OMG! Where do I begin! Ill start from the beginning: check in was great! The 2 guys at the desk were very polite. They took their time with each and every customer. They didnt rush! I give THEM 5 stars. NOW... got on the elevator in the garage and it was disgusting! The lights didnt work, there was only 1 bulb that worked. The covers over the lights were dirty, very disgusting. Got to my room, opened the door and was hit smack in the face with the strongest mold smell I have ever smelled. It was hard to breathe. Ive stayed in MANY beachfront hotels and have never had such a strong smell of mold. The popcorn ceiling was coming off in sections. The remote to the TV didnt have the cover for the batteries. In the sink area, no trash can. The only trask can was by the door. Around the light switches, nasty, disgusting, dirty! All it would take is a rag and cleaner! The paint around the toilet was bubbled, indicating water leak!! Probably why it smells so bad of mold! The blow-dryer didnt work and the prongs on the plug almost came off in the socket. The toilet paper holder had a lock on it!! Like if you were in a public bathroom at a gas station. Between the bed & nightstand, looked like it hadnt been vacuumed EVER! Walking from the pool up the steps towards the front of the hotel, the handles came off the wall! The steps had trash all the way up, trash everywhere. I have no idea how this is rated a 3 star hotel. I work in the corporate off of a high end Hotel Owner/Management company. We own & manage Embassy Suites, Doubletrees, and Extended Stays, all across the US, Japan, & Canada. There is no way this is a 3 star hotel.

It was an amazing stay!! Rooms: Rooms were good! Nearby activities: We walked up and down the Sea Wall to the food places. Safety: Stay on the sidewalk youll be fine cross at the crosswalks youll do fine. Walkability: Everyone walks the strip! Its amazing!! Food and drinks: All the food was so good. There are plenty of dishes and restaurants to choose from.

Please do not make the same mistake I did and not read the reviews before booking here! Run from this place and don t look back! The website is very misleading making people believe it is a recently remodeled hotel and it is far from that. There is nothing positive to say about this place! The first room I was given when I walked into it my head instantly began to hurt due to the odor of mold/mildew. The ceiling had several spots with black mold growing. There was dried food or something even more disgusting on the walls along with holes. The bathroom was disgusting as well. When I went down to ask for another room the guy didn t act concerned at all and just moved me to another room without any questions. That let me know that this is an everyday occurrence for him. He said he upgraded me to an ocean view room and guaranteed the room was clean. Well it was not clean nor an ocean view! I literally sat on the bed and was scared to walk around due to the condition. Not only was it filthy including the towels, the door lock/latch was not functioning properly and there was not a safety latch on the door. The halls and elevators were gross as well and probably never been cleaned or maintained. The elevator was like riding Tower of Terror at Disney with the dropping and jerking it was doing!!! Not safe at all! Then the stairwells were full of dead bugs and heavy urine odor! I did speak with the Manager who was polite and seemed to care but this is not an overnight fix, the place needs loads of TLC!! I could go on and on about what a nightmare of a place this was! But I m warning you DO NOT STAY here!!!

Oh man .where do I begin .Black mold on ceiling above bed and bathroom, mold on refrigerator door, mold on lampshades, beds were made up with wet sheets, lights in room, lampshades were off when we arrived, broken elevators, poor property maintenance, there are a lot of birds on property and of course they poop on the handrails and those handrails are not being wiped off near enough! Not enough towels and on and on. I used to be a maid in a hotel and I know the maids have a certain amount of time to clean rooms so it cane difficult if people are pigs, so maybe they are understaffed or something. Check in when we got there was fine, a nice larger man, but the rest of the staff at front desk were more concerned with socializing. Breakfast would have been better if the food was more than barely warm. The only thing that was hot was the gravy for the biscuits and gravy. Sausages undercooked!!! And about the biscuits, super dry and hard. I ve had biscuits at other hotel breakfasts and they don t taste like that. The chairs are really dirty in the cafeteria also(whatever designer chose fabric for chairs in a cafeteria setting was a poor choice, hard to clean) the light above the waffle station needs cleaning, the yellow cones put out warning of a wet floor all need serious wipe down. But on a good note I saw no roaches and the Texas shaped waffles were a cute touch. I liked also that it was one of the only pet friendly hotels. Rooms: See above. Food and drinks: Food not warm enough and coffee carafes in lobby were continuously all empty. Front desk staff could be checking them in ther down time but instead just reply it s the kitchen staff job , when you notify them they are empty.

