There are ALWAYS problems with this location. Over half of the stalls are broken constantly and out of order and it is a complete pain trying to order food that then takes far too long to receive.

On August 8, 2024 I went thru the drive Thru and ordered a chicken sandwich and fries and a sweet tea. Also second ordered was a large tater tots and a chery lime made. Paid for my ordered and the guy handed me my drinks when waiting for our food took a drink of my cherry lime made the drink was flat this is not the first time at this location this has happened before. There were two cars behind me when the lady open the window I informed her that my drink was flat and I asked for a lemonade she immediately told me that she would have to charge me because the lemonade cost more like the drink was coming out of her pocket stop.I immediately said to her your going to charge me for anothers drink I told her your soda was flat for this drink she informed me that they dont use soda for cherry lime made. When you look up the Sonic recipe online here is the recipe Lemon-lime soda (sprite or 7-up lime juice ice and grenadine made from pomegranate. She didnt even apologize she said can I make you a soda cherry lime made and she stated that the drink I had they didnt put enough syrup both drinks are still bad after she made the soda cherry lime made and added extra syrup. And she still didnt even apologize I immediately had to throw both drinks in the trash can when I got home. One she needs to work on her customer service skills. This of could gone two different ways like sorry let me make you that lemonade you requested sorry for the inconvenience. And I know she is one of the managers at this location. I will not be back at this one they can keep it. People got to understand in life rating Is a big thing now days it shows your customer service grade and as a company they get one star from me. And they have a 3.3 rating you always want to be at a 5.0 they will never get there from the reviews I see on here sad you think the own would want them to be at a 5.0 to be successful you have to have the right people working the jobs

If 0 stars was possible this location would get it. Yikes Leaks from the ceiling onto the prep table. All the stalls were broken. The drive through was broken. Slushy machine was broken. 30 minutes. 5 people in front of me, I decided to just walk out, and I called main support line after to get a refund. Something is seriously wrong here, whomever runs that store is not really running it.

My wife and I stop here in the morning when we drive to Austin (which is several times a year). The food is always good and the staff friendly. However, the location of the place and its condition make me wonder how it has stayed open. It really needs some upkeep, not to mention the entire shopping center next to which it is located.

Owner of the store is a horrible woman! Retina or wtv her name is. She threatens workers who dont do what she says. She tells them theyll be fired if they dont listen. She threatens to call the cops. My wife and I decided to try this location. That was a big mistake. We ordered an All American Hot Dog and this confused young woman taking our order. She asked us to wait a minute. It probably took her 3-minutes to get back to us. I then proceeded to order my mini Oreo Peanut Butter Shake and a mini Turtle Blast. I had to correct the woman when she repeated the order back to me incorrectly. We pulled around the corner and there were two cars waiting in front of us. I should have trusted my gut and drove off after waiting more than a few minutes. When we pulled up to the window the All American Dog was a Chili Cheese dog. The young man at the window yelled back to the kitchen to fix the issue. I paid and then we waited and waited some more. The young man making our ice cream threatened to quit because the ice cream machine spat ice cream on him. It appears that the cooling was shut off. During this time not a soul came to let us know what was happening. There were at least 2-3 cars behind us in line and 1 in a drive-up. No food or ice cream had left the building. There was one other young woman who came in from the Shell station and went behind the counter and was handling food without gloves, touched her hair and then back to handling food. Another woman, who may have been a supervisor, said it s gonna be awhile for ice cream and then walked away. So when the young man finally brought out the hot dog, I politely declined and request a refund. Again, we waited for someone to figure out how to perform said transaction. When the transaction was refunded, my card was handed out the window with a few receipts. No sorry for the inconvenience or words of any kind. Bottom line: Avoid this location at all costs. Terrible customer service. No management/supervision. Questionable Food-safety and hygiene standards.

Today we thought we try the two for $7, foot longs and an order of onion rings. Well I ve been there before and they mess up my order or took two long but this was the worst. The meat in the hot dogs were raw and the onion ring were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. A total waste of my money. My personal opinion is they need to get rid of the whole staff and start over. If I lived closer I would have gone back for a full refund. No worries not going back to this one again.

