This is the most spectacular dragon I ve ever seen!!! I love dragons and I was visiting my sister( who lives in Roanoke) and she commented that we should stop and see it. We searched and found it just before dark-you must see it then- it s even more spectacular at night!!! As you can see, I couldn t stop taking pictures of it!

Every time we drive by on the freeway the kids are looking out the window, eagerly awaiting to spot Fury. What a fun statue!

This statue is way bigger than any picture gives it credit! Its a massive accumulation of metal with beautiful edges, curves and seemless connections. The small description below says its name and the donors. Not much else to it, and not much needed. Its big, and its awesome! Must see for anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship or art at all. I also got lucky and the grounds keeping let me quickly see the statue before it opened and it is free to see.

This is extremely unsightly and seems like a HUGE waste of taxpayer dollars and just to sell some tacky merch. I wonder who owns that brand and how close they are to the mayor
