady at the registration. It was kinda A seat taken moment like Forrest Gump. So we went to Grand Slam instead, and we had a great time. They have 20 lanes and good food.

You might want to call and ask what time they shut the lanes down for league bowling cause it s not listed on their website. Drove 30 minutes to bowl and got turned away. Attendant seemed totally annoyed that we were there. Very unfriendly.

Went here a couple weeks ago, and paid for two hours of bowling with me and two friends, we had to swap lanes 4 times and they had to fix the pins around 5 times. After about an hour I asked for a partial refund and they outright refused so we just left without even finishing our game. Garbage food, terrible lanes. And awful customer service. Will not be going back and would not recommend.

This place is mediocre at best. The food was the best part, it was always fresh and made to order. The lady who was working the register seemed to hate her job and was bothered by the fact that we walked in and she was required to work. The bowling alley is not so friendly to those who are not on a league. Our youngest needed the raptor to help him with the ball, that cost you per hour which is a bit much considering what we paid as a family of 5 for an hour and there were literally no other children bowling at the time. We made the best of it but will not be returning, next time we will find somewhere else to go bowling.

I have been bowling in the senior no tap league for a few months now. Today was the last straw. The league secretary has made my children which are homeschooled by myself feel unwelcome to watch. She constantly has told them to shut up and move out of a area where they can see the bowling. Today she yelled at my son for sitting about 1 foot right of front table. He was not blocking anyone at all. She came over from her lane and made a issue. I have effectively quit this league because of Patricia. She is the absolute worst league secretary I have ever seen. No one on my team or on the other team had a problem but she made a problem. She needs to be removed from ever being a league secretary again.

The only reason I give green acres a 2 is because of the fact that it s not accommodating to people who want to bowl and are not in a league. They closes down lanes hours before the league even gets there and refuses to allow people to bowl until the league leaves. And when you try to call to see if there are lanes available the phone is never available for someone to call.

My daughter, son and I enjoyed our time together during our bowling experience! Its been a while since Ive been to Green Acres bowling , but all seems pretty much the same except for the no seating area where youre supposed to enter your names before the game. We were told we were to use lane 21. The area above the pins was lit up and the scoreboard was ready for our names, but wouldnt let us enter them. So the woman at the counter did it for us. But, WE HAD FUN!!!

Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and we had such an awesome time. Caitlin and Jeanette took great care of us at the bar. They have lively personalities and they seem to really enjoy patrons company at the bar. They talk to everyone like old friends, and multitask efficiently. Oh, and they make amazing, perfectly balanced mixed drinks. The whole place has been spruced up, too. Updated lanes and arcade, and our burgers were absolutely to die for. If you are in need of a fun outing, look no further.

Im a league bowler and love Green acres alley during the down time. The food is pretty good the management is kind friendly and courteous. I have never had a problem with an actual employee If you bring your own equipment I suggest keeping cleaner and a towel handy occasionally after a fresh oil the ball will not want to come back, but just wipe it down or clean it if thats your fancy and itll fix that problem for you Definitely a place I would bring friends or family if we wanted to kill a couple hours and have a blast!

It was fun, they need more lighter balls with the larger finger holds. I heard recently they removed the smoking area good for you guys! One thing to consider is updating some of the seating to promote a more comfortable hang out atmosphere. But still fun regardless!!

Personally, my first choice would be to go to grand slam and use their bowling lanes simply because it is a much nicer environment. This place is very dated. They really need to make an investment into updating the facility. If you are into bowling, or want to join a bowling league.. sure. But for taking kids. Grandslam would be my first choice unless booked up.

Lanes are great! All new pro lanes! Pizza was awesome. Bar manager is a younger much cooler person to talk to, not an abrasive asshat like the old woman that use to be there. Great vibe, and the jukebox can be used from your phone. Cant beat it. Great time!