I just ordered an ice tea and an ice cream cone. It took them 15 minutes to get it to me. The ice cream cone came out first and then the lady told me that they were out of chicken strips that I ordered. I told her I did not order chicken strips. I ordered a tea then she went to another car and apparently told them when she was passing by. I told her I need some napkins for my ice cream cone, then a guy came out and brought me a tea with no sweetener that was ordered no napkins and no receipt. It does not take 15 minutes to get a medium unsweet tea with two sweeteners and one ice cream cone. The service here is. I am a restaurant owner myself and sonics. My mother and sister and I were just at this Sonic and we were given our drinks, but it was a little mix up. The guy who gave us the drinks give mine to my mother and my mother s to me. Honest mistake. When we called back in to the inside from the speaker at curbside and told them the mix up, the lady volunteered to come out and hear the situation face to face. After explaining the situation the lady gladly took our drinks and said she would re-do them. However, after a few minutes, another lady comes out with our same drinks we just sent in and tells us she s the manager with an attitude and says that there isn t anything wrong with our drinks and that they are right. She seemed as if she wanted a challenge to her seemly right analysis. So again, my mother explained the situation and the managers face fell into understanding, she then agreed she would re-do the drinks. When the drinks came out this time they were given in the correct order. As we left I drank about 4-5 gulps and the drink was gone. So was my mothers. They had filled the drinks with ice almost up to the brim, we never asked for that. It was seemly passive aggressive and mean. The attitude and the incompetence of this Sonic needs to be addressed. We weren t trying to get a refund. We were just trying to get the drinks we ordered and wanted. No need for sass or haughtiness, please, consider situations and act accordingly.

This has got to be the absolute worst sonic in the world. Service is slow, and horrible. It s right by my neighborhood which is why I continued trying with this place. Three out of four times that I go the ice cream machine is broken, sometimes the wait is Over 20 minutes to receive your food. They don t have half of the items on the menu. Customer service is trash! I m not sure who does the hiring here but they should probably be fired themselves. And other people seem to know what s going on and there s usually only one person working. They don t even offer an apology after you ve waited for 20 minutes only to find out there is no ice cream. Its hot, I am on a bike and wanted something cold to drink with a little shade. I pull up to a shaded stall to order and was told to ride through the drive thru because there were no hops. Are they short staffed? That would help if I didnt re-park to drink to only have a car pull up right after me in a stall order and a hop magically appeared and another car pulled up right after. Neither of them were told to go through the drive thru. Yeah biker.. scary. Im a 4 ft 10 female. Not scary at all. I went to this sonic for a cherry limeade and a cup of ice and I thought ordering off the app would make everything easier well I couldn t be any wronger lol. It took 20 minutes to make a drink and a cup of ice and the place wasn t busy maybe they were just low on staff but, 20 minutes really.

Manager at this location call me a customer a liar about my meal clearly my wife and I heard the guy said yes and give me a different order. Then she started to argue about it and I paid for my food I was really nice until she called me a liar really if I could I will put a zero star

I do understand the food here is cheaper .... but persons here super rude !!!!!!! And disrespectful ... why they go to work if they dont like working or even deal with persons, a lady just insulted my husband because we ordered through the stall first then after 20 min they told us to go drive through because they didnt order anything and in the drive through microphone she had us wait long again and my husbamd asked why are they so umprofessional y rude !!! And she says f$^& youuu !!!

So our experience was horrible, there was atotal of 3 customers us included and they still managed to take forever, not only did it take 12 minutes for a burger and cheese sticks they forgot the drink, when we were getting our food they asked us if we needed any sauce, i asked for some ranch one girl who i can only assume was the manager interjected and stopped the girl saying it was already in the bag and she shut the window, the sauce in the bag was marinara, the burger was also wrong, never coming here again

Pulled in. Kiosk not working. No problem. We tried to pull around to another stall. But the drive through line is snarled with traffic and there is no way around...much less out of the parking lot. Went back out the one way entrance and pull into stall on far side. Out of order sign on the kiosk. Moved to another stall. Button worked. After a brief wait voice tells me that they are only serving drive-thru. Cue the irony...as we watch the carhop deliver to a vehicle parked in a stall since we had been there. We laughed...then we left.

