Great afterwork spot...splash pad open until 8pm.. playground right next to splash area helps keep eyes on kids. Restrooms clean and open until 7pm.. plenty of sitting area...

This park has had a new facelift it has a splash pad for the kids in all new playground equipment thank you Mesquite Playground: The playground is brand new Toilets: Probably the best restrooms Ive seen in a park so far brand new clean in the upkeep is amazing Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly but keep your dog on a leash Picnic area: They have awning picnic areas that are perfect for a picnic with the family

The reason I went to the park was because of the new water park right next door. Its great for hot weather and to cool off a little. The park is very well cared for and well maintained. I didnt realize if there were bathrooms nearby or not, but it has areas with tables and shade. Great for children of various ages and sizes. Playground: Spacious and in very good condition Picnic area: Metal tables in various shady locations. Covered terrace pays for large events with easy accessibility to the park.

Now that the playground is updated, this place feels like a hidden gem. The splash pad is great and the playground works for my tiny toddlers all the way up to our middle schooler. Playground: Love the revamped playground! Super fun for toddlers up to middle school age kids.

The city added a Spray Zone, a small water facility for kids. They have replaced the rubber mat on the play zone, rope pyramid, water fountain , and trash can, and the gazebo has been updated or replaced. They also have built a restroom. Its crowded during late afternoons, and parking is limited.

Love this park!!!...and it will now be even greater...Clay Mathis Park now closed. Clay Mathis Park is closed due to construction. The spray pad, playground, and restroom improvements are scheduled to begin on June 1. The park will re-open this fall.

This is a lovely little park. There werent many visitors while I was there. It was a beautiful sunny 80 degree day with a nice breeze blowing. I didnt investigate too much, staying near the playground doing some photography of Black Cat Symbiote playing on the big web. Pretty and quiet.

Peaceful, clean, spacious, good seating areas, the only problem was ants way too many ants. As soon as the kids drop food the are underneath was covered ants... May need to be treated for ants.. Ant bites are no fun. Aside from that, it is a great park.

I really like this playground because of ground that have. Its perfect for little ones (like my son who is 15months) to run around and if they fall, they dont get seriously injured. Its a great walk from our house just wish there was more young kid friendly equipment.

Park is clean and open. Good area for a small group. 2 power plugs available in the pavillion. No restrooms. The rubber on a small part in the play place needs to be fixed to avoid further damage or injury to users.

Love this park! It is quiet, and the kids love to play with the jungle gym there. It s on the soft rubbery material, so no sand or bark to deal with. There is a covered pavilion with tables too.
