This place is sooooo gooood. The staff and owner always take great care of us. 5th time here and we will be back!! We almost always get chix and steak hibachi and 3 specialty roles. And saki!!! Ask for Jenifer or Rudy you will not be disappointed.

We are so lucky to have this place in New Braunfels! Fabulous sushi and noodles tonight. We started with spicy edamame and fried tofu. Enjoyed five different rolls (two of the veggie rolls and three with fish the Awesome Tuna, and two others I can t remember). Service was stellar. Attentive but not overbearing. The sushi chefs were excited and happy to show my three year old what they were doing. Wonderful atmosphere as well. You could bring a nice date here but also dine with your family. Definitely a nice balance. We ll be back many time, I m sure! Vegetarian options: Several veggie only rolls and nigiri, several vegetarian friendly dishes. Kid-friendliness: Staff were very welcoming to our young family, brought special chopsticks for the toddler, and a well cleaned high chair for the baby.

Went here to try the sushi. I had a late lunch. I was their only customer. Service was great. Sushi bar chairs were far too short for the counter top. It was hard to eat at the sushi bar due to the chair height. I ordered sushi. It was not horrible, but for the price, the sushi rolls were very small. Rolls were also not rolled properly and fell apart as I tried to pick each piece off my plate. Their version of spicy was very different than Ive had at other sushi restaurants. I rated food a 3 star on sushi only. I will not go back for sushi. Too bad, as I was hoping for better quality sushi.

Service was great, our waitress was very sweet, no complaints there. I did have a problem with the sushi chef and the thinnest cuts of fish on our sushi. I don t mind spending $85-100 but I expect decent portions of tuna and salmon on my rolls. 3 rolls and 3 miso soup w/ tip was $85, no alcohol just two sweet teas. Add 2 beers and that tab would ve been $100 easily. Sorry but I will not be going back. Like I said very sweet staff but they need to do something about those sushi chefs skimping out on the fish.

We were finally able to visit and boy was it worth the wait. The staff could not have been any more helpful, they helped with suggestions and all had smiles on throughout our visit. To take things to the next level we mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday lunch and boy did they go above and beyond to make our son feel special. Looking forward to making this place a staple in our eating out lineup. Thank you for the great experience and we will be sharing with all our friends and family. A really beautiful restaurant walking in the atmosphere is so breathtaking. We ordered the out of control sushi roll (amazing role unique flavor but would order it again) along with the salmon bento box and the chicken katsu Bento box. The chicken cant sue was awesome but my daughter had ordered the salmon and she took her first bite and looked at me like it didnt taste good So I took a small bite and it tasted off like not cooked properly or I dont know what was wrong but it just tasted off. The manager had come over and we let her know, then the waiter came over we let him know. We didnt want a replacement for it. We were just ready to go. We just wanted to get a box for my chicken katsu and order some fried bananas to go. It was almost 20 minutes later. He brought our check and the bananas. They had removed my daughters food but of course thats expected because she ate three bites of it. I figured an apology for my daughter not eating a meal. When her and I were coming out for a congratulations meal for her. I assumed that because one whole meal at our table of two was not edible that there would be some type of compensation. The waiter said we removed from the check the meal that was non edible which is automatically expected since you took it away and she only ate three bites of the whole meal. The bananas would possibly be free but no and we never saw the manager again since we originally said something. The whole experience there was about an hour and a half and we didnt order a lot of food or anything like that. They are extremely slow! When we arrived there was only one other family there and they had already got their food. Very questionable if we go back and it would only be for a couple of rolls. We were super excited that there was a restaurant on this side of town and completely let down in our experience there. Just got home and opened up the fried bananas and they were not fries but deep fried in tempura breading. Really not happy all the way around.

I ve been here twice for early dinner and nothing has disappointed us. They have a large selection of sushi. The bento boxes are our favorites. They have a couple gyosa, few pieces of sushi, rice, tempura, plus whatever protein you want. We ve had the miso soup and wonton soup. We prefer miso. Everything tasted fresh and good portions. Prompt service. Staff is very nice and wants to make sure everything tastes good. Sodas are sold in 20 oz. bottles so no free refills. We ve spent about $50 for two people (no appetizers or desserts). I ll be coming back.

When you get there, there s good amount of parking so that s easy. The food was ok. The portions are small and very conservative. I got the tower which was supposed to have tuna,salmon and crab meat. It s 90% rice and a dash of everything else. It s really small too. The rolls are also small. They cut off right before it wraps so it was falling apart when I tried to eat it. The service, when I asked for more ginger, she took my little sauce tray and came back with some ginger in it. I had to dump it out onto my plate so I can re-use it. I thought that was kinda weird. Atmosphere was nice. Overall, I wouldn t go back. Some people compare this to A-Tan. For the price, I prefer A-Tan. I wouldn t go back.

Loved this place. Started out with a salted caramel martini, shrimp tempura for an appetizer, then had lunch chicken katzu bento box and lunch chicken hibachi. The servicing sizes were large. Incredible place with great service and even better food, my only complaint was not having tried this restaurant sooner! We went for lunch on a Sunday at 2 PM, we were sat immediately even though they were busy, and they took out orders very quickly. We ordered two of their lunch specials (The salmon teriyaki box pictured) and an order of chicken yaki udon, and all of the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. You can choose between soup and salad, I chose the miso soup which was phenomenal and definitely some of the best Ive had, Im told the salad was a bit basic but very fresh and the dressing was excellent. The portions are large and definitely more than worth the price at about $15 per person, everything was cooked to perfection, chicken was juicy and just the right amount of crispy, the tempura had an amazing crunch, and the sauces they used for everything was sweet and savory, bringing it all together for a delicious experience. Its going to be hard to go anywhere else from now on, if youre in the mood for a mini-trip to the authentic flavors of Japan, definitely make this your stop!

