Great alternative for your standard seafood spot in Pearland! Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, restaurant was clean and bright. Overall great experience, the Dragon Bowl was so good after sharing it with the family almost ordered another for myself.

We visited on a Thursday evening. There was no line. They have a nice sized eating area. Dragon Seafood Rice: It was fantastic. It was a good large portion of rice. It had a decent amount of crab meat. It only had a few shrimp, but the flavor was great! We had plenty of rice left over for 2 meals. Regular French fries: No complaints. Good portion size and good crisp. Crab Daddy bao: favorite of the 2 seafood options. Good flavor, nice fry, and not fishy. Shrimpolicious bao: it was flavorful but a bit messy to eat. Peking chicken bao: my favorite of the meat baos. The chicken had good flavor, a nice fry on it, it was still juicy and tender. Lil Ms. Piggy: this was too salty/seasoned for me. Dont get me wrong, it was good. The pork was tender, and the flavor was good. It just had too much of the sauce for me. I would only get it again if I could get the sauce on the side. Do not ask for a cup of water. Buy a bottle if you want water. Excuse the photos. We were tearing it up before I remembered to take pictures. Just realized how bad the pics are, but I was in the middle of something

Ordered the shrimp crab puffs ($8), Dragon Bowl ($22), and their chopped up chicken with fries ($13). I definitely recommend the first two. They came out super fresh. The crab puffs were golden crispy and the filling was perfectly seasoned. The dragon bowl came with a combination of shrimp, catfish, and crispy Brussels sprouts over the softest rice ever, drizzled with a crawfish Alfredo sauce. Would go again just for that dish!!! Soooo good. Everything I ordered is easily shared with 2-3 people. Skip on the fries though - chicken was a little dry and it was average overall. Friendly service, but there is a wait time when you order your food since it takes a while to fry or cook!

I was first enticed by the unique menu online, so I decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival, the outside looked like your standard mini mall seafood spot. But make no mistake, this is not your standard mini mall seafood spot! It was after 9pm and the place was packed. Most people were there for crawfish. But since the menu was so diverse and experimental, we went for variety. We got the brussel sprouts, edamame, gyoza, dragon rice, and a beef rice bowl. From the first taste of the brussel sprouts we were blown away. Some of the best prepared brussels ever! They were crunchy, light, layered, charred and perfect. Every dish was special. The beef rice bowl had an egg on top, which we quickly cut open and let run and mix into the rest of the dish. It brought the tender beef, scallions, and homemade pickles all together. When we were almost done, the owner stopped by to chat with us. After learning about his culinary history and interest exploring unique flavors and quality ingredients it all made sense. Its safe to say were returning tomorrow for lunch and hope to try the bao buns. Boiling Dragon should be an absolute classic for Asian inspired comfort food. Highly recommend!

The boudin balls were not hitting as expected. The shrimp po-boy wife said was good and the fries were not good to her said they were just plain. Over all we will try this place again even though the price was a little high for two to go the food made up for.

Took out food twice. The restaurant never picks up its calls. Waited on average for 30 to 50 mins. Both times I was told I would receive a phone when ready but never did. I had to ask. The crawfish is above average with limited/frugal amount of sauce. The wait and the lack of service is not worth it for me.

The service was great, Adriano was very pleasant and helpful. The place wasnt pack, our food came within about 10 mins of ordering. The place is a bit pricey -Gumbo: my kid didnt like it. The liquid had a cambells soup gumbo taste to it. He only took a few bits and didnt want more. It had an acrid taste -General Tso: the rice was moist had some seasoning it had an alluring taste to it. The sauce was very dulcet, overall I think this was the best general Tso Ive tasted in Pearland. I only regret not doing chicken. -Captains Feast: overpriced. The corn it more sweet than spicy. The sausage was very good, the spice wasnt too intense. The seasoning they used on it will piled in one spot too much but was fixed once I rolled it in the liquid. We got the hot, it wasnt overpowering. Had a nice level of hotness to where it didnt take away the taste of the dish as a whole. The shrimp was amazing, I would probably get a dish with only shrimp next time. They were easy to peel and was bold in flavor. -Dragon Bowl, could be butter. My kid didnt eat much of it. It have too much rice. the prices are much more compared to the other seafood place in the area even tho they have a few semi subpar dishes. But I love trying new places

I ate here once before shortly after it opened and I honestly cannot remember what I had. I was feeling hungry for something different on a Saturday for lunch and decided to give another try. I placed an order for pick up. I live very close to this spot and the food was ready quickly when I arrived. The restaurant was clean and quiet when I entered with a few people eating in there. I ordered the Shrimp Crab Puffs, Brussel Sprouts, Shrimp Fried Rice and Catfish Po-Boy. Nothing I ordered was bad but nothing knocked my socks off either. If I m keeping it a buck, it mostly tasted generic to me. The crab puffs were okay. The brussel sprouts were actually pretty tasty though. Now to the main courses. The shrimp wasn t bad at all but it was not packed with flavor either and the rice was a bit dry to me. Admittedly, I m not a big rice guy in the first place but I just need a little more flavor and moisture. I had high hopes for the po-boy since I haven t found any especially memorable po-boys outside of Louisiana. Unfortunately, the catfish was a bit dry and the bread was too dense for me and not garlicky enough in my opinion. The fries were plentiful but again a bit limp. I applaud this restaurant for having such a diverse and varied menu. I look at it and everything looks delicious. Unfortunately, the execution wasn t there for me this time. I d love to come back and try something else from the off menu specials. With so many options in the area, I hope next time I return I can experience some bolder flavors that match the variety on the menu.