Weve been going to this location since it opened and the reviews vary from day to day, week to week, and year to year vary widely. Changes in ownership, management, cooks and high employee turnover (common in food service) should make it harder to trust any one review. Long-time employees Gloria and Diego have been the best of the best when it comes to consistent top-notch customer service and order accuracy. Working full time in any service industry during a pandemic deserves our respect and admiration.

Terrible experience at Sonic today. They made me wait at the order box- so long that the car behind me asked if I had ordered yet. Service was rude. Then got to the window to pay and NO ONE had on a mask - these are the people making the food during a severe COVID outbreak for our area. Asked for the manager and was ignored. Then got my large drink with no ice. Won t be visiting this location again.

Worst sonic location around. It does not matter what time you go, the service is always sub par. This can be everything from long waits to closing early. I would recommend calling before driving over to make sure they are not closed . I have managed several sonic stores and the service and work ethic is appalling. I don t know if it is a corporate or franchise store but I would never allow the type of food and service this location provides. Management and SOP needs to be reworked. Then again, maybe I just held my stores to higher standards.

Waited over 30 minutes for 3 drinks. Would have left but I had already paid. Something was wrong with the slush machine and instead of informing customers they just let me wait. Pushed button to ask why it was taking so long and they tried to have me pay again! Will NEVER be coming back here.

Ive given this Sonic location a couple of chances and have been disappointed both times. Now look, I dont expect a fast-food chain to necessarily have their A-Team working on Sunday at 4:40pm, but Ive been to my share of Sonic Drive-Ins, and what Ive come to expect from my hundreds of Sonic experiences is the standard to which I hold them. This Sonic location is either understaffed or undertrained. They are always very slow at getting a line of cars through their Drive-Thru. Today I ordered a chili-cheese coney. When I finally got my food, I looked in the bag and noticed exactly zero napkins. Tell me, who in this universe doesnt need a dozen napkins when eating a chili-cheese coney?! I asked for napkins, she gave me two napkins, and then she asked is that enough? Obviously two napkins are not enough, and while I appreciate her asking, my social energy was already depleted from having asked for napkins, so I just said yes. Then after leaving, I pulled out the contents of the bag only to find that the plastic fork that comes with every coney at Sonic was INSIDE THE CONEY WRAPPER. So the plastic bag holding the fork had chili and cheese all over it. What a genius idea, putting ones utensils directly on the food to ensure maximum mess and need of napkins -- not to mention the gross-factor. Sonic holds a special place in my heart. I hope we can all find a way forward that will ensure continued business and a better experience for all. Come on, Sonic. Please do better. EDIT: A Second Visit: This was actually probably my 4th or 5th visit to this particular Sonic. It was on Mothers Day, May 9 2021. As I often am on Sunday afternoons, I was in severe need of any sort of pick-me-up. I stopped by this Sonic location, setting all my fears aside, allowing myself a glimmer of naïve optimism despite all the past trauma. I wanted nothing more than a medium cherry limeade. No food. So I pulled up to the drive-thru and waited. After a minute of total silence from the intercom, I said hello, hoping to wake up whatever napping employee might be on the other side. No response. So I pulled up to the window where I saw no one inside and lights off. No sign indicating a change of hours or a sudden emergency closure. No signs of life except for a strange man sitting at one of the tables outside. Let me just say that Sonic is lucky I wasnt a mother seeking a special Mothers Day meal from Sonic that day. And if I were a mother, and Sonic Drive-In were my child, I would be ... very disappointed in you.

Drove up to the drive thru and was told they were closed. Drove up to the drive in stall and was told to go through the drive thru. A lady with dark hair was really rude when taking my order, we drove off and went to the location in Rosenberg. Best service in Texas!

This location must have made some good changes in staffing. In the past you were luck to get the correct order. On one visit I found that they left the meat off a burger. The orders are now correct and the staff members are friendly. Whatever they have done is working.

I drove by later in the evening. The staff was just as friendly and as helpful as if it were broad daylight. The food was delicious and brought out in a timely manner. When I asked for extra sauces, they definitely delivered. I am very happy with this location and would highly recommend it!
