Peter Hall was definitely a BREATH OF FRESH AIR compared to my experience with other lawyers and investment advisors. I was referred to Peter when some of my friends told me to put my savings into a Trust for dealing with my finances when I passed away. Although I had heard that Trusts were a little pricey (I dont have a lot of money to begin with), I had heard that Trusts were the best way to be sure the government and any other estate planners wouldnt whittle away at my life savings through taxes and exorbitant fee schedules. Peter was exactly what I needed to help navigate those treacherous waters! And with his assistance, I came to understand the pros/cons of a Trust vs a Will. I had already created a simple will several years ago utilizing one of those Will Document technologies you can purchase online...but after meeting with Peter, found out that my final finances were sorely in need of a review by someone that knew how to help me achieve what I really wanted to provide for my beneficiaries! Peter Hall more than met my needs and expectations in that regard!! Peter was VERY informative and laid out all of the final financial options in a fashion that I could understand...which is important for a 64 year old father of four grown children/beneficiaries! He answered ALL of my questions in a non-pressure fashion and listened to my issues with an ear toward the best resolution for my concerns...rather than designing complex documents and options that would require additional meetings and ultimately additional fees. It was apparent that my welfare was his priority! And just as important, his fees were incredibly reasonable, which isnt at all common in the Legal profession. Bottom line, he shared with me that a Trust really wasnt the best method for my final estate needs...and was way more expensive (5 times more expensive) than what I needed! Finally, Peter was not only incredibly helpful, his professional demeanor and attention to document detail was apparent in all that he said and provided to me. Truly top of the line as an Attorney and Legal professional, Peter Hall rekindled my belief in the Legal Profession. I would DEFINATELY RECOMMEND Peter Hall to anyone looking to prepare their estate in the event of their passing. His down to earth demeanor, candor, and reasonable fee schedule were exactly what I was looking for. In fact, I have some other legal work I need to have done now and will be calling Peter Hall for assistance on those issues as well. I know I will receive the same professional and caring service as before!

Newman and Hall are the best attorneys I have ever worked with in my life me and my wife had bought a home from a family member and when we went to pay our last and final bill the family member said we didnt pay him and tried to evict us we were hit by a tornado and lost about a year and a half worth of receipts that were stored in the home these were receipts for cash payments that I no longer had so our case was complicated to say the very least I was referred to Newman & Hall by a title company me and my wife were skeptical at first as we all are with attorneys sorry Peter LOL ... Newman and Hall were able to take all the receipts we had plus the information Newman and Hall were able to beat slap hold him down and choke the information out of and they found out exactly what we owed him this came out better than me and my wife could ever have expected now we are out right homeowners thank you too for everything you have done for us God forbid we ever need an attorney you two will be my first and last call take care and god bless!

During the holidays of 2018, I received a demand letter. It had been written by an attorney and initiated by two of my immediate family members. I was shocked and caught off guard but knew I would need my own representation. Prior to this, I had little experience with the legal world, so I began researching law firms. Fortunately for me, Peter Hall accepted my call. During my meeting at New & Hall, I never felt rushed and was even encouraged to share my perspective. The idea of needing to talk to an attorney is a bit stressful for me but working with Peter Hall has really changed my point of view. Peter helped redo my father s will, revoke a trust that was not needed and do all the rest of the documentation that goes with that. He was very responsive, came to the facility where my dad was at and was very nice. After my dad passed he met with me and advised me about what to do. He gave me support and told me we likely didn t have to do probate so I felt like he worked to save me money, not charge me for what I didn t need. If you are looking for an attorney to look after your interest who will go the extra mile, you have found him. We had a long term investment property in Minneapolis that offered a buy out its limited partners. We had not been attentive over the years and had no idea the property s worth. Everett New flew there himself to tour the property . . . down to the boiler rooms! He met with the principal partner and his attorneys and started negotiating on our behalf. Peter Hall was referred to us, after we learned of my ex-husband s passing. My ex-husband passed away suddenly in Dalles in February of 2019 without a Will. My 25 year old daughter being the sole heir, would inherit her father s home, by Texas Law, but we had no idea how to proceed. My daughter, my husband and I currently reside in New Mexico, so we d need to handle most of this over the phone and by email. We spoke to Peter about our situation and he clearly explained the process to us. It was a bit nerve racking to conduct this whole process over the phone, but Peter was fantastic throughout. He was always there to answer any questions that we might have, and took the pressure off us by quickly resolving a decades old family member situation that could have held up the process. He even connected us with a local title company and informed us what we should expect during the whole process. My daughter had to fly into Dallas for the final hearing, and I felt confident that she was in good hands. He walked us both through a few snags along the way, and fought for us when she experienced unnecessary requests by the court. We both felt that Peter was very knowledgeable, patient with our questions, and trustworthy. The probate process was finalized and my daughter was named Executor of the Estate and was able to quickly sell her fathers home. We originally went to Peter for a will so that our kids were covered in case something happened to either/both of us. Peter took the time to explain, educate, and simplify the process that we got what we needed not just what we wanted. As our kids matured and reached 18 Peter helped us with the correct forms so that we could still protect our kids at school if need be. When I formed my latest company Peter helped me there as well. Peter Hall is a lawyer like use to exist only in the old movies. He is low keyed, his command of case law and technical application is superlative and unassailable, he is completely honest with you in his analysis the merits and deficiencies of your case, he always puts your interests ahead of his.Try to find that in Dallas today, there are very few, but they are very hard to find and they won t in slick ad s on TV.