Stayed in a handicap room that we made reservations for only to have the adjoining room, smoking marijuana continuously in our room being filled with the Fumes. Talk to the people at the desk several times about it. They went to the room, but I m assuming told the lady we complained because she made a comment to me. Left for dinner came back once again. The room was filled with marijuana fumes. Heavyset man at the desk did nothing. I asked him to come smell the room and he said it was a safety issue. The safety issue was there was no elevator, no lights down by the rooms and the drug use. We have been coming here for a very long time and this is the first time we feel unsafe here. Sent him a message and got a response that said thank you for your kind words. Please leave us server review so here it is. Safety: Safety was a big issue. It was pitch black in the hallways, no elevators and no ice machines. Adjoining room smoked their marijuana all night, putting the fumes into our room. Hotel Did nothing but offer Air freshener.

Unexpected to find this hotel by the beach. Price was good with friendly staff everywhere. Rooms: Two queen size beds were nice. The bathroom and sink were clean. The floor was clean to walk barefoot. Standard everything else was good Nearby activities: The Gulf of Mexico just across the street is easy to get to. Many food establishments nearby.. Safety: Everything secured well and lighted areas were good. Walkability: Street has wide sidewalks to the Gulf of Mexico just across the street is easy to get to. Many food establishments nearby. COCKROACH INFESTATION: 9/13/24 Highly suggest if you love being clean & would like to take your belongings home DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! severely roach infested. We didn t even stay, we changed out of our wet bathing suits and bagged them but left one out, went to go get food and came back and the roaches imbedded theirselves into that bathing suit. Tried to get a refund and they are refusing. I don t understand how this place is still open and still getting booked. Photos are taken from video.

So I don t even know we re to begin here. Black mold in the bath room dirty sheets dried on vomit on the walls and floors are room smelling like dog piss. Long hair all over the room. Used hand soap bar. Having to go back down to the front desk just to request towels for our room. And When it rains, it also rains in your room. The amount of trash left behind ever Nightstand and dresser. Key cards having to be Reactivated every day. The light above the bathroom mirror hanging by electrical wireless. And tap. If you would like to have your room cleaned daring your stay. You have to call in advance to Requested service before checking in. Both Elevators were out of service. When we were checking out we had asked to Speak with a manager. We were told she was too busy to To speak with us. Over all are stay was not Pleasant. The staff Seemed as if they had heard all this before and had stopped caring a long time ago. I know this is just a review but I would most definitely recommend you not stay at Palm Beach hotel Safety: Black mold in rooms exposed electrical wires.

Don t get deceived by the location and save your money. The sheets were dirty with stains and there was black hair all over the sheets. There was roaches and the place was just not clean at all. The shampoo and conditioner were empty. The front desk people are kind and welcoming. The only good thing about this is the hotel is it s right next to the beach. They do have breakfast which is good. I did contact the manager and showed picture she said a follow up would be conducted and to this day no follow up has been conducted but full payment was taken.

We made the mistake and booked this hotel. The room was clean but we had many issues. First of all my wife is disabled and one or both of the elevators was always out. The front desk does not answer the phone and isnt helpful at all. I could go on but the bottom line is this hotel is not worth the hassle.

The location was amazing but the hotel itself boasted about being newly remodeled. It was dingy, dark and underwhelming to say the least. Two beds (four people occupancy) came with a singular bath towel. No hand towels or anything else. The lamp shade was burnt or moldy, couldnt tell which. Altercations in the parking lot which appeared to be between long time residents of the hotel. We werent expecting extended stay conditions or the filthy parking lot and hotel grounds. Trash all over stair wells, over flowing where there were trash cans and trash littered all over parking lot.

Affordable hotel on Seawall Blvd. Visited in a Tuesday and Wednesday night. (Rates for weekend triple.) Great rate for Galveston. Plus free self serve breakfast from 7am to 10am. Parking is free. Views shown in photos...yes you can see the ocean. But also businesses, power lines, parking lot, a cemetery. The most convenient elevator is broke...since some Hurricane. Check in via a Kiosk...the floating head I call it. No smoking in hotel or balcony. Have a designated smoking area. Pool was open. Ice machine only in hotel lobby. AC in room worked very well...could hang meat inside it was so cold. Ocean just across the road. Next to Pier 61 fishing pier. Near San Luis Resort. Cable TV in room but no telephone. Nice sized mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.

This was an amazing deal! I booked through a third party site and our room was a$75 with tax and fees. It is extremely well located right across the street from the beach. It shows a little wear and tear but the rooms were clean and the sheets comfy. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is good. Definitely would stay here again.