I really like this place! The servers were all really nice with the perfect amount of attentiveness. All the food came out perfectly timed, quickly, but also spaced out just right. They allowed me to make a slight change to the sushi roll that I ordered by leaving off two Ingredients I wasn t a fan of when I ordered it without any sort of hassle. Everything I tried was delicious! The restaurant itself is on the small side, but in a good way If that makes any sense. I can t wait to eat there again and I m definitely bringing friends and family with me next time! I m so happy to have a sushi/hibachi type restaurant closer to my side of town now!

Wow - I was expecting better. We ordered two items off the lunch menu. The Chicken Teriyaki was horrible the vegetables were cold. Unfortunately we both ordered it. The Crunchy Tuna Roll was just okay. I did enjoy the Miso Soup. Two lunch entrees, iced tea and crunchy tuna sushi roll with tip was over $50. Service was pretty good. I can t recommend this place. First of all it s not hibachi in front of you. It s in the kitchen which is fine but the fried rice was really peppery. My kids couldn t eat it. The price is per piece and it s the same price for sushi and sashimi. The appetizer soft shell crab was a joke. Super tiny with a thick batter. The two rolls we ordered fell apart when you picked them up. The lychee martinis are made with lychee syrup with no real lychees. Overall the price and quality of food are not up to par.

We went here for an early dinner on Saturday. Restaurant was very comfortable inside. We changed tables due to the a/c blowing directly on the table - the owner was very nice and concerned, offered to turn it down. The waitress was friendly, attentive and quick. Unfortunately they were out of edamame, so no appetizer. I had the lo mein with shrimp, it was cooked al dente, pretty good, but needed 1 more minute in the water. I took plenty home, enough for another meal. My husband ordered the sushi entree with 3 types of sushi, rice and a salad or soup. We assumed that for the price ($18) he would get a few of each sushi type. But to our amazement- he got 3 complete sushi rolls with rice and salad for $18! Our total bill was under $50. We give the food a solid 4 out of 5 and rate the entire experience a 5. We will be back.

Worth the drive from Austin! I took my family here based on a recommendation and it was so worth it. The sushi and appetizers were amazing. I ordered drinks, two appetizers, soup, a hibachi dinner, and dessert. The atmosphere is trendy. They have a sushi bar that was great as well as table seating. The service is fast and they provided great recommendations. Even the kids loved their food and want to come back. My kids had a blast talking with the sushi chef. The menu is clearly marked for what is cooked vs sashimi. I was impressed with the presentation of the sushi rolls. They had an exquisite flower made of vegetables. I would highly recommend this for date night or a family dinner. I will have to keep coming back because there were so many options on the menu that looked amazing. We talked with the owners and they were so welcoming and the staff were very cheerful. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Kid-friendliness: You have to try the kids virgin cocktails. Was super excited for a new Asian spot here and overall it was a fairly positive experience. We tried two rolls and a plate of lo mein. Really wanted to to try the yakisoba but they said due to supplier issues yakisoba wasn t being served yet. The lo mein was just ok and I wouldn t recommend it. It seemed on par with lo mein from a frozen package. I m not convinced the noodles weren t spaghetti lol. The sushi was very good, and prepared fresh. But overall the portion sizes seemed too small for the price. Almost $50 for one order of lo mein, one regular roll, and one speciality roll. It s a miss for me.

Nothing to go nuts over! I have been to 50+ sushi places. Very average and small portions for price. I always start with a spicy tuna handroll to get a feel for their offers. The absolute smallest handroll Ive ever had with just tuna and rice! Small salad was a dry bag salad with dressing on top. Edameme (garlic/spicy) was just tossed in a dressing like sauce, very average. Jalapeño Bomb was the highlight, but 2 stuffed med jalapeños quartered $15! Louisiana roll was drenched in sauce and small. Crab cake was a thin smashed loose crab on a bed of greens.... Nice to have something new but will travel for better. One and done for T Bento

Large menu and bar selection, shows potential but not quite ready for primetime. The tables are very close together, where most opposing chairs are touching one another. Both the Whiskey Smash and Pineapple Rum drinks that were ordered were not balanced. I had to send the whiskey smash back, strong taste of lime & soda water. It didnt help that the drinks sat at the end of the bar for over 15 minutes, even after I had asked our waitor to check on the drinks 10 minutes after ordering them. The service was very bad. After being seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for the waitor to take our drink orders. It would be another 10 minutes before he returns to take our food orders. The kitchen was busy so it did take another 15-20 minutes before the appetizers were brought out. My partners meal would arrive another 20 minutes after that without rice. It would take another 5 minutes for a bowl of white rice to arrive at the table. I politely asked for him to check on my food. Another 10 minutes pass as my partner is taking her last bite, they asked if I would still like my dinner as it was apparent my waitor had never entered my order in. I asked them to cancel it and bring the check. The waitor never apologized during the meal and i ended up stopping at subway for dinner on the way home. I hope they improve their bar and service staff as the location is great and the menu is expansive. There are significantly better sushi options in the greater NB area.
