They finally disappointed me sadly. I love this place, the pizza is great and the Eggplant Parm dish is my favorite. Customer service is fantastic. Im here to say this is typically a 5 star review, but 5 stars requires consistency. Tonight I had a terrible meal. Their version of the Detroit Style Pizza is a disaster. I suggest you pull it off the menu until its improved. The thickness was very uneven, the cheese and toppings were sliding off each piece, the dough was dry and lacked a buttery and toasted mouthfeel. Its nice to see you add it to the menu, so please keep it but with improvements.

I was greeted with smiles and the environment felt like home. We ordered a calzone, a slice of pepperoni and baklava. The baklava didnt make it home! The pepperoni pizza was delicious, best slice Ive had in a long time, and the calzone was cheesey with a crispy crust. You can tell that everything is home made. 10/10 best pizza, and great customer service!

We came over from spending a day on a steamtrain out of Cedar park, then stopped at Piranh records. We were just a bit hungry, saw good reviews of this place on Google, and borh of us thought a couple slices of pizza would be good. A couple pieces turned into many because this pizza is fantastic! HORRIFIED. An out of town friend from my husbands military unit, whom is 100% disabled, was just told to go put his legal, properly marked, trained, veteran service dog in his vehicle. They absolutely refused to take our order because he said he didnt want to get in trouble.... This friend is from Washington state and specifically wanted to eat at this one restaurant the one day he was in town. So sad and I hope this review loses them at least a few customers who do respect those whove lost more than you could ever imagine for us to live in the freedoms we have today, even their freedom to own and operate a business which is allowed to refuse people service (albeit this refusal was illegal and could be pursued if our friend felt so inclined).

It has been over a decade since I have stepped foot here. Took my family. Only hubby loved the cheese pizza. The rest of us were not fans (too greasy on pizza and calzone the mushrooms and onions not cooked all the way). Customer service is dry not really friendly. Came back a second time for an order to go and asked for parm/peppers to go, the guy at register tells me they are at table just pour... I have had pizza all over the US and that is a first on a to go order to grab the parm/pepper shakers and pour???. A bit bizarre. Food not impressed. Service dry and location all the booths have holes in the seats. Read Garret T. review how awful...they know they have a faulty to go system and still use it and allow patrons to be taken for orders. Not good. I hate to discourage anyone but I always support local so it is worth a try but for me was a no go.

Great NY-style pizza. Probably my second favorite in the area just behind Tony Cs. Compared to Slapbox, Tony Cs, or Pinthouse its a much lower frills type of place. But delivers on the taste. I hope the owner isnt as greedy with his employees as he is his customers. I placed a $40 order here on Friday afternoon to bring to my father who was in the St. Davids Medical Center down the street. The order was processed online and confirmed. I arrive to the location and my order was not in their online system. The owner informs me that this happens on the time with their online system and that orders dont always go through. No worries, I show the owner my confirmation as well as my bank statement showing the posted transaction. He insists that my order must have been sent to another Nikis location despite what the confirmation showed, and refused to help me with my order unless I bought the order again. I called the other two locations in front of the owner to confirm that my order was not currently in their queue, which it wasnt. The owner did not care and said that he couldnt make me my order unless it showed up in his system, as if the Clover payment software was physically putting the pizzas in the oven. I asked him what I was supposed to do. I have a posted transaction on my bank statement, a confirmation email that my order had been placed, and an owner who refused to make my two pizzas. He shrugged his shoulders and refused to talk to me further as I sat there empty handed. I told him why am I being held financially responsible for an error with your online software. One that you admitted to giving you issues in the past? One of the employees said that they had issues with it just the day prior. The owner said I didnt say we have issues with the online software. Weve only had one issue. Well is it possible that this is your second issue? No. The lady behind me overheard this conversation and asked the owner if she could purchase my order for me on top of her order. I told her that wasnt necessary, but she insisted due to the fact that this pizza was for my father in the hospital. I offered her $40 in cash to compensate but she refused. The owner silently watched this exchange as he swiped her credit card with no empathy for the mistake of his point of sale system. The transaction was never refunded on my bank statement. The owner was paid twice for this order despite easily being able to just make the order. Im currently disputing the charge with my bank. The owner prioritizes his end of day profits over the mistakes of his own point of sale software which he admitted frequently has issues. The owner puts the risk of his online ordering software at the expense of his customers. Pizza was not worth the hassle. I hope the owner isnt as greedy with his employees as he is his customers.

This place is !! I dont write reviews often but I just wanted to commend this place. Its hard to find consistent food outside of big commercial chain restaurants nowadays. Ive had delivery from both the Austin and RoundRock locations and have 0 complaints!! (I will say that the round rock one is my favorite, because they offer this delicious chocolate cake my bf always asks for) Unfortunately I havent had the time to dine in so I cant speak much for atmosphere or service in that regard, but as far as delivery service goes, my ubereats deliveries have always been on time, correct, hot, and well-packaged! The biggest bonus points though; come from the fact that they have the best price on eggplant parm & chicken parm that you will find anywhere in the area. Good portion and the most flavorful too. Ive spent upwards of 20$ on chicken parm from well known Italian places in the area and found them to be bland and subpar. Nikkis may not be over the top fancy, but the dish always hits the spot and thats the important part. Thank you nikkis pizza !

I grew up on North Italy. Tonight my husband had the tortellini in mushroom sauce. I had the eggplant parmesan. Both meals tasted like someone who has lived in Italy and is sharing the real flavor of the country through a restaurant off 620 by the high school. The flavors and portion size were amazing. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: This was a terrible experience all around. My order was over $60 to include a convenience fee . Somehow my order for delivery was confused for a pick up order despite tracking showing have been delivered at my address. I called to clarify, but got nowhere with the clerk. I then traveled to the restaurant and asked for my order, the kid working behind the counter acknowledged me being there, but didn t think he should hand me my order that had been sitting on the rack for over 45 minutes at this point. If I could rate my experience a ZERO I would have. I make it a point to support local businesses, but I ll be taking my my hard-earned money elsewhere.

Were visiting Austin for the weekend and wanted to try a local pizza place. Nikis didnt disappoint. Everything from the marinara down to the crust tasted fresh and homemade. Pricing was great too for what we got, an XL Sausage & Pepperoni, a large Barbecue Chicken pizza, and a side of cheesy garlic bread for a total of $35. This is some of the best pizza weve had in a long time.

Bought by the slice so they basically just warm up a piece from what they have in the window. Pizza was warm but the cheese stayed pretty solid and grease just pooled on top. Wouldnt recommend by the slice. The rest of the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked decent may give it another shot.

Old school by the slice pizzeria. Totally lacks the modern Brooklyn hipster pretentious vibe of some of the joints in Austin doing NY style pizza. The slices arent the biggest in the world, but theyre a good price and taste right. They also have the Pacman/Galaga game table in the corner. This place rules.

We got tired of the normal pizza around town and a friend had recommended Niks. It didnt disappoint! The crust was crispy brick fired and the toppings were just right. We will definitely be having more pizza nights. The price point was very good compared against some other Italian places around town.

This was the best pizza weve had in a long time. The crust is so good. We ordered the white and supreme half-and-half pizzas, and each bite was delicious. We will definitely come back.
