If it were possible to give zero stars I would. This law office is absolutely horrific. They prey on demographics that have limited income. They tell you that they have your best interest but in reality will put you on a payment plan then do whatever they can to extend your case so they can keep charging you. I could put -5 stars, this character is a scammer, she makes contracts that she then doesnt fulfill and she charges you a lot of money and she takes expenses out of her pocket contract for $8,000 paying $1,200 per fortnight but she extends it so much and even charges for breathing that when we had to go to the The court asked to make another contract because according to her the money had already run out and she lied that the courts were closed that is why the divorce did not come out until one of her henchmen told us that we had a stop for non-payment and we were Ovando on time . She told us if you want a divorce it will be $8,000 plus you give me half now and the rest in payments I wait until the $4,000 is paid to send the papers to the court and then on court day she and the judge apparently agreed and they said something was wrong and they changed the court date and now that we have paid everything they tell us that we owe them $3,000 more and that we have to pay them. You and your people are thieves and scammers. Keep in mind that the other person in the divorce didnt even fight for anything, he just didnt go or answer, he just wanted a divorce as soon as possible and this lady scammed us because she is a thief.

Highly unethical. Seek counsel elsewhere to save time, money, and stress. I did not get a lawyer when going through my divorce. The custodial parent does not let children use their phone and keeps up the drama during drop off and pick ups. I paid 10k for representation to Mrs. Franco and law team to try help put an end to the parent isolation through an enforcement regarding weekly phone calls and negative behavior around pick up and drop offs by picking them up and dropping them off to school. I paid 2.5k down and 1.25k a month until a balance of 10k was met. I have a record a of 3 communications from the law regarding my case throughout the 6 months of supposed representation. My case never even saw the inside of the courtroom But 10k of hard earned money was mishandled. Beware seek counsel elsewhere. Please, read the other simular post and consider.

I filed a contempt of court Motion on the NCP with Laura Franco but she passed me along to another attorney in her office after taking 10k from me to represent me. A few months went by and when I finally got my day in court, my attorney Keith Nguyen never answered a single one of the judges questions, he would not listen to me even when I knew the answers to the judges questions because he did not. Him listening to me would have changed the ruling in my case. My attorney just said NOTHING. You will see. The transcript is short. We were there for less than 9 minutes. It was thrown out for the charges being vague. They weren t vague. My attorney would have not lost had he just said, your honor the answer to your questions about page 19 and 20 can be found on page 21 and 22. My attorney must have never opened my case file until the day of the trial. Everything was prepared by the firms paralegals. I received ineffective counsel

In all honesty, don t risk it. Spoke with a guy named Roman and Laura Franco about a habeas corpus to be filed by the Friday of the same week. I understood the process of being granted a default order so we were trying to get it filed prior to a motion to set aside being filed.They assured me that it was possible, Roman had prayer over the phone with my mom, and even said if the service wasn t able to be done by that time, Laura would represent me by asking the Judge to stand on his original default judgement awarding me primary custody. Laura Franco assigned an assistant attorney/paralegal to do her work and she missed the date by a week. Apologized and then filed several days later. The motion to set aside had already been filed. They continued to take funds out even after it was legally impossible to do what they were hired for. They refused to return money after charging excessive fees. Upon canceling contract they admitted they were in the wrong but Roman continued to contact me trying to build a case to prevent me from getting unused funds back. Loss of over $3000 for a habeas that didn t go through! Complete display of unethical actions.

Clearly when your lawyer says to you they dont know anything about your case is the worst sign you could get. Thats unprofessional. Even more to not listen to your client and to not help with the order. To tell me that even if I dont sign it the judge will and continue to act unprofessional. This law office is extremely unprofessional. So many different paralegals assigned to my simple standard temporary order but in the end my lawyer isnt changing the order or helping me. Just makes me livid and extremely angry. Explain again to me how you will not take care of my case because it is probono. Please explain why youre not helping my daughter because youre probono. I hired this lawyer to maintain custody of my youngest son, CPS gave him to me when he was 7 months old and the mother wants to take him away from me. I paid the lawyer 5,000 dollars, she told me that with this we resolved the case, I have not yet gone to the first hearing and she is asking me for 5,000 more to continue because according to her, the first 5,000 have already been spent and that I owe her 2,000 more dollars on top of that. that she also spends making payments, it is absurd that they have spent 7,000 dollars when I have not even gone to the first court, the truth is that I do not recommend this firm because they will end up stealing your money and it will not solve anything

Do NOT use this attorney. Makes you feel guilty and sign bad deals. She starts off acting like she got you back, as soon as u make that deposit it becomes All about money. Intentional Prolongs cases. And destroys all ur files when you switch lawyers. I have a lawyer who actually fight cases and knows the law and now my divorce case which lasted almost a year is now at a close. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM unless you have money to waste.

I did not select this lawyer, but I wish I had the funds to do so. Im only putting 4 stars because I did not obtain their full services. I feel I need to experience the full ride. I LOVE how welcoming and professional this law firm is. I was not treated as another number. They had this get ready to go vibration. It was like they were ready to tackle whatever needed to be handle in my personal situation. Laura and her team are prompt, responsive, and will not be satisfied until you walk out of your divorce happy. I highly recommend speaking with them and if you have to funds for their services you will not be disappointed. They also offer a payment plan. I went with another firm simply for financial reason and because my ancestors told me to.

Mrs.Franco and her team Ms.Sheree and Johnathan are great they worked very hard to get what I wanted and more. They worked with me financially. And Mrs.Franco stayed all day in court with me. I was referred to Ms Franco by a friend, and I needed someone to get me through an uncontested divorce as quickly and painlessly as possible. She was very helpful, and only one visit to her office was required. She sorted through all our financial issues, and she made me feel she was guaranteeing that the financial split was fair. The divorce was relatively painless, and I am grateful to her. I would recommend her to my friends :)

When I first went in to speak to her she made me feel like she understood what I was going through and was going to do everything she could for me. It quickly became all about money and even almost didn t show up to my mediation unless I paid her that day by 5PM even though I gave more than half and promised to make the payment that Friday as I have shown I always was making my payments to her in a very timely manner. She never made me feel comfortable or like I had a chance and ended up causing me to agree to something that hurt me more than anything. I finally left and have been stressing WAY less with someone who I feel is fighting for me not just trying to find ways to overcharge me. First going in she made it seem as she never charges for every little penny to having a charge because I called for an explanation of a charge I didn t understand. PLEASE do not waste your time or money with someone you will not feel confident going to court with. I found a lawyer that allowed me to have confidence going to court when I know the dad had nothing on me but the fact I moved a few times and I am a great mom, all Laura Franco did was make me feel like I was going to lose my son.
