Got the barbacoa taco, chicken taco, and Barbaro tacos.. along with some chips and queso. Chicken didnt have much flavor but the barbaro was delicious. The consumé wasnt as flavorful as I anticipated but it wasnt terrible. Get the barbaro.. you wont regret it. Get yourself 3 if youre starving.

I placed an order for a meeting for 6 people to deliver. I only got half of the order, to makes matter worse it was the owners food that didn t arrive I placed the food at this location because it is the closest one to the office, I called 4 times left messages, I hate going to down town that s why I had delivered, never anywhere to park or pay for parking which is what I had to do when I went to pickup the other half very frustrated . All the manager said was sorry lady , I will never order from that location!!!

To me this place is like the Chipotle of Tacos burrito and Tortas And I can see why they have been expanding, located in Fort Worth, but I can see them expanding into Dallas County areas. Their meats are all reasonably flavored, chips and queso are superb . Their salsas have a spice level from novice to expert. Breakfast and their Tortas are a must to try. I fell like I get my moneys worth.

Came here 3 times. Each time, my order was made wrong (didnt get everything that was in its menu description). Its obvious management doesnt care. Very pricey for the little amount that you get. Put in a pick up order, i received a confirmation that it would be ready at 11:30. i show up at around 11:35, its not ready, i wait roughly 50 minutes before i decide to get a refund because my hour lunch was about to be over. the guy that gave a refund was nice. the kitchen is hectic which is understandable but some workers were not wearing gloves, they place the tickets on top of the food.

My coworkers and I have ordered from this location many times and have been disappointed many times. No matter how many comments we make about including salsa in the bag, its always missing. Today, we placed an order for delivery with no third-party service. The wrong order was delivered. Luckily, the man whose order I had was willing to meet me to trade. Food was good as always. However, should you wish to enjoy an adult beverage its always tricky. They have a bar area, but not a bartender. Someone from back comes to make your drink. I went through my entire meal and never got my order. Spoke to wait staff twice. Watched the lady come from back and start mixing for several people who arrived way after I, but who were standing at the bar. In the past I did eventually get my drink with my food.

This should be a five star review. The atmosphere is fantastic thanks to ample indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is efficient and thorough. Youll enjoy the bar or patio as an alternate to a standard table. The food us good, but they insist on the tacos having raw cabbage. Its a weird crunchy addition that doesnt compliment the taco at all and actually takes away from the flavor. They even pile it pretty high meaning youll mostly taste cabbage on your taco. Its weird and should be removed from the ingredients - saving them money and you a bad additive. Otherwise this is a five star place! Vegetarian options: Many filling options are vegetarian.

Used to frequent this location & the Magnolia location once a week but due to the horrible customer service & attitudes from the bartenders at the downtown location I go out of my way to completely avoid this brand now. Very bad off putting encounters from the fat bartender & the skinny one on two separate encounters. I work & play in downtown weekly but will never return here. I will give props to the Dallas location though they have always been the best in vibes & customer service but I don t think I would ever spend my hard earned money for bad service with this franchise ever again.

The barbacoa was good and the asada was ok. The beans were alright and the rice was a bit crunchy but the flavor was there. Their salsa tasted fresh as did their hot sauces and their margaritas were decent. Way too expensive for a taco place. It shouldnt cost 45$ for two people especially when its all just ok. I had to go talk to someone to get our chips and salsa and it took forever to get our margaritas. Everyone that worked there moved at a snails pace.

The green jalapeño sauce and the orange habanero sauce were soooo good!! But be warned, when they say the habanero sauce is Mega Hot, they mean it!! I have ordered here a few times now. The food itself, has always tasted good. However at this location there are some inconsistencies. Portion sizes differ, 1 time you may feel you get your moneys worth with a plump burrito. Other times however you may feel as if you got half of what you got last time. I know it depends who s working or making your burrito, but when you pay $1.50 extra per burrito for extra Meat and get less than when you didn t pay the extra, it s a bit disheartening. UPDATE: I went back to Salsa Limon, and was given a complimentary meal due to my previous complaint. The woman at the register was and has been very pleasant and apologetic about the situation. The food is really good; I love the cabbage! Its a shame that my first experience wasnt the greatest, but it does seem like an isolated incident that they made sure to correct. I would recommend this establishment. Came here today for the very first time. I placed a to go order and I had a staple sitting on top of my avocado slice!! I got the El campeon burrito, and it was the best burrito I have ever had. I highly recommend this place. Delicious tacos in one of the few casual dining establishments in downtown Fort Worth. I tried 3 types of filling, Carne Asada, Pastor, and Barbacoa. So pleasantly surprised that all three of them have distinct flavors, seasoned differently, and isnt overly salty. I liked the little salsa fridge that you can get to add extra on top. The pickled cabbage also is a nice touch. They also offer punch cards, so if you work in the area and go here often for lunch, make sure to pick one up for future discounts.

Good food, we stumbled upon it just wanting some Mexican food and a lot of other places are just closed in FW on Sunday. This place was yummy and pleasant. The only complaint would be that it has a very fast-food vibe. Vegetarian options: I went with a vegetarian friend and she was very happy with her choices of tacos!

Nice, quick place to eat. It was a Saturday night and we were looking for a place we could eat some good food quick. This place delivered. The tacos were great, there was an excellent choice of salsas, and even my pikcy 9 year old liked it.

this music is way to loud, can t even hear my partner talk across the table. the food comes in to go plates. the tacos were terrible. and the chips and dip could be bought at walmart. do not recommend to anyone.

My co-workers had recommended this place and rave about it all the time. So, we went for a quick lunch, I love breakfast at anytime of day and decided to get the breakfast bowl. It was ok, way over priced for what I got. Beans were runny and eggs and meat just put on top. If we go back, I may try something different.

I always love the tacos from Salsa Limón (esp El Capitan with pastor and barbacoa), but have to brag on the bartender at this location. Went in with a couple of friends after the arts festival downtown and the bartender (I think his name was Emmanuel? He said he d only started working a couple of days ago) made an amazing customized cucumber margarita for my 2 friends and made me no kidding the *best* Paloma I ve ever had. The 3 of us were raving about the cocktails well after we left and will be planning to go in for at least a drink next time we re in downtown! Highly recommend!

Only putting 4 stars because every time I ve gotten their queso it s super watery. This might be what it s supposed to be but I personally like a thick Queso. Everything else on the menu is super yummy but it s not my favorite Mexican spot. Also I m convinced their coke is prob the best I ve ever had!

Havent had Salsa Limon in years but we took our foster kiddo here to experience it for the first time. The tacos did not disappoint. They were just as tasty as we remembered - which was really telling since we eat plant based. Everyone enjoyed the street tacos filled with beans, onions, and cabbage - delicious, warm and bursting with filling. We even tried some rice and it was well seasoned and fluffy. Great, casual Mexican meal that never makes you feel heavy or hurting afterwards. Fabulous place for family night, get-together, or a date.

Strongly held opinion: if you havent tried an el Capitan, you havent eaten at salsa limon. Dont sleep on the hibiscus tea! Vegetarian options: Two veggie filling options