This place is horrible! We paid $444 for 2 nights for a room with 2 queen beds. The room and the hallway have roaches. The room has mold everywhere including the phone, lamp shades, ceiling, and mattress. It s dirty and filthy for the price we paid. Story time!! Me and my wife came 2 days before our cruise so we looked up this place it looked nice!! But trust me all the pictures had to be when it first opened up!!! Cause soon we got here the place looked off!! Get to the main entrance it s only one way in cause the other doors do not work!! Only one elevator with no A/C so it s hot as hell and small!!! Get to the room it s a sink full of dirty water!!! Roaches and spiders!! And the floor nasty!! On top of that the shower would not drain and get this they had no face towel at all so you had to wash up with hand towels!!! Get back to the parking area and see a door wide open with guess what dirty face towels!!! The pool area is dirty!! It s just nasty all over!! Run don t walk away from this place and don t go to the one next door it s it s ran by the same people it s trash I would give it zero if I could but I can t!!

This place is advertised as a Hotel, but it s not! It s a Motel. Tv didn t work, no back on remote to home batteries in, not sure batteries even worked. Flours super sticky!! Told family do not take shoes off in here: my 9 yr got a rash from the bed. Didn t use pool, or swim in ocean. We all refused to shower in it! Towels stink, black hair all over towels, things hanging by 1 strew on walls, no one would answer phones. No way to lobby at night. Terrible!! Dogs barking in room next door. I have pics. The only good thing about this place is the location. Staff was nice upon arrival but to have help with anything they are a nightmare. Room was dirty - there was mold, rust, hair, etc. There was only 1 working elevator. No ice makers or vending machines. Oh & don t worry they love to allow homeless people sleep on the property! We notified the front desk 3 times about a homeless person sleeping by our door & it was not addressed until the 4TH TIME. They supposedly called the cops finally. How hard is it to take some accountability? Have some respect for your customers. The reviews are REAL, do not waste your money & time!

They ask if I wanted a full view. I said yes, if it were beach I was paying extra for. It was a full view of the pool. I had 2 towels when I checked in. I asked for towels and wash clothes, was told they could give me dirty ones. Dirty, landscape was way overgrown, and no one knew what the other was doing. I thought Id have to provide a sacrifice to get a box of kleenex. Not on my list to do again. BUT, it is across the road from the beach!

This was a disaster! Our room wasnt ready to check into, then it wasnt what we booked. The front desk seemed to have no way to help make it right, so I had to fight more than an hour to get a refund and move hotels. It was not clean or well staffed, but it would have been a great location to stay at that is close to amenities.

I m only giving this place 1 star because you can t give 0. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT is an understatement. For starters who does a 4pm check-in? I checked several times to see if our room was ready for early check in due to us traveling with a baby. The room wasn t clean each time. Finally after 4 it was and HAD been ready for a while. We get to our room and the door knob was stuck. I had to force it to get the door open. Immediately the smell of mold and mildew hit me in the face. The room was tiny, their renovations included painting the room but not moving furniture. There was overspray on the furniture. The bathroom ceiling had water damage and I m sure so much more did as well. There were stains on the walls that were questionable. First morning we walk out and there are dead roaches everywhere. Another patron said they were so big in his room be jokingly said he bought them collars. In the lobby there were smaller roaches climbing on the coffee counter/in and out of the trash. My baby was bit by something on his face/back while in bed that night. The ice machine is rusted and doesn t work. The vending area was just gross and elevators were out of order. For the price I paid, this place needs to step up their game. We survived the trip but we definitely won t be going back.

This hotel is so nasty. There is trash and broken glass all over the grounds. The room smelled like pee walking in. We were given 2 towels and one wash cloth for 3 guest. There are roaches in the room! There are two elevators on the property and only one works. I m pretty sure this one elevator has never been cleaned. The pool is so dirty you can t even see the bottom and at night with the pool lights on the water looks brown. I do not recommend this place!