Buttery & seasoned to perfection. Its definitely shareable. After I had my serving, it still filled the to-go box all the way up. Took it home to my daughter, and she thought I ordered her food too, lol. The add-on fried jumbo shrimp was sooooo good!!! Fried just right and very crispy the way I like. The tarter sauce was very tasty! Cant wait to go back and try the other dishes they have. I have been wanting to try them for a while. Finally, I went here based on all the good reviews Ive seen. Boiling Dragon; if you add more veggies and cut out half the noodles, youd be golden.

He said that he would check the filter, and he tried his best to make sure that I was pleased. I didn t think it was that big a deal, but he went above and beyond to make sure that I was a happy customer. I had the dragon fried rice, which had a plethora of meat. It was a large portion and was good. Although the food was good, I m even more impressed with the service. I love when restaurants go above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy.

The food is edible but I do not plan on going back or recommending this restaurant. The garlic noodles have flavor BUT the chicken order comes with gdiced size pieces of chicken that taste bad. They have a leftover taste and are dried. Its a very unfair proportion of chicken they add to the noodles. Imagine finding random pieces of chicken here and there. Also it comes with peas and carrots. Not very satisfying either. No cabbage is added just random slices of onion. The egg roles are miniature. 5 for 5.50. They do not taste good. Lack seasoning and good flavor. Overall it doesnt satisfy. Im not happy giving them my money so for those reasons I wouldnt recommend. Theyre cutting corners and it shows

One lady came after me to dine in and ordered crawfish which looked good but Some how I got my food after her eventhough I was before her but overall I was impressed with the portions and the taste.

We finally went out and tried this new restaurant for Fathers Day. The food was good, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the owner even chatted with us. They all wore masks and sanitized whenever they can. Well definitely go back and try the other menu items.

Decided to try them on a whim. I normally dont try new places when Im hungry and want good food. We ordered the dragon bowl, garlic noodles with shrimp, boiled shrimp and a pork belly bun. Everything was good and filling. My children loved the noodles. My only complaint was the pork belly lacked seasoning. The service was quick, the gentleman who took our order was patient as he explained the food. Ill definitely be back.

We ordered the dragon bowl, cray cray fries and softshell crab bao. All delicious. Huge serving sizes. We had to take more than half to go. My only complaint is their chairs are small, metal and very uncomfortable. I guess well take food to go.

Best Asian food Ive had in a long time. Great value too! I wish they had legitimate Coca Cola products on tap and not that horrible generic stuff. Service is slow, but I know they are in the process of hiring and its hard for small business to keep people, so I respect their efforts in the kitchen. Love the place!

I had been wanting to try Boiling Dragon for a while, so I was SUPER excited to go last week. Unfortunately, my family and I were HUGELY disappointed. We ordered: 5 lbs of crawfish (cajun boil flavor), catfish basket, chicken strip basket, the firecracker shrimp, 3 softdrinks and 1 iced water. First of all, the firecracker shrimp was an appetizer... but it was brought out 15 min after we had already gotten our food... and it was awful. The chicken strips were SO badly overcooked it was like eating jerky. The catfish was also over cooked and tasted off - also had bones in it. Finally, the crawfish were gross... they were super small, under seasoned, over cooked and the dipping butter was weird and coagulated. The restaurant itself is very small, which is fine, but if I have to go up to the counter and order my food, pay $101.00 (literally what we paid), not have a waiter... I expect the food to be better. I ended up bringing the catfish back up to the counter and informing the gentleman behind the register that their fish wasnt good and that is tasted off. He took it from me and just said ok. No offering to refund us the price of the meal (my daughter took one bite), no Im so sorry about that, can we make anything else for you? ... nothing. We will NEVER step foot back in that restaurant again.

If you havent been to the Boiling Dragon, then you need to GO! OMG!!! The portions are plenty The food is off the chart!!! First, we had to try the Brussels Sprouts for an appetizer. Im still licking my fingers! Moving on to the Saigon Shrimp and Dragon bowls for our lunch. Let me tell you! Can someone tell me where have I been since this place opened? All I can say, were heading back for the crawfish babyeee!!! Everything deserves a five star! The parking lot needs to be packed!!! Stop playing! Dont sleep on Boiling Dragon! Hands down for flavor packing, large portions and a great owner with his staff. Bye! Parking: Located on a shopping strip with enough parking.

This was my first visit to Boiling Dragon. The staff was very nice. We ordered multiple items on this visit. Some items were better than others, but worth giving them another try. The Peking Chicken Bao was absolutely delicious and would go back just for that. I also had the garlic noodles with chicken. I would have liked for the noodles to be a little more juicier with more chicken, but I still liked them. Some liked the eggrolls and some didnt. I dont eat pork, so I cant provide my input. Those that didnt like the eggrolls didnt like the taste of the pork. The Dragon Seafood Fried Rice was liked by everyone. The catfish was not a big hit with the family describing it as fishy. Those who are familiar with the term know what Im taking about. There is an option to add additional items to the Catfish Basket and my family member added the shrimp which was very good. One thing that I must point out is that generous portions are given. You definitely get your moneys worth. Also, when I placed my order in the restaurant, I told the gentleman I would return shortly since it would be about 10-15 to prepare everything. Before I could make it back, I received a courtesy call letting me the order was ready. Thats great customer service.

Have been here a few times in before which was good. However, from my past two visits, I feel like it is starting to get inconsistent. Yesterday, I got the dragon fried rice and egg rolls. The fried rice was way too salty where all you tasted was the salt. The egg rolls were ok. I had to ask them where my egg rolls were 10 minutes after receiving my fried rice and they forgot about it. At least they apologized and brought it out right away after that.
