Bacon burger was missing the bacon. Food came quick and was still tasty. Server was slow to get to us. Music was insanely loud for an evening during a football game. Not a bad place, but not great. Going to try the place next door at a later date.

What a section of whiskeys! Its almost a prepare to be amazed moment when you walk in. If you want your favorite, its probably in stock and reasonably priced. Nestled into The Hub, and with an entry to match, youd think you were in the worst hidden Speakeasy on the planet. The apps were better than average and the waitstaff was attentive without hovering. Try this place out!

Nice local neighborhood pub, Fully stocked bar with a good variety of craft beers. Several large screen TVs, with different sporting events on each one of them, The night I was there they had MLB , WNBA, and Classic boxing matches from the 1980s on some of the large screen TVs. The burger and fries I had were good but regular bar type food on the menu. The one thing I would have liked to see different was there was not a printed menu to look at, you had to scan a QR code onto your phone and get the menu. Part of the problem with that was my phone only had 2% battery life left and I did not have my charger. I needed to turn my phone off to save my battery for my ride home. I have been there several times and I will go back Parking: The parking is not always difficult to get a parking spot close to the front door but depending on the time of day/night it could be a bit of a walk to get to the front door.

The food is fantastic here! We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with french fries, blackened chicken (w/o the bun) with bacon and grilled vegetables, and a side order of deviled eggs. It was for take out. It is the best bar food that I have ever had. Everything was high quality and worth every penny! The bartender was very friendly and helpful. We will be ordering food from here in the future.

This place has an awesome classic bar feel with an excellent liquor selection and premium craft beer on tap. Found Manhattan Project Blonde on tap here and hadn t seen it anywhere yet. Bartender was super chill and made me feel like a regular. Coming back for sure

This is a good place to hang out with coworkers after work or alternatively with a group of friends. High chairs and a nice bar where you can order a variety of spirits. Stopped by Ron s Place on Belt Line in Addison for a quick drink and got some very poor service. The bar was running a promo of $8 for an old fashion & $7 for a whiskey & coke made with Still Austin whiskey, but charged me $9 for the same whiskey on the rocks. When I asked to speak to Rudy who is the manager so I can could understand why I had to pay $2 more for just a glass of the same whiskey by itself Rudy chose to ignore my concern, exhibiting his poor customer service. Do eat make sense that I had to pay $2 extra for NOT getting coke with my drink.

Love talking with Danny, just had a great experience (As usual) coming in for lunch during work. I have been here multiple times during the day over the past year, and Id have to say, I have met some of the kindest and heartwarming staff. I usually try to find Obscure places for the best burgers and my hunch was right. The burgers are flipping fantastic especially when it goes along with a red or amber. A massive selection of all your spirit desires and an amazing tap selection as well. Thanks Danny for being awesome and chill to talk with

Friendly staff, manager was very respectful... However, what they call Blue Cheese, I dont know just gross white bland... Lemon pepper wings overcooked. Staff didnt really have recommendations on the night shift. Day shift food and staff were great, that is why I am going back to three stars. However, night time needs some major food improvements.

One of my favorite places to come on Wednesday s for Whiskey Wednesdays! I am a big whiskey lover so this place is amazing! Last night I visited this place with my friends. This place was open till 2 am. The bartender said it was their closing time. I said well leave in 5 minutes. He responded saying that we have 8 seconds and after that they would kick us out. He could have said the same thing with polite language. But he chose that ugly path. Then we left. We didnt want to be a part of that ugly conversation. I will never visit this place again. Some manners would have been great. I guess its no fair to expect manners from everyone.

The reason I like this bar so much is the vibe and of course the barman. The vibe is chill with an extra dash of friendly. Im Irish and this reminds me of one of my local pubs. People are their to enjoy a quiet pint and chat. The booze isnt the point, the atmosphere and company is. It was moderately busy but not swamped and not empty. Just right.

We went to Rons Place because it was my Godbrothers favorite place to go. It Saddens me to say that He gained his wings too soon, but I know Heaven needed him more than us. Omg this is my new favorite place to eat! The food here is extremely tasty, bursting with flavors! The portion of the food exceeded my expectations! This is the chicken fried chicken, so good i had to return the next day for the exact same dish and it was everything i had hoped for! I usually dont do many reviews but Rons place tickled my taste buds just so, that I just had too! Oh the drink selection is impeccable. Rons Place is a small bar with a great selection of whiskeys. Wednesday is $5-whiskey-Wednesday, and they have something like 60-odd whiskeys in the promotion. They also have a good selection of appetizers and bar food, plus some salads and larger entrees. On my visit, several big screens TVs were playing a mix of Olympic coverage and music videos. It was boisterous at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night.

My hubby and I tried Rons Place because I purchased a Groupon. Rons Place and The Hub are next door to each other, and owned by the same owner. Rons Place is small, non-smoking, while The Hub is larger with billiards, and permits smoking. They are both bars that serve food. And even though Rons is non-smoking, you can still smell the smoke drifting over from The Hub. I bought the Groupon not really knowing what to expect. We ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer, along with an unsweetened tea and a lemonade. I had a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, hubby had the bbq brisket sandwich with fries. The chips were standard corn tortilla chips, and the salsa was served cold and tasted average. It was fine to me though, but my hubby wasnt very impressed. My Caeser salad with the grilled shrimp was good, but my lemonade tasted like sugar water. I definitely did not ask for a refill. My hubby enjoyed his fries, but didnt finish his bbq brisket sandwich as it was dry and the sauce tasted odd. Our server was very nice and attentive, which was a plus. But, although we had a Groupon, we still felt like we overpaid for the overall quality and quantity of our meal. It was interesting going to a new place, but its highly unlikely well return since there are so many better options for dinner. Im sure Rons Place and The Hub are great places to hang out and drink with friends, but probably not the best places to go just for dinner.

I would have given 6 stars if I could! The brisket quesadillas are the best quesadillas Ive ever had. I didnt bite into any fatty chunks and the meat had great elasticity without being chewy. Their jalapeno ranch is homemade and has just the right amount of heat. The tortilla was soft on the inside with the perfect crunch on the outside and they are not stingy with the cheese. My friend had the Big BLT and she said it was delicious. The bacon was cooked just right, the lettuce was crisp, the tomato was full of flavor, and the bread was toasted to a beautiful golden brown. I cannot wait to go back. I want to try more things on the menu but it will be hard to restrain myself from the brisket quesadillas. I highly recommend this place to locals as well as visitors for a delicious meal.

Freshest of Salads....always. some of the best wings you will find in the area. Competitive prices on drinks and entrees. Most of all, friendly and prompt service. If this is not your go to neighborhood bar, you should make it so! Love this place!