Doris c She is a very nice person, always with a smile, she assists you and with that at the beginning she is very pleasant. The hotel is a hotel that meets the expectations of the price, if you like something better you need to pay double or triple to receive five-star service. There are no five stars here, but it is very nice and a very good place near the beach for what you pay the price. The truth is that you receive more for the price. The staff is very nice, they never look at you badly and it is very comforting. The truth is that in order not to be stars, it is in excellent condition. Horrible Customer Service at front desk. Was always interested in her phone conversations instead of helping the customer. Horrible etiquette and lack of any sense of professionalism. We reserved the king bed room with ocean and pool view and the 2 queen with pool view. The Hotel might be newly updated, but you wouldn t be able to tell it looks worn down still. The rooms are very small the bathroom is very small . The rooms have weird smells, the walls are paper thin. We came stayed Monday - Thursday and there s been construction work the whole time!! It s so loud and consistent there is no peace. Also the elevator doesn t work so gotta walk around to get to the one that does and the one that does is crazy hot. This hotel is old and is not very well kept up. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not; they were very broken down. Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell - like a closed up room. We figured it was just because it was an older hotel and it needed to air out a little. I noticed that the large window over looking the pool was VERY dirty. I used paper towels to wipe it down so we could see out of it. There was no suitcase stand to put the bag on so we used the small table. In the bathroom, I found hairs (long dark hair as well as smaller curly hair) in the bathtub and on the floor. Then, I noticed hair and dirt on the back of the toilet. There were no wash rags or face towels in the room; only 2 bath towels. We went back to the desk and got the needed towels and rags and I used one to clean the tub, toilet, sink area and wipe the surfaces of the furniture in the room. It was dirty after that. We had family staying in a different room so we decided that we would stay here and just deal with it since the room seemed to be okay otherwise. Then...I found the dead roach. To their credit, I didnt find any live roaches, but... We were going to go get a bite to eat and I was going to put some things in the safe in the room but it appeared to be broken/locked. I asked my husband to call the front desk and we discovered the phone didnt work. Ugh! Okay, whatever - lets just make the best of it. We left to go to dinner and the door wouldnt lock - what the heck?? - then we discovered that the handle stuck in the open position and you had to jiggle and wiggle it to get it to close properly so the lock would catch. Okay...just one more thing. Lets keep going. The rest of the trip was uneventful and we had a good time with our family. When we checked out, I gave a list of the issues to the manager and talked through the list with her. I was polite and told her You cant fix it if you dont know whats broken; we had a nice conversation. Fast forward to a few days later at home. I was balancing my checkbook and I had a charge for $4.60 from the hotel. Whats this for??? I called to hotel to find out what it was because nothing should have been out of sorts. I was informed that this was a Safe Charge - a fee charged for use of the safe in the room. Yes, a locked safe in the room - one that I COULD NOT use. I was told it was on the paperwork that I signed (my bad - I should have read ALL the print) and that, since I did not use the safe the money would be refunded in 5-10 business days. How did they know I didnt use the safe you ask? Oh...because if I had used the safe, I would have had to call the front desk and they would send someone to unlock it. But wait! I cant call the front desk - the phone doesnt work!!! So now, I have to check the bank for the next 5-10 days to see if the money is refunded and if it isnt, I have to call them back. NEVER AGAIN!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!! THIS IS AN AWFUL EXCUSE FOR A HOTEL!! Do your research - there are better, cleaner, more comfortable hotels all across the island and they dont charge bogus fees. I would definitely not stay here again. Toilet was not cleaned, only 2 towels in the room. No hand towels or wash cloths. There was blackmold and bubbling on the ceiling above the bed. And hair stuck to the bottom of the tub. The only good i can say about this place was their breakfast, not to bad the only thing that would made it better was country gravy to put on the biscuits. Nearby activities: All the gifts shops are close. Kroger and Walmart are also a short walk. Walkability: Beach is right across the street.

Im writing this review after staying here for 3 nights. Im awake about to go to sleep and I see something huge crawling across the ceiling. I turned on all the lights and now Im freaking out at all the enormous cockroaches all over the walls and ceilings. I will never be back!!! Other things to note. Staff were great but Im leaving in the morning so they dont know about my issue with the roaches and its past 10pm so the lobby is closed. Im not sure how they would have resolved my issue. The microwave is broken (see photo) I used the gym everyday and enjoyed it. The breakfast is not very good at all but I am thankful they had one. The water fountains dont work and the only ice available is in the lobby. The walking distance to the beach is great. Rooms: Cochroach infested. Enormous cockroaches that fly!

In Galveston for a cruise. With the post hurricane issues they were having our room in West Houston was canceled. Had to struggle to find another one as most were shut down due to no electricity. We managed to find a room at beachfront palms hotel. Typically rated as a two-star but was maybe a little better than that. Rooms seem to be repainted and in decent repair. But like I said two or three star hotel. Price was high because they could charge what they wanted due to the conditions of no electricity in Houston or Galveston. For the most part. They had power so we stayed. Not a place I would normally stay but it was suitable for a one-night stay.

