Seriously one of the best Nashville chicken we ve ever had with fantastic customer service. Ordered #1 Heaven & Love and #3 Shut the Cluck Up and it hit the spot. The #3 was our favorite and preferred level of spice: Extra Hot. Will try RR Reaper spice next time because we aren t b*tches. The Comeback sauce is not lyin In addition, we love the spacious truck yard, plenty of shade, fans, large TV, bounce house, bar and clean restrooms. Parking: Good amount of parking Kid-friendliness: There s a bounce house and a gated area with fake grass and or sand/rock box where the kids can play. Can bring your toys to share w other kids. My son loves it!

I ve had chicken from all the places around the country. Nashville had probably some of my top 5 and this chicken right here beat a couple of them out. Probably top 5 best I ve had. If you like spicy they got what you need. Phenomenal heat, excellently cooked, and amazing flavor. I got the second hottest and it made me know I was eating hot chicken! Loved it. I went to the Mesquite location, and it was closed, even though both their website and google shows that theyre open. The owner of the gas station that they operated in had told me that Rooster Roo is no longer at this location. The owners of Rooster Roo have failed to make that announcement on their website, and have failed to remove their Mesquite location from both Google, and their own website, so I wasted both my time and gas to get there. And to add on to that, I called their phone, and no one answered. I also called their Rockwall location to get more information, and I still couldnt get anyone to answer the phone. Again, a waste of time and gas.

The C store is not it!! BUT Rooster Rooooooo OMG!! The chicken is full of flavor and juicy. Everything is FRESH, FRESH, FRESH!! The fries are definitely better than most, really good. It is BLACK OWNED The owner has a great personality, he made great suggestions knowing this was our first time. I will be back, no more hot daves for this lady! I have visited both their locations in Rockwall and Mesquite, the atmosphere is wonderful at both. I have enjoyed their chicken sliders with fries as well as their chicken quesadilla. Seneca and Sam are very friendly and make a point to speak to everyone who walks through the door. Rooster Roo Hot Chicken is the place to visit.

SO. GOOD. I m not much of a reviewer but it truly was so amazing. Perfect level of heat, best seasoning, and I m not normally a slaw or pickle person, but get it how it comes it was delicious. I think this is the best Nashville style hot chicken Ive had. WARNING: If you dont handle heat well, maybe start off with the Medium or Hot. But I had the Extra Hot and it was easily the spiciest I can handle, but they also maintain the flavor really well too, which is often lost when just packing in for heat. I was impressed! So I definitely recommend this husband/wife combo. Look out for them around North Texas, their location changes.

Man let me tell you .I m was never really a fan of Nashville Hot Chicken until I had Rooster Roo. It s something about their blend of seasonings and their special sauce that just does it for me every time vs when I ve tried other spots. The food is amazing and perfect every time, but the customer service and attention to detail is truthfully what takes it over the top for me. And the owner is a Dallas Native? The gentlemen manning the truck were personable, helpful, and fun! We d love to get a brick and mortar location out here in Northlake/Argyle/Denton! The chicken was appropriately spiced for its level, had delicious flavor, was super crunchy, but so moist!! Some of the best fried chicken I ve ever had (and I m picky!) their fries were the perfect level of fried and flavorful too! Next time we ll be asking for even more of the dipping sauce too ;)

Went with the #3 Reaper seasoning, hottest seasoning they had to offer. Great taste, texture, and flavor on the chicken. The heat was defiantly hot but bearable if you re used to eating hot things. 4 stars overall for the service and the fries. Fries didn t really have any flavor and the service was very straight forward and not as welcoming as you d think for paying almost $20 for one plate. The chicken and spices outweigh all of the negatives I mad have had. Overall this is a place to check out if you re a fan of hot chicken.

I m a huge fan of Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, and this place is at the top of my all time favorites. These are great people too, very friendly. The seasoning they use is fantastic, a mixture of some traditional spices with a savory Ethiopian blend. The chicken is high quality and the roll/bun is excellent. I tried all heat levels, and recommend medium overall. I m a spice junkie, and the ghost pepper version of this sandwich sent me to outer space . Even the crinkle cut fries are great and they sprinkle some of their seasoning on top. Definitely make sure to check this place out!
