Employees were on their phones and saw us but went about their business. After a f several minutes someone took our order. We had to pull up to the window because there wasnt anyone taking the order from the drive thru. When we finally got our food I checked the bag and my order wasnt complete I had to drive back thru to get my beans and rice. Which wasnt full. Im shocked at how this place is ran.

Possibly the Worst Popeyes I ve ever been too, put in a mobile order for drive thru pickup. Gave it about 15 minutes went to pick it up it s been about 25 minutes and they didn t even start making my order. Once I arrived I pulled around to the drive thru and was told they aren t doing drive thru orders I told them I had placed an online order for drive thru pickup they made me park and come inside. Waited for about 20 more minutes Just for them to tell me it s getting started now. I d understand if it was busy but I m the only one in the store and they have 5 employees. Lobby music is blaring store is not clean.

Please assist me with reporting a concern regarding new district manager, whom I believe is named Victor. It has come to my attention that he may be hiring individuals from Mexico who do not possess work visas and do not speak English. Additionally, one of these employees mentioned that he has not been clocked in or paid for his work. Furthermore, I was introduced to a new General Manager who is also unable to communicate in English, affecting service quality. I would appreciate your help in reporting this matter and filing a formal complaint about the hiring practices of the district manager. Thank you.

This place is horrible. They purposely do not answer the drive thru. They just hope You will drive away. I waited in line today for 12 minutes no one answered. 2 employees came out back to smoke. They just looked at me and laughed. I went around to try and go inside they locked the doors. How this place is still open is beyond me. If you don t want to work go home.

Went in the drive thru no answer. Go park and go in, I asked why no one answered the mic, the managers replay was that they were not doing drive thru tonight . Drink machine is all out of carbonated drinks. Employees cussing and using their phones. This place needs a new owner or shut down! Food is always not done. I actually enjoyed my food with no complaints at all. Place needs lawn care, and a lot of TLC. Very unprofessional having one of the employees sitting outside on curb with girlfriend. Not sure who the manager or owner is- but they need to be fired. We are all lined up at curb waiting for our meal. Take pride in your establishment. This is ridiculous I got a chicken sandwich and the bread was hard as a rock. Chicken was dry. Gave it another chance because we like the chicken. Not sure what is going on with this store. It took an extra hour after we placed our mobile order. Potatoes had rice mixed in. Beans were watery. This place needs a new owner if it s franchised or management if corporate! If it s corporate I would love to have a chat. If Franchised I would love to have a chat but with corporate. Management forces Employees to have drive through pay and park because they say the pickup window is weighted and timed. 40 min later (if your lucky I m currently sitting here at 52 min now) we get the food. Which is always an issue because they are not setup with designated spots for each order. Never fails someone gets the wrong food. Also, this is not a recent problem, been like this for a few years! Employees appear to have a two week turnover which equals an upper level Management problem/failure! If Popeyes really cares about their business they will send a team to fix this miss-management mess!!! Update my food was given to another customer by accident (hence the issue with parking cars after the order at a place that isn t setup like that). And they cannot fulfill my original order because they are out of spice chicken . No could I get a refund because I payed with a credit card. Looks like I get to eat something I didn t wish to purchase. I expect a corporate contact over this.

Ive had many issues with this location for many years... from taking over an hour to get food, to getting the wrong order, to just bad customer service. Had an experience about a month ago that finally crossed the line. Ordered delivery fairly early in the morning, to which the order wasnt even acknowledged until over an hour later. When the delivery driver went inside to see what the issue was, she was treated extremely rude my the cashier behind the register. I was told that the manager was trying to smooth things over, but the cashier in question was ignoring his supervisor. After being relayed this information I tried to call the store 3 separate times that morning. Nobody ever answered. I have since tried taking the atrocious service up the corporate chain, to which now it has been a month with 0 communication. I would have been more than happy to address this with someone who at least feigned concern over constant issues than posting this review, but you get what you ask for. I would encourage you to buy chicken from someone else that actually cares about customer service. And furthermore, I would encourage any delivery service that cares about their drivers to remove this location from delivery services. And finally, they still got the order wrong.

