The food was great, the servers were young. The mistake made on my first ever patronage to this place was minor but the biggest issue was that the interior seating area was loud and echoing. I sat outside because of crying and loud children was too much with how the seating area echos so all of the sound was intensified. Overall still a positive experience because the food was super delicious! My 2 tacos were the Republican and The Hogfather. Both were the right size to leave me feeling full and not craving more dinner.

As much money as I have spent in this place the last two months, you figure they would be better. Ordered trashy trailer park and it had lettuce on it and I told him it doesn t come with lettuce, he wanted to argue with me and said I was wrong. Very sarcastically Hmmm. The tacos were tasty, although it s been awhile since we ate at an Austin location to compare between. The star deductions are for the extreme uncleanliness in the Ladies bathroom. The toilet paper that was inside the circular plastic case was entirely damp throughout the roll. I have never seen that and am not sure I want to know the backstory there. Next, the paper towels were overflowing the trash. Finally, there were chunks of food, possibly spit up/vomit in the sink. This was discovered in the same bathroom visit. Also- Tipflation. The staff was friendly, however, the default suggested tips were way out of line for a mostly self-service restaurant. We ordered at the counter, they brought food to us, and then we do our own trash cleanup. Restaurants need to pay their staff a higher salary or lower default tip options at fast casual venues.

We really like Torchy s Taco. My only concern is the price. They are great tasting but something I save for a special event. Would recommend the democrat taco. It s a family favorite. Atmosphere is really great. We ve never been to a busy Torchy s which may explain the prices, but they are yummy!

Exceptional service!! I have the Tacos Junkies rewards. I went to use my free taco reward before it expires in a few days. This is my first time using my rewards. I asked for a taco that was on the secret menu. The nice woman who helped me was not entirely sure if I would be able to use it on a secret item taco. Well, turns out you can only use it on the menu u item tacos. She went and got the manager, Matt who advised that it is only for menu item tacos. However, he was going to go ahead and give me the secret menu taco on the house. To me, that is excellent customer service. That is how you take care of the customer and have repeat customers. Thank you again for excellent service. The food was delicious (as always).

The consistency in their excellent staff training shines brightly, and Karissa, our bartender for the third or fourth round of visits, not just drinks! kept the standard flying high. Her blend of professionalism and infectious enthusiasm makes our AM indulgences exceptionally memorable. Karissa not only remembers our favorite morning libations but also introduced us to the Tokyo Drifter oh boy, was that an amazing recommendation! Her consistently stellar service, along with the friendly staff, creates the welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back to Torchy s. I tried just about everything on the menu. The kids menu items suck. But, the regular menu is pretty good. My fave is the chicken fajita. One thing I wish they had was a picadillo (beef) taco. But they dont have any regular beef tacos unless you order from the kids menu. And like I say, the kids menu items are just not up to par. Thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Prime example of how growth stunts quality and execution. Maybe I m biased but it never tastes as good outside of Austin city limits. That or they are cutting corners. I had the pork taco for the first time here. The flavor was outstanding, and the salsa was amazing! Tacos come on corn tortillas, only problem is that they are not homemade. Most of our Mexican style taco places (even fast food, in SA and New Braunfels) have both homemade corn and flour tortillas. I believe this restaurant originated in Austin, so to me that is a little north of were we are used to homemade tortillas in our restaurants. They have fresh brewed tea, which I always appreciate. I want to try the famous queso next time I come. I would recommend you try it for something different. Wheelchair accessibility: All tables can have chairs moved. No problem entering or ordering, lots of room.

This location has been pretty solid so far with my orders. Nice clean dine-in and friendly cashiers. The tacos are pretty good but not as great or awesome as the College Station location. I always recommend getting the Thrashy Trailer Park as a must and their Queso & Chips. These items are their classics. The only issue is their tortillas sometimes taste lukewarm.

I got the house margarita on the rocks and beef fajita tacos. My fiance got the trailer park taco. His fried chicken was dry. The toppings for our tacos were cheese, peppers, and onions, and they were fridge-cold. The peppers and onions were steamed, not grilled. Our tortillas were clammy and doughy. We also had the queso and chips. The chips were salty, crunchy, and good, but the queso was barley warm. The chips were hot. I was disappointed because the beef fajitas were too salty. They were saltier than the tortilla chips.

This was not for me . The food was not bad, but not what I was hoping for the service was excellent, like always in New Braunfels . Overall, this place is a cool hangout for adults they did have a kids menu, but it was not very kid friendly .

Food is great, but menu isn t vegan friendly. Why must the pinto beans have dairy when there s no other bean option? Vegetarian options: Only bean option contains dairy.

Hands down best queso anywhere! Also a huge fan of Tipsy Chicken and Fried Avocado tacos. Your staff is unfailingly efficient, friendly and totally customer-service oriented

Its always fast, fresh, and great service. Fresh, filling but light food. I ordered a three tacos, two fried avocado and one beef. All perfectly tasty!!! Food : 5/5
