Rooms: The room was very clean and I didnt find a roach at all in the room and we were there for 3 nights and 4 days ! Kudos to whomever they heard for an exterminator! Nearby activities: Plenty of things to do that are close and interesting !! Safety: Every time theres was a worker doing somethings they placed the proper signs to warn the occupants of the inn from workers working to wet floor signs! Walkability: There are many restaurants and business in walking distance and very easily accessible for the patrons of this inn!! Food and drinks: They carry a wide variety of things for drinks and snacks at reasonable prices! Noteworthy details: Staff was very attentive to all things asked and always polite exceptions of 1 young man whom dose not belong at a front desk when working where hospitality is key!! Other than that the rest of the people who work there are awesome and very kind and helpful ! Would most definitely stay here again ,I would definitely give this inn 3 or 4 stars over there actual star rating!!

The bed and floor / desk area had cockroaches on it. Bed frame was broken, mattress bent in a V shape, toilet screamed like a banshee when flushed. Parking area was obstructed and not easy to park. Please run, this place is gross! Please read the other reviews, numerous roach complaints, numerous lack of cleanliness complaints, etc. Rooms: dirty, roach infested, broken

worst worst worst It was an accommodation I never wanted to experience again in my life. The staff was unfriendly, the stairs were all broken, the sink was rusty and the prices were incomprehensible. I went to get my son admitted to the dormitory and found the worst hotel. The facilities were uncomfortable. I could tolerate that, but I couldnt stand the unpleasant smell, so I wrote this. Please take note, everyone.

Sign says renovated rooms. Clarification there... new paint on walls. Plus if offered room 130, dont take it. It smells like a cat has been living in the room (so you can just imagine the smell). We addressed this with the front desk, and all we received was, awwww... sorry about that. No offer for a new room, discount, or any other concession. A significant number of other patrons were sitting outside their rooms drinking, smoking cigs, weed, etc. Location is great, but if you are looking for an inexpensive and clean hotel.. look somwwhere else. Rooms: Fresh paint and new bed covers. Everything else is the same. Smelt like cat urine. Noteworthy details: The whole place had a weird smell. From the office to the rooms. With people outside drinking and smoking weed. It felt very unsafe.

They got roaches , front office is very misleading . Front office appears very presentable, It appears clean however they have baby German roaches that come out at night I took a video of one crawling up the chair , but I can only upload photos beyond that it s 12:06 am in the morning and there are numerous people out by the pool ( not inside the fence but at a table outside next to it ) drinking, being loud and playing music and staff is doing nothing about it. I have an 8 year old child w me , I could say a lot more bc it s very easy to breakdown the situation here but just take my word and go to a different hotel Rooms: Has Roaches , appear clean and decent , but I would not recommend. I m upset ! It s also unbelievable that people can just be out after midnight talking loudly and having a gathering w music and the hotel is ok w it ? I m guna say beyond I wouldn t recommend to , do not come here .

Do not stay, this place is infested with German cockroaches. We attempted to stay here during hurricane Beryl. First, we found a cockroach inside the coffee maker and another on the desk. Later into the night, baby cockroaches started appearing EVERYWHERE. They were running all over the floor and up the furniture. We kept trying to kill them but they kept coming. We promptly packed and left at 3 AM. Management still has not issued a full refund after many attempts to contact.

Room was pricey for the size, 2 queens, with little room to move around, ROACHES everywhere. In the bathroom, around the beds, even placed food down on the counter, and one was crawling on our food. During hurricane Beryl, no hotel rooms were available, so we stayed, but not without buying roach spray and exterminating ourselves. Other guest stated the same problem in their rooms. This invasion didnt happen over night. What a poor, unhealthy way to greet your guest. Rooms: Rooms looked to be clean, not spacious when entering. TV and lamps did not work. Then we saw them, ROACHES. In the bathroom, on the counters, around the beds. Management corrected the Tv and lamps. Said oh sorry about the roaches. We took it upon ourselves to use bug spray ourselves. Other guest stated they had the same problem in their room. Walkability: Several restaurants close by, easy walking trip Noteworthy details: $48 rooms were now $84. Rooms looked clean but infested with roaches. Easily counted 10-14 at one time. Other guest stated their rooms were the same. Unfortunately, due to the hurricane, all hotels were booked. We purchased bug spray and sprayed the room ourselves.