On June 19th 2024, My wife and I took the family out to dinner at Popeyes in Abilene Texas. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! He ordered our food at about 6:15 p.m., I never got a receipt. We waited for about 20 minutes for our order and never got it. I went to the counter to ask on the status of our food. Of course they asked me for a receipt and I told him they never gave me one. So theyre freaking out looking for the receipt. They asked what my order was and I told them. They finally found the receipt and they hadnt even started on our order! Are you freaking kidding me?!? Finally get the food and they messed up half the order. I asked them for our drinking cups and they said that we should have gotten it when we paid for it. Obviously we didnt. Get the food and its half cold and the French fries tasted raw. They had no straws, drink lids, spoons or other necessities stacked out for customers. Had to ask for those. Then as far as condiments? It took them additional 5 minutes to even locate any condiments. The shift manager? She was sitting at a table on her laptop... NEVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! HORRIBLE!

After we ordered our food we then noticed a sign stating that the big box was only $6. We actually ordered the exact thing and the clerk failed to mention the sale. So for what we should have paid $12 for cost us almost $30. Very poor customer service and the whole time we were eating, I m assuming it was the manager, was out in the dining area on the phone complaining about her money being shorted. I really thought that conversation should have been taken place in her office. And then one of clerks that had took our order came out from behind the counter and he actually was wearing sweat pants and sandals with socks!! I have worked in food service and that should not be allowed. Also get off the phone and get your outside grounds cleaned up. There was trash everywhere. Wheelchair accessibility: The wheel chair ramp was at the very end of the sidewalk. I think it should be in front of the door. This list could go on and on.

Had a coupon... 2 can dine for $9,99. Tenders were good. Mashed potatoes were good. Red beans and rice good. The fountain machine was messed up. Water from water dispenser tasted wrong, like it was carbonated. No soft drinks. Lemonade squirted out at an angle. Most tables in dining room were dirty and nobody came to clean it during our entire visit. Good food did not make up for the messed up drink dispenser and dirty dining area.

I have eaten here as a customer and tried to pick up orders here with uber eats. When I have gone for my own order, without fail the order will take over 45 minutes regardless of how busy or slow it is. When I go to popeyes im never expecting good customer service but being flat out ignored while the staff is having a whole altercation in the back is insane. When I have done anything through uber eats they are always missing items and then expect us as the couriers to deal with it. These have all been different experiences throughout two years and nothing ever changes. I have no idea how this location is even staying open at this point. Do not waste your time going here!

Went through the drive thru today because I saw that they were open for once. My friend and I order a sandwich meal and a 2 piece meal. The guy didnt understand anything we were trying to order. Had to repeat ourselves multiple times. I was to the point I told my friend whatever he put on the screen was fine. Finally ordered. From not knowing what they had available, to waiting over 20 minutes in the drive-thru for a sandwich and 2-piece meal, to going in and seeing that it was just sitting there getting cold in the bag and then when asked if our food was ready, the bag seen sitting there was then thrown across the counter. I hadnt been to Popeyes in years since moving back and when I saw they werent super busy, but did have a few cars, I thought it was promising and maybe due to being in that flex time between lunch hours (depending on when one goes). Detoured off our path home to get our kids some chicken (their favorite). We ordered an 8 piece dark, spicy family meal with Mac n cheese and sweet heat sauce, and 1 oreo dessert. We had to pull over and wait for our food, no biggie. We get down the road and all we have is not so fresh chicken and biscuits. Love that chicken from Popeyes....but good luck getting it. They are so understaffed that you will sit in the drive thru for 20 minutes and never be acknowledged. If you are, theyre probably out of whatever you wanted. Try going inside instead, but its not any faster and half the time the door is locked. So yeah, I usually give up and go somewhere else. Which is sad cause their chicken sandwich is amazing.

Arrived and placed my order at 10:31 this morning. I was told it would be about seven minutes. at 10:45. I walked to the counter. There is a box sitting out with my three tenders and fries in it. when someone notices me they finally add the biscuit, and the extra biscuit. so all in all it took 16 minutes to get my order. by then my fries were cold and soggy. chicken was cold. although the wait stuff was friendly, I was not impressed with the service. There was even a manager in the lobby working on paperwork who didn t seem too concerned about how slow they were at serving customers.

