We came to Cleveland Square/The Museum of History for the Lowrider exhibit farewell event. It was a very interesting exhibit, informing the public how the culture surrounding the vehicles came to be. Local radio host Mike Guerrero was hosting The Fox Jukebox live on location, playing El Paso style oldies. Lowrider was selling merchandise, my husband bought himself a pair of sunglasses. Hes very satisfied with his purchase. The El Paso Public Library was giving away books and little prizes as well as facemasks, which our daughter collected. We got our daughter and ice cream in an effort to beat the heat and headed home early. I only have 2 photos bc I took video.

When I went there today they were closed at ten am as there time said that they open at 10 am till 6 pm. But they didnt open as they said. So I guess that they meant that they would open when they felt like opening.

This is a great place to bring your bag lunch. Peaceful and quiet. For some reason, the shade component have been removed from the seating areas, so it is Hell Paso hot! Also, be aware, one cleans the seats, so you may need to hunt to find one without pigeon droppings! Additionally, although notified on many occasions the City has been unwilling to undertake pigeon abatement or any control.

Cleveland square was a wonderful place to March for migrants in downtown. Migrants deserve to have a voice here in the u.s. Jesus Christ was a migrant and wanted to help as many people as he can and he did and he improved lifes. It was a wonderful experience to walk with many people of different religions to step up for people who have trouble being heard.