On Tuesday, July 9th, had to try & find a motel/hotel due to no power as of Monday, July 8th. Drove from 103rd street west stopping at each seeking a room for 2 adults & a small dog. When I stopped at Beachfront Palms Motel on 59th & Seawall, I went in & was told by Chris at the Front Desk she had a room & they accept pets with a deposit. Chris was the most personable, calm soft spoken, whom you could tell respected & welcome each potential guest then I have had the pleasure of meeting. During our stay here which is indefinite till we can get power, each time Ive come down with questions, Chris had the welcoming personality I encountered upon check in. I suggest to stay at this motel & from the time you check in then out, please ask for Chris. In Chris future, she will be an excellent hotel manager for whichever hotel that has the fortune to have her working for them & all their potential guests.

Definitely, its not what you would expect for a 3-star hotel. The staff was very kind, but the facilities are in very poor condition and the room stinks. Also it has old and ripped bed sheets, saggy pillows, theres no hand towels, they dont collect the trash and everything looks old, dirty and rusty. They say they have an indoor pool, thats not true. You would look over those things, but not when you pay $900usd for 2 nights stay. We definitely wont go back.

This is on a great location near to the pier and restaurants along the beach. Close to Walmart and Kroger across the street with a Starbucks. The only bad about this place the internet is very busy, slow and/or no contection in the rooms. Had to use my hot spot for my computer. They have a computer for guest but no privacy in the lobby.

This weekend, I and my bf decided to go to Galveston. We go at least once or twice a month and wanted to try out the Beachfront Palm Hotel 5914 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77551. It definitely needed to be updated but didn t look too bad based off the pictures. But our room smelled like mold and looked a little too dingy. It was the worst experience I ve had since being able to book hotels. Our 2-night room was gross and even woke up to a big crawling on our face in the middle of the night. The front desk was aware and not much was done. Our first night the shower was not cleaned at all. I m disgusted and I m sure losing one customer isn t a problem but this is unacceptable. Shouldn t be allowed and most of all the hotel and company should be ashamed for the price it had per night and the rooms it was willing to give out. The view is subpar compared to other hotels that have the same dollar amount per night. Will make sure to recommend to stay away from here. Edit: still haven t received a refund of any kind. It s always a back and fourth. Glad to see they didn t really care.

Definitely no more than a two star hotel. (Staff is friendly) lets start on that positive note. The website will tell you it was updated in 2010 or so, other than some fresh paint in places and the attractive lobby, Im just dont see it. Only working ice machine I found was in the lobby. Felt like I was breaking the door just to get in and out of my room. Once youre in the room youll find out there are no towels, you have to request them in the lobby. I could look past all this if they were significantly cheaper than other places, they are not. One last item, the website says they have an outdoor as well as an indoor pool, not true. Outdoor only, with supposedly access to the Quality Inn pool next door, our room key didnt work.

This hotel is truly a 3 star rating. A girl at the front desk was rude saying she doesnt know when our room would be ready and to call a 401 number. We left and came back to check into our room. It looked nice but the floor was dirty! I walked around the room barefoot and my feet were black! The shelves and counters were dirty, the bathtub floor was yellow!! I had to put a towel on the floor just to shower, There were red stains behind the bathroom door, a big crack on the bathtub wall and hair on the bath towels!!! Thank god nothing was wrong with bed. The hangers in the closet were literally locked and couldnt take them out to hang clothes which was ridiculous. The fridge worked partially cause it didnt keep our drinks all the way cold and the ac was good but it keeps turning off and on. Good thing i brought my own hair dryer because the one they had was disgusting! Dirty! And had dirty stuff in it! And there were roaches in the halls!! This hotel gave us nothing but lies from the start and we did not like staying here at all. If we could get our refund we would have went somewhere else. The pictures on the website are not true, printing out our reservation for our room was a lie eventhough the website said you must print it out and bring in person or else you wont get your room, there is no such thing as ocean view like we requested because the only view we got was the kroger parking lot next door, there was no indoor pool because the pool was next door at the other hotel across the street, like wth is that?? This place sucks! The only good thing was the free breakfast and the bed. We only sticked it out cause we were staying 2 nights. For a birthday vacation this hotel was really dissapointing.