Ordered online at 4pm, went to pick it up through the drive thru at 4:15 and nobody was at the speaker OR the drive through window, waited for a few mins, then honked and still saw nobody inside. Finally had to go inside and someone eventually came out and said only 3 people were working. Manager needs to hire more people or be there with the people working. It took until 4:45 to get a sandwich with 2 sides and a 12 piece wings with a side and drink AND they almost forgot one of my sides and I had to go back and knock on the door for someone to answer so I could get it. Thats ridiculous! Should have comped our order or given us a free meal or something for making us wait 45 mins for 2 small meals. Edit: the wings werent even the right flavors

Apparently this location has a problem with frying chicken strips. Wife went in there the other day and wanted chicken strips, was told they were frozen, they didnt have any, I was like, thats ok we will wait. Bro tell me why I was in line for half an hour at the window waiting for them to take our order, and everyone else waiting in line behind us left. We went inside to find plenty of employees in the kitchen, a lady in the back smoking a cigarette, health code violations and terrible customer service. As we were waiting someone from DoorDash even came in and complained that their customers said they were missing several sides. They were out of everything yet still managed to get our order wrong as well. And to top it off when I got home the chicken was raw. 10/10 def recommend

Had to wait a very long time to order due to what I can only assume was a female shift lead / supervisor tying up the cash register along with being argumentative with an older gentleman who also appeared to be a shift lead / supervisor. In my opinion, the other register should have been used, and their discussion should have been held in the back. Food was good, just off-putting to have to wait so long. Employees were kind, but I feel like I waited over 20 minutes for no reason when I got home, and my order isnt even remotely correct. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich, fries, large sweet tea (correct), bacon and cheese classic chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese, med sweet tea (received regular classic chicken sandwich), 5 piece spicy tender, large mashed potato, large unsweet tea (I received a second large Mac n cheese instead of potato), and I received an extra classic chicken sandwich that I didnt order. This place is nuts, and its surprising that theyre still in business. To be fair, if you can actually get your food its pretty decent. Its not the best fried chicken, or sides, but its decent. If you can get it. This is consistently the single slowest fast food place Ive ever been. When you pull up in the drive through your wait begins. Surely, this means your food will be hot and fresh, right? Your naivety is refreshing, dear reader. Every. Time. My last trip here, and I do mean last, really took the cake. I ordered, among other things, a plain and dry chicken sandwich and a flounder sandwich with extra tarter sauce. Upon arriving home, I discovered that I had two chicken sandwiches with mayo, one with pickles. So, back to the restaurant I go. When I explained my issue, they said: Oh, thats because were out of flounder. ...why didnt you tell me that when I ordered it? Well we gave you a chicken sandwich because its the same price. You gave me two wrong sandwiches is what you gave me. Well, we can replace the chicken sandwich if you want. Yes, yes I do freaking want. What about the flounder sandwich. I dunno, I guess we can give you something else. Tenders, then. They gave me 3 tenders, which cost less than what I paid for the sandwich. And made no effort to make up for my time they wasted. So I filled out a survey on their website. Corporate called me, apologized, and said the local manager would contact me the next day to issue a refund. It has been a week, and Ive heard nothing. Tl;dr This place is terrible in all ways. Both chicken express and golden chick are close, go there instead. It has been over a year now. Still waiting for the manager to call me. Do not go here.

Stopped going because it was just ridiculous. The new General Manager is just amazing. In three weeks he has turned this place around. The bathroom/lobby are so much cleaner. Okay so we went to this Popeyes at night and it was sketchy af. The guy had us pull up all the way to the entrance door to get our food. I came through the drive through last night and I know I was a hot mess I was upset (not anything to do with this establishment or employees) the 2 people I spoke with there were beyond nice and friendly. It really made my whole day. One of them even made a point to tell me to enjoy the nice weather and to get home safe. Very personable thank you Popeyes staff the food was really good as well
