I visited Market Street East 42nd in Odessa on October 2 at 10:30am. We went to grab something to eat at the food to go section. We approached the counter as they were setting up and nobody even acknowledged us as we were standing there. We had to ask them could they serve us what they actually had out there already and they lady said no, it will be about 30 minutes when we finish setting up. As we go to walk away, an employee by the name of Megan overheard the entire conversation and stopped us and said if there is something there that you want, I will gladly serve you, the ladies there are fairly new and still learning. I just wanted to take MY time as a customer to give a big way to go to Megan for going above and beyond and giving excellent customer service!! Thank you for your great hospitality!! We greatly appreciate you for serving us!!

To my own fault I fell asleep in the Starbucks dining area and after less than ten min I was approached by the GM (presumably) and understandably asked to leave. As Im gathering my things I was asked if I had paid for my ready-made meal that I had bought from HEB up the street (theyre cheaper....like everything). When I replied that it was brought in from elsewhere and challenged him to check the camera his words verbatim were.... Oh the meals we only make here......bullshit. I have come in there daily for about 4 months, never stole anything and never bothered anyone. He did not have to be so rude about it. I was compliant and polite up to his profoundly negative assumption. Other than that the place is ok and the short Hispanic lady who cleans the dining area is really nice.

Super annoying when a self checkout guy is claiming there s a TABC law saying I have to bag my 6 pack of beer. That s an old myth.. I even revisited the TABC page and checked if anything has changed it s not a law please train your employees better wonder what other laws he made up and is trying to enforce

Went in the store, which is always calm and clean after the butcher block had already put meat away, looking at prices, not expecting anyone to be there, but Holly popped her head up and asked me if she could help me, and pulled the meat out and got me the ground beef I needed and didn t act put out, even acted happy to help. Very refreshing. Thanked me and wished md a good evening. Thanks.

I purchased an Amazon gift card from this store and the money was not put on the card but I was given a receipt. I tried calling the store and I can t get through to anyone. 50 dollars is what I paid for the Amazon card and now I m stuck with a card that doesn t work

Be very careful with what you buy here. On the surface, Market Street appears to be a high-end supermarket. However, I ve experienced issues on multiple occasions buying food that was expired. Just yesterday I bought a bag of avocados only to find out when I got home that they re all rotten inside. A month ago, I purchased crepe wraps and as soon as I got home I realized the expiry date was weeks prior to my purchase date. I brought it back and got a refund. HOWEVER, when I went shopping later I found out they STILL kept the expired products on the shelf, after I clearly told them their entire inventory of that product was expired. The person I spoke to about this just didn t seem to care. It s one thing if you make a mistake. It s another thing if a customer points out expired product and you make no effort to remove them from the shelves. I ve never shopped at any supermarket where I had to be so careful in making sure I m not buying expired product like Market Street.

In this place I never find almost anything, they have things located in a difficult way, not even by reading the signs I can find the specific things Im looking for, when I apply for Instacart I try not to take trips to that place, its really uncomfortable I dont know why Ive rejected that place. If they could accommodate it like the H-E-B, it would really save us a lot of work. No matter how many times I go, Im always lost , but hey, its clean, and the service is very good.

My wife just bought a pumpkin pie yesterday, 11/2/23, that was packed same day and it is already molding simply 1 day later. Idk if the labels are lies about the freshness of these pies, but never trusting baked goods from here again which is a shame because we trusted this place before.

I used market street to order my boyfriends cake because I had used one of the market streets in Lubbock to order my sisters gender reveal cake. The one in Lubbock did phenomenal. This one on the other hand did terrible. Only reason I m giving two stars is for affordability. I don t know how they thought this cake was okay to give to a customer. The only reason I kept it is because I picked it up on my boyfriends birthday.

They constantly forget to give me all of my bags at check-out. Ive had to drive back to the store on more than one occasion to retrieve my groceries. Theres also been times when they set aside an item to bag it with similar things; then they forget to actually bag the item at some point. With how expensive this store is, you cant afford to leave anything behind. They will not bother to stop you as youre walking out if they forget one of your bags, or if they leave any of your items un-bagged.