1st, its a motel not a hotel, the rooms are smaller than the picture makes it look, you gotta play with the door to close it, the vending machine and ice machine are both out of order but no signs are posted, use at your own risk, the bathroom floor and shower are gross, the shower head and sink faucet are both about to fall off, the sink is already clogged, the bed sheets dont feel clean, at least 1 towel has a hole in it, and the cieling looks like it might have water damage. Seems overpriced for $200 On the bright side I dont think there are bed bugs here but I also havent gone to bed yet so I have my fingers crossed, the locks work, the outlets work, the tv works, the fridge/freezer work and the chairs are level and stable. No signs of bugs or rodents, the AC works and theres a desk microwave and safe (dont know if microwave or safe works though, not gonna find out)

Location is great, but the place is a sty. Our room was filthy, there were chunks missing on the ceiling by the windows, and something red splattered on the door of the mini-fridge. Lord, I hope it was ketchup. The microwave could not have been even wiped down for weeks, and there were spots in the wall to the right as we walked in. I know its a beach place, and occasionally storms blast through, but FFS, people, clean your place!! Rooms: Filthy. Dont walk in there without shoes on. Even when naked. In fact, dont get naked here. There are much better places on the island. Noteworthy details: Be prepared to see homeless addicts. Galveston has more than Austin, and these are the zombie ones, like Fentanyl cases, and they tend to drop by hotel lobbies for free coffee, or whatever amenities they can get, and this place seems to welcome them. There was some poor soul in the lobby while we were there, getting some hot cocoa. I feel sorry for her situation, but its a little unnerving to encounter someone strung out while youre trying to check in and out.

If you are thinking about staying here DON T!!! While the man at the front desk was extremely kind and made check in easy and fast, everything else was very disheartening. The Hotel grounds are filthy and extremely dirty. Trash all over the parking lot, stairwells, and hallways. The rooms are decorated cute and the bed was comfortable but the room was very dirty and it was frustrating to think that they were just ok with their grounds and rooms being this dirty. The room had black mold everywhere. There were also things splatted all over the walls. The curtains were falling down. There were only two towels in the bathroom. One tiny trashcan in the whole room and it wasn t changed in two days. Toilet paper roll wasn t on the holder and the holder was locked so we couldn t even put it on ourselves. Shampoo was empty. Walls are paper thin and people around us were so loud til all hours of the night and we could hear their every word they said. We also had a conjoining room and the people in the other room (who weren t with us) sounded like they were in our room. Just over all really unpleasant stay. It did have some perks. The location is great! We were able to walk to the beach each day. They allow dogs and that s the reason we chose the hotel. The bed was comfortable (we didn t see any bugs in our room) and the air unit worked great. It was nice to come back to a cool room. Please please please clean up this hotel and put more sound proofing in the rooms because this could be a great hotel if the right management was put in place. I really don t understand how the staff isn t going through and sweeping the grounds of trash at least once a day .also maybe try to implement quiet hours and place more trashcans throughout the property.

If your looking for a hotel that is nice and clean and fairly quiet, this is not the place for you. My hotel room was super dirty upon check-in, I asked for a new room which to my surprise was way worse than the first one (black mold on lampshade and in bathtub etc.). I ended up having them re clean the first room and replace all bedding (see attached picture for a glimpse of the state of the room). Walls were thin so I could hear my loud neighbors all night (literally 3am+). Overall the location was nice and convenient but the cleanliness was subpar at best. If my work hadnt paid for the hotel, I definitely wouldve gone somewhere else.

Fantastic location, rooms were nice but need some deep cleaning. I love dogs and being able to travel with them but this hotel needs some restrictions. Too many dogs staying all over the hotel not such one for dog owners only. Plus one family had 5 dogs and 4 kids in one room. Decent breakfast but need to put rubber caps on chair legs, everytime a chair moved it made screeching noise. Image a crowded room full doing all that noise. Staff was fantastic and very professional. Pool was awesome!