Me and my kids stayed here after an event that we attended and within 30 minutes I killed four roaches in our room. They were crawling across the floor crawling on our things and when called the front desk we were taken as a joke and asked to bring the roaches to the front desk as proof so I scooped them up and took them to the guy then he offered us a different room to move to at 3am . Rooms: Infested with roaches! Safety: If you need to wash beware because the washer and dryers are located outdoors in one of the motel alleyways by other rooms.

Only positive thing about this stay was its location. Sign states renovated rooms however this was not the case and the pictures online do not match what we actually experienced. First thing we noticed was someone else s toothbrush and toothpaste were left in the tissue slot. Went to the restroom only to see the air vent filled with dust and dried boogers were stuck on the wall next to the roll of toilet paper. TV stand was broken and had a bunch of paint peeled off. We woke up to a cricket on our towel and another one next to our shoes. A paper clip was painted over too. This room was very dirty and outdated. After speaking to management the only thing they could do was give us a small refund. Worst experience we ve ever had at a hotel. Noteworthy details: Would not stay here again.

The description said recently renovated,actually only the main lobby was properly renovated .As u can see in the pictures,the room was unprofessionally renovated.There were a couple of bugs in the room.Dirty bed base and I slept afraid there were bed bugs.I was going to leave but it was late .also there were no rooms available since there was a game that night(soccer).speaking of that the whole hotel community seems to be in sync with price gouging since every hotel was over 200 dollars a night that night only.thats over 200 for a cheap hotel like this one up to 500 for the Better ones.I wonder if theyll ever be consumer protection and not just hide behind supply and demand. Rooms: Dont know the right word but it seemed like the neighbor with little construction skills renovated the room. Jerri rigged some stuff. And everything metal in the room rusted.

Honestly, I know there are nicer, newer hotels out there, but you cannot beat the hospitality of this place. Everybody is very nice. The manager Hayden was very accommodating and let me know I was a valued customer. The rooms are very clean and reasonably priced in a college town where it can get crazy expensive. So if youre in the area, stop in and ask for Hayden. Im sure hell have a fresh pot of coffee brewed for you. And dont be shy to ask for a noon checkout lol I probably shouldnt have said that. Nearby activities: There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance of this place. They also have a wide selection of drinks and snacks with someone manning the window after hours.

The soap and shampoo are so tiny. Many tv channels/shows are unauthorized. Like just regular shows. Watched the news channel and Seinfeld back to back. The most disappointing thing of all was, their paper thin walls. We heard the male in the room next door coughing all night long. Also parking is dark. Not much area to park.

The staff are so kind and understanding! The hotel manager, Hiren was always willing and helpful with ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as they could make it. Room was basically clean except for the phone jack as pictured. We booked the room in order to attend an A&M graduation ceremony and the price was 4x the normal rate (I understand the economics of charging more when demand is high) but I did not expect for the rooms to be in such need for repair/updating. The backing was coming off the mirror, towel rack was rusted, paint/ceiling was sagging, etc. towels, bed linens, tub/shower were all clean and staff was friendly. Just not what I expected for the price.

I stayed here for about 10 weeks. They prioritize drunks partying all night outside. The rooms are okay, but the Indian couple who manages the place are terrible. The management lives on the property and if knock on their door, they will call the police. The only good thing about this place is that they allow puppies. Other than that, you will have no peace.

