Nice store. Went in for framing help and apparently their framing person leaves two hours before the store closes so it was a wasted trip for me Their employees are nice and they ve got other great decorations just an unfortunate wasted trip on my end

Small store. They did not have what I went in for, but they did have the supplies to make it instead. Also, had a good sale on some of the stuff I had to get to complete the project. Employees were pleasant and helpful. Emmy remembered I was an educator and reminded me to use my teacher discount, which I appreciated very much!

Our local Michaels store (San Angelo) has the best employees especially Kathy (manager) and Nicole. I had an issue that these ladies went far and above to remedy for me. Great craft store. Hard to walk in and out in a timely manner with just one item. I tend to find I have spent close to an hour there and considering the size of this store its a credit to thier stock. They carry specialty items that can not be found at other big box craft stores here in town. For example; three, four, and 5 tier rolling carts in a large variety of colors for reasonable prices, starting at $25. Definitely recommend.

If Covid has taught us anything, its that we can order anything we need on Amazon and have it within 2 days. Which is why it baffles me that Michaels has done away with accepting competitor coupons and only offers 20 and 30% coupons regularly, rather than the 40% and higher that they (and Joanns and hobby lobby) have trained their clientele to use and expect. Do they not want people to use them instead of Amazon? Do they not want to bring people back to their stores? I checked and the items I routinely buy had increased in price and now there arent coupons. There is zero reason for me to shop here. Even if I needed it immediately, Id make do rather than come back. And then when you visit a store in person after a year of Covid avoidance, and the associate actually gives a little bit of a snort laugh before replying that they havent accepted in at least 3 years when the policy took place at the start of Covid the previous year... Well, it just furthers my resolution to continue not shopping there. So 2 stars to Michaels in general for inflating their prices, training their clientele to expect and use coupons, and then keeping the high prices and doing away with matching competitors, and 2 stars for the snort laugh from the associate who helped me.
