Professional, Courteous, and Compassionate, Attorneys, Paralegals, and Brian Spadey, (Financial Officer), whos the Key Player, during the process, and closing; resulting not only in obtaining, all you ask for; I work in a world of Longshore, (Government, cant touch retirement awards ), Mr. Brian Spadey, The QDRO Expert, has given me access to monies, my industry says, is not available, until retirement age... Its been over a year and I have not received a copy of my custody agreement that I requested multiple times. I also received an email that says I owe over $1000, which is hilarious considering I PAID IN FULL on day 1. Then to top it off, the invoice they sent me shows I have a $0 balence, and they did infact use my client trust fund to purchase the certified copy of my paperwork, that they never sent me. This is obviously no fault of Karas who was my actual lawyer, and very good at her job, but I would not recommend based off of the law firm as a whole.

I honestly cant speak for their attorneys in this situation. I contacted this law firm on a recommendation on how to contest or what options I had after an bias custody ruling in court. I never spoke with any attorney but the male clerk who answered the phone was very rude and condescending. He told me for a consultation it would cost me over $1,600.00 and after that they may or may not be able to assist. 2 hours for the lawyer to review my case and 1 hr for consultation. I have spoke to many other family law lboard certified attorneys in the houston area and this by far was the most ridiculous and least understanding of the at least 5others I spoke with. I was willing to pay for a consultation to offer guidance and perhaps retain services but not $1,600 and for them to say at the end they cant assist. If this is the way business is conducted with all then I would look for other more understanding firms

By far the worst mistake we made in hiring this firm. If the lawyer we are dealing with now is an example of how this firm operates, they need to close down. My son is in the middle of trying to get his legal rights as a joint conservator for his two boys. This lawyer is obviously on the other partys side of just trying to take the easy way out. My son is set to pay child support and the childrens portion of their health and dental insurance. From the beginning he requested to SEE a copy of what she had received from the mothers place of employment showing this information. In the latest draft of the proposed agreement an amount for this was included. The lawyer said the mothers employer paid for her and that she (the attorney) calculated the amount for insurance based on his two children. He still hasnt seen the information from the mothers employer Whats the hold up? This has been requested repeatedly..

The Bastine Law Group is absolutely the best family law firm in the State. Our family has worked with Attorney Bastine and the firm for some years concerning family law matters. All legal matters tend to be emotionally charged with family law being a huge emotional drain. The Bastine Law Group is so comforting, professional and highly knowledgeable in all matters relating to Family Law. I would never hesitate to call them for consultation regardless of the legal matter confident that we would be appropriately guided by a talented Attorney. I live in Florida but had a legal issue pertaining to my grandchildren in Texas. I hired Bastine Law Group to help with my divorce. Getting a divorce sucks, but having a firm that had your best interests in mind to guide you through the process was comforting. They were always very accessible by phone and email. I was always able to talk to a real person or received a callback in a timely matter. The process was explained so I knew what to expect. The communication was superior, and you could always reach someone when you called. I was going through a divorce and wanted custody of the kids. talk about how we got you more than 1/2 of the assets and that your children are with you and will be taken care of financially thru college.

Very poor representation by my attorney. It was like she put me on the back burner. Never called, everything was email showing no one on one representation. I had to beg for copies of my pleadings to see status my case. She got me so upset with lack of communication that the business manager had to play referee. Very upsetting experience. Nura Baaba was my attorney.

The entire legal process is uncomfortable from the embarrassment of someone showing up at random locations and serving you papers, to choosing a lawyer, to sitting quietly across from this other person you used to have a good relationship with who s trying to destroy your character while your lawyer, a stranger, speaks on your behalf and fights for your legal stance, your reputation, your finances, and in my case, my livelihood! I was fortunate enough to have been referred to Attorney Robinson from a friend, and she understood me, my concerns, my family s concerns, and best of all, I had the best lawyer in the room! She s honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable and has a strong staff to back her up. The Bastine Law firm totally took care of me when my friends and I allegedly did something stupid in college and she got it dismissed with nothing on my record. It feels good when your lawyer walks in the courtroom and the other attorneys, bailiffs and court staff all speak to her. Attorney Waddell and her staff at Bastine Law Group always answered and treated me like I was special. Hopefully I won t have to use them again, but they would definitely be the only call I make.

I had a family issue that a couple lawyers insisted there was nothing I could do until I found Mrs. Robinson, who came highly recommended from a friend who stated that if anyone can figure it out, she can and she was right! She took control of the situation quickly. She s not cheap, and she shouldn t be, and honestly, I would have paid triple to get the results we achieved. If you don t want to take a chance with your sensitive matter, don t waste time and money getting bs consultations. She spent an hour and a half with me in our initial consultation asking me questions I hadn t even thought of and we came up with an effective strategy that she and her staff at Bastine Law Group executed. I will always swear by her and her people.