Entering our room, the bathtub was dirty. The front desk offered to move us to another room, but it was no guarantee the bathroom was clean. We stayed and cleaned to tub ourselves. The pool was not available the first night. We had to go next door to swim. We the pool opened the next day, it had too many bugs to swim with. I will not return on my next visit. It started off bad, the room smelled like old pee but other than that it was fine. We did have a lack of towels and the coffee pot, hair dryer, lamp and phone did not work!!! The elevator acted weird and we got shot down to the last floor and had to take the stairs the rest of the trip. The gym was nice and so was the food though there was no variety, same all 4 days here. No weights in the gym but nice machines. The lobby is nice but the rooms are outdated. The beds are comfortable and rooms have a good amount of shampoo and conditioner. Halfway through the trip our room keys stopped working and when we asked for help three times and they continued to not work. Ended up having maintenance done to the card reader. We booked a room with a beach view and got a view of the pool but faced away from the beach. Many customers complained about the quality of the rooms. Most of the time there were no front desk employees! A foul smell of weed came by a nearby room. The location is great but the quality isnt. Check out another hotel nearby!!! The place was great just close by the beach. The room was very clean. I asked for service for the t. V. They came up right away. Sure. Nothing is perfect. But I dont know any perfect hotel either. Maybe it should be more space in a breakfast room. In the morning? But i was so pleased with everything else, plus I forgot my tablet and they were kind enough to pack it in an and had FedEx. Disappointed and disgusted is an understatement. This hotel is by far the worst place I ve ever stayed at. Me and my husband drove 7 hours with 2 young children (9 month old and 5 year old) to be greeted by cockroaches. We booked a two night stay and only stayed one night! Our children were tired, hungry, and crying so we went to our room dropped off our items and grabbed fast food down the road. When walking back to our room we saw dozens of cockroaches. The first thing I saw when opening our door was a large cockroach running across our floor and behind our bed! I immediately grabbed our stuff and told the front desk I wanted another room. The girl at the front desk didn t seem surprised at all that there was a bug in our room. After switching rooms I felt a little bit better but still uneasy. At this point it was 11pm and my kids were so tired they were having trouble sleeping so we decided to all walk to the ice machine and get some ice. We walked the entire third floor following the signs that said ice machine passing trash and roaches only for there to be no ice machine on that floor. So we go downstairs to the first floor to the ice machine and it s broken and not working. Annoyed and frustrated we head back to our room and put our kids to bed. When showering I noticed the shower and bathroom has mold and stains on the walls. A few feet outside my shower I noticed a cockroach crawling around and another by the ac unit. Since is was so late and everything we was closed we had no choice but to stay in this hotel for the night. The next morning I went to the front desk checked out early and wanted a refund. The girl at the front was very rude and said I had to come back when a manager was present. Now im having trouble getting a hold of anyone at the front desk! Don t ever stay at this hotel! I m not going to lie, walking in I was a bit worried due to all the reviews I saw. However when I arrived there I was pleasantly surprised! For the price, my expectations were exceeded! Hotel rooms were clean, no roach in sight, breakfast is delicious, hotel clerk is helpful, and they have refreshments out in the lobby! Obviously it is not perfect and if they really wanted to be, just clean up the hallway a bit, make the rooms a little less humid, and remind guests to stay quiet when walking down the hallways at night. However keep in mind that this is a waterfront hotel, at a great location, and at an extremely affordable price compared to locations nearby!

WE MOVED HOTELS AFTER ONE NIGHT! Hotel is cheap for a reason. Bathroom COVERED in human hair. Door doesnt close without SLAMMING shut. Outside is awful from entry until room. There wasnt even toilet paper. Didnt feel comfortable there. BY THE WAY, partial ocean view literally means your window is in a hallway so if you want to see a drop of water you need to open your entire room up to anyone walking by in the outside hallway. Rooms: told recently renovated, not true at all, and if it is true then the old rooms had serious health concerns.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked a room for 5/26/24. Upon arrival there was a man screaming in the lobby about roaches in the room. We went to our room, the elevator s are filthy, the pool was gray. But we went ahead to check out the room. Walk inside and there is MOLD on the curtains, and the lamp shade. We pulled back the blankets to check the mattress and they were BLOODY, MOLD, and evidence of BED BUGS. the floors were dirty, and to top it off there was PUKE down the side of the bed. We went back to the lobby desk and showed the photos and they said sorry, we will give you a refund . They said it would take 3-5 business days. Today is now 6 business days. I ve reached out to the property at 3 business days and they assured me that they processed the refund. Today, 6 businesses days later I reach out to my bank and they inform me a refund on the charge was NEVER PROCESSED BY THE PROPERTY!! I am now having to dispute the charges with the bank.

We booked this hotel for my godsons 13th birthday. We were told we could check in early, we arrived 1 hr before check in(3pm) and we re told we had to wait until 4pm. We arrived back at the hotel at 4 & ended up not getting a room until after 5pm bc they had no rooms cleaned. When we get to our room we immediately noticed trash, live beetles & bugs, sand & human hair / pet hair in our beds. Our phone also didn t work. We contacted guest services @5:35 pm & they finally responded @9pm & said they could give us another room. We packed up & moved to the next room, by this time it s after 10:30pm. We all went straight to bed. When we woke up about 7:30 this morning, as I was getting ready I started noticing multiple spots that were covered in black mold. Contacted the front desk, they offered us a new room. I requested to inspect it first & they agreed. As soon as I walk in I notice mold, crumbs & hair on the floors. We requested to be refunded & left. The assistant manager was good to work with as for anyone else, nothing but rudeness. WE WILL NEVER EVER recommed this place to anyone nor will we ever be back.

