We liked going here for a while, but over time fewer and fewer trucks were open. They have a kid play area but we showed up after a baseball game for lunch and we were told we could not enter. Makes no sense to have large picnic tables and a kids play area but can t bring a few 10 year olds. Very cool set up, but won t be going back after being sent away.

Came here yesterday around 2:30 pm for the first time and I had a pretty good experience it s an outdoor/indoor environment very clean restrooms, the place itself was very clean tons of seating a good selection of craft beers good selection of cocktails they have I think three or four food trucks on site so you have a variety of food to choose from, so we ended up getting barbecue that was there and we ordered the brisket nachos and I have to say delicious from start to finish brisket was so tender the flavors just came together. I was so full after that I didn t have room for anything else , but I m pretty sure the other food there is quite tasty. Now, the only bad thing about this place is if you come during the summer, you re probably gonna be sweating so just keep that in mind but if that doesn t bother you definitely give them a try. This place is family-friendly and bring the dogs because they re also dog friendly

This is an awesome outdoor bar with a great selection of food trucks! One of my favorite things about Deacon Baldy s is the wide variety of local beers on tap. Also, everyone who works here is extremely friendly with solid customer service. The place can get a bit packed at times but you can normally find a seat. Definitely recommend checking out Deacon Baldy s!

A nice, covered, outdoor only gathering place with lots of beer selections to choose from. The food trucks have good eats but are sometimes slow in preparation. They have wine and cocktails as well but prefer the beer. Large, picnic style tables that are great for big groups. Parking: Limited in the front but more parking in the back and much more parking in the second back lot.

Hip bartenders. Recently they ve introduced cocktails and they are DELICIOUS. Food trucks are excellent. Raise pizza has EXCEPTIONAL gluten-free pizza. I got the jerk chicken and wow, so tasty. Great crust, sumptuous toppings. The owner is also very nice. Crawfish place is also excellent and the owner is very kind as well. This place is great, great concept, great execution. There used to be a sand pit / play area out back for the kids. Now there s nothing out there but astroturf. Kids used to be occupied; it would be ideal if they could do something with that back part as a play area for the kids. This is a family friendly place after all.

Really cool place. Many different types of food. We had the Bar-B-Q Godfather, get the chopped beef sandwich and scratch macaroni and cheese. Or brisket nachos. But they have crawfish, Chinese, tacos, and if your in to craft beers, well you wont find a better set up. Crowd friendly. Baldys is one of my top places to send people to not only eat, but enjoy themselves.

Multiple food trucks with a full service bar. We had the pizza, pepperoni was a little different than what I was used to. It was very good. The drinks were reasonably priced and also very good. The seating is open air picnic tables in a large covered pavilion type area located very near the food trucks.

Okay - I think the general rules need to be established, as well as acknowledgment of the fact that we were there after church on Sunday. Deacon Baldys, by my best estimate, is the bar area itself. The tenders kept the lines moving, and there was typically a line. I wish Id counted the beers advertised; there mustve been close to 50, and though Im a simple, Bud Light kind of beer drinker, it was a great view! So, now the food... There were 5 different trailers there, and 4 were open. Remember, it was a Sunday. Trailer 1 was BBQ, BBQ Godfather I think - It was closed. That kind of hurt my heart. Number 2 was an Asian place that I dont recall the name of, but it looked like mostly messy food, for a messy eater such as me - Ive got menu pics for clarification. Number 3 was a crawfish truck - my neices & family seemed to like them, but sadly, I did not partake. Number 4 trailer was Uncle Tonys Burgers - my wife and MiL had their food and were raving about it. Number 5 was my pick - Raise Pizza & Eats and where I got my pizza from. Simple order done extremely well - as much Peperoni as they felt would work, followed by enough cheese to make it nearly impossible to pull apart. They succeeded! The crust was a little light, but expected with the amount of toppings. All in all, I think it would be a solid 9 out of 10, IMO.

We adore Deacon Baldy s! Bartending staff is friendly and top notch. The clientele is local and cordial. Even the pickiest of beer people will find something new and delicious on tap. They always have a variety of sports on the tv. Bingo night is super fun. And we haven t made it to trivia night yet, but the topics always seem fun. The food trucks are also amazing. The BBQ truck is NEVER open, at least not on any kind of schedule we can figure out, which is frustrating. But it s the best pizza in the area. The burger truck has good burgers; but my fave are the onion straws. And the new Asian food truck is super yummy. We miss the Mexican food truck; but the crawfish one just showed up for season! Most importantly, the side area for kiddos to run wild is perfect. Usually kids of all ages are kicking balls, stacking jenga blocks, and making up games. When the weather is beautiful on weekends it s gets a little wild for the younger kids, but usually, all the parents keep just close enough eye to let them think they re running wild without letting them actually get into problems. We are here entirely too often.

A very cool hang out spot with great beer and lots of selections! However I will not be going back to Uncle Tony s . We waited an hour for our burgers before asking about them. Was told the wind blew the tickets out of order so they ran out of items that we payed extra for and did not make it right, in addition to our burgers being wrong. Waste of a money.

Staff...Ill give them the benefit of the doubt, but they are not that friendly...now they have plenty of screens and when I asked them for the astros game...they simply refused to switch channels. Love coming here and have had great experiences each time. Tonight at 9:30 the employees started cleaning up and we asked what time they closed, he said 10 at the earliest and 11 at the latest. Cool we still had time to wait for our amazing pizza from Raise Pizza and Subs and have some drinks. At 9:45pm the fans got turned off and it became uncomfortably hot. Thats when we got the hint that everyone wanted to be out at 10 and we closed our tab. I will continue to go to this establishment, because its a great place, but thought it was a bit rude of the employees to make everyone uncomfortable so theyd leave. I want to give another shout out to Raise Pizza. They were the only food truck open at 9pm on a Saturday night and knocked it out of the park, with the cannoli, pizza and garlic knots.

Great selection of beer and friendly service. Enjoyed the bbq pulled pork sandwhich. LOVED the pizza truck. Highly recommend the thai pizza. Real ingredients, better than real pizza. I tasted every ounce of love in that pizza. Loved how i didnt feel like complete garbage after I ate one of Rays pizza, unlike dominoes or any other big chain place. Went to Deacons Barbaque for the 1st time. I had the pork ribs and potato salad. Grandson had a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was delicious and just the right amount of seasoning. Give them a solid 9 out of 10. On 1488, just west of Xtreme movie theater. Give them a try! Nice owner too.

Im not sure I understand the concept. Its outside in the heat of Texas. The prices and food are the same as normal restaurants that have air-conditioning and comfortable seating. Theres a dozen restaurants/bars with the same variety of menus without the road noise. In general NO ONE is ever thrilled to be cooking food in the back of a truck which directly correlates to customer service. <Looks around> Good, but not sure why Id ever come back here.

This place is genius! A full bar with plenty of seating for the whole gang (and the dog!), plus award-winning food trucks when youre ready to eat. Open for lunch and dinner six days a week. Fantastic customer service that emanates from the owners. If youre a BBQ fan, be sure to get a bite from the BBQ Godfather. Their ribs and burnt ends are perfectly prepared, and the potato salad is a magical mustard taste treat!

I definitely wasnt expecting what I saw. The Food Truck choices were good. I had a Mushroom Swiss burger from Uncle Tonys. It was pretty good. They had games to keep the kids entertained and plenty of alcohol to choose from. Will definitely be coming back.

Guess you have to get there early to eat anything off the food trucks. Everything was sold out by 8:30 did try some of a buddies funnel cake fries from Uncle Tonys a d they were horrible. Tasted like they cooked them with onion rings. Definitely wont be back