Was down for Memorial Day Weekend. Room was good considering age of hotel. Clean. Only 2 towels and no hand towels but were given more on request. Booked a room with full ocean view but there are only partial views and virtually no view from our room as we were on ground floor. We did however have a nice full view of the parking lot. Breakfast was ok. No variety. Same all 3 mornings. No ice machine access after lobby closed. Hotel rated 3 star on most booking sites and priced as such. I think rating should be 2 to 2.5 and priced accordingly. Over all we were pleased with our stay. I m not sure where to begin. We booked our room early on. It was advertised as having ocean views, and looking clean! Keep clean in mind, because it sure wasn t clean! We booked for two nights (Friday and Saturday) just for a little weekend get away. Upon arrival, we were greeted with no employees, just endlessly waiting for half an hour until the front desk attendant showed up. After filling out the paperwork and getting our keycards, we went on a mission to find our room. As we made our way to the elevator, we started to notice just how run down and nasty this place really was. As we approached the dilapidated elevator that brought us up to our floor, we noticed quite the presence of cockroaches in the elevator. Upon entering the room that was more than likely built in the 1700s, we noticed just how nasty this place was. The bed spread was stained, the pillows had hair on them, the mattress was stained, the bath towels had unknown foreign stains on them. The door locks were falling off the walls, which really added to the curb appeal in my opinion. We stayed all for about 2 minutes and promptly checked out and requested a refund. Keep in mind, we payed around $800 for this lovely room, and boy were we disappointed. I d recommend this place if you like friends while sleeping (cockroaches and the sure possibility of bed bugs). Beware!

Clean pool, clean rooms, right next to the beach, pretty views, grocery store and rainforest cafe within walking distance, ice cream parlor next door and across the street is a long dock, if you go into the building, they have music and drinks on the second floor. This was the perfect getaway. I stayed here for two nights before my cruise and I enjoyed it throughly. They also have a really good breakfast in the mornings. If you want to be near everything and never have to take your car out into the chaos of the traffic in the area, this is the place to stay. We will be staying here again in the future. Very nice stay! So close to the beach and overall a very convenient location! Our room was simple and cozy, they ve renovated their rooms and they look cute. The staff is very sweet! Our room wasn t quite ready when we arrived for check in which honestly wasn t a big deal so we did have to wait about 30 mins, the stairwell we had to walk up to get to our room smelled terrible but I didn t really care much at the end of the day, I just looked forward to passing out in the bed LOL.

Stayed 3 nights 460$ which would of been okay except for the guest next to us having the TV blasting till 3 am among other things. I called the front desk 3 times before they call that guest. But only after I had beat on their door aaking them to quite down myself. I place my first call at 10 pm and the desk didnt call the other room till 1230am. It still continued until 3am. Not a very good experience for my wife and I. Atleast we didnt have children with us. For compassion, the management took 67$ off our bill with we are sorry. I have attached a recording, lesson at your own risk, it is rated x in my book.

Upon check in we entered our room only to be greeted by the sight of mold on the lampshade, the walls, and looked as if there was mold on the inside of the microwave. I have two young children that I absolutely could not subject the sleeping in a room with mold. We immediately checked out and obtained a room at the Holiday Inn Express. The front desk employee also didn t seem to care or have any type of feeling towards myself and my wife finding mold inside the room. I would not recommend staying in this hotel.

Our room was filthy. The grounds were filthy yet they charged me $75 for a 4 lb dog to stay in the room. Which was not on the website I booked at Amazon told that when we arrived. Why does a hotel not have towels in the room especially by a beach? Elevators are not working. Trash on ground. Toilets barely work when flushing. We stayed here the night before our cruise. It was an epic mistake. We will spend extra money and stay elsewhere when we return in July for another cruise. The checkin clerk was nice, which is about the only good thing I can say about this hotel. When we got to our room we were immediately bombarded with an overwhelming odor of marijuana and bleach. It was like Cheech and Chong stayed in the room the night before and housekeeping did the best they could by trying to power wash the room with bleach. I immediately went back down to the front desk and asked for another room, which the clerk graciously gave us. The 2nd room wasnt too much better. The floors were dirty, there were only 2 towels in the entire room with no soap whatsoever. After we were already in bed, our daughter noticed a huge stain on the sheets on her bed and it seemed as if the sheets on her bed werent even changed. So she slept with us in the other small queen bed for the night. The bathroom toilet and bathtub were gross with stains, dirt and grime. The entire hotel needs a major makeover and extensive renovation. I would recommend you stay away and spend a few extra bucks elsewhere at a normal hotel.