The staff here are the best I have ever encountered anywhere except Naples Italy, but that is a very long story. From the time I checked in to checking out the staff were fantastic. I arrived very late on a Friday night, driving through a terrible thunderstorm, tired, wet and exhausted. The guy working the check-in desk was a breath of fresh air. I asked about where to get breakfast and he provided me a thorough and detailed run down of restaurants, hours and locations, and he picked a perfect room for me too! The cleaning staff made sure my room was clean, and they clean everyday, not like the $250/night hotel down the street that only cleans if you stay longer than three days. Then there is Hiren who went out of his way to get me some very important and personal things that I had forgetten in the room. Hiren by the way is the manager and makes sure all guests are attended to in the best fashion possible. Though the hotel is older it is very clean and neat; something that is very important to me. I have stayed at expensive hotels that were dirty, musty and disgusting. My daughter just got accepted to A&M and I will only stay here next time I am in town.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in College Station and I had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was great and the heater worked great. I had my cat with me and she loved it and enjoyed having her own bed except when she wanted to sleep under the covers on my bed. I would definitely stay there again.

I first want to start out my thanking the entire staff at Red Roof Inn for taking such amazing care of me and my family while we stayed for the many weeks at Red Roof Inn - College Station. Hiren and Poonam have made wonderful renovations and continue to strive to make Red Roof Inn the best place to stay when traveling to Bryan/College Station! As a travel nurse, it was important that I was able to have a quiet environment for sleep, somewhere to wash my clothes, a clean shower with great water pressure, a comfy mattress with clean sheets, a TV with the ability to connect my FireStick, and a refrigerator to store food. Red Roof Inn did NOT disappoint. The rates that I was given each week were unbeatable! I highly recommend becoming a RediRewards member because I was able to accrue free night(s) stays in such a short time! From the front desk staff, to the housekeeping, to the maintenance everyone was amazing and I will not forget my stay. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of us! Came down for a few days. Room was clean when I came in. All basic accommodations. Walking distance from plenty of stores and shops. The first morning I woke up, there were roaches crawling on one of the dressers... I wont be staying here again. 6/10 I dont recommend unless youre comfortable sleeping next to (possibly with) cockroaches. Rooms: Room was clean and nice. Average hotel accommodation. TV is a little outdated, fridge worked great. Roaches, though, on the dresser, YUCK! Nearby activities: There is a shopping center right across the street with a dollar store and a high-end thrift style store. Kept me busy when I wasnt out. Walkability: I did not come with a vehicle so walkability was big for me. There are enough shops close enough that I felt my time was fully consumed, not lacking.

The room was plain but clean. The staff were great. The beds were okay but I brought in my own pillow to use. Good water pressure and temp. The washer and dryer were great. They both did well and the dryer only took one time. Decent price, they take quarters, and easy access to them. Big area to walk your pet and they had poo bags. The room price was also very decent. Connected to the parking lot...(if youre on a diet dont read this part)... Shipleys Donuts and Arbys. Other restaurant choices are also nearby.

I had a wonderful stay on December 5th & 6th. The room was veey clean and very comfortable. I loved having a microwave and small refrigerator in my room. Rooms: I totally enjoy my room because of great internet that I could do some work on my computer at a deck with power outlets and good lighting. I stayed here for about a month and a half due to transitioning to a new location. Here was my experience: The front staff was very nice and professional. Specifically, the general manager Hiren. They made me a home away from home. Although, this is not the most luxurious place to stay, for people like myself who need a great deal in relation to room quality, this is the place for you. Location: Close to restaurants, gym and stores. About a 12 min commute to A&M Some improvements: they did have some pests in one of the rooms, but they quickly switched my room and gave a free upgrade for the inconvenience. The man at the front desk was the rudest person I have met on my trip to Texas and honestly could learn a thing or two about respect. Basically told me I m being kicked out on the day I m leaving anyways. Just because my friend visited during the day. I stayed alone at night because the booking said I was the only staying. Every time I walked to the room with my friend I was questioned like I m a horrible person breaking rules. On top of that the bathroom lock was broken, bed frame is falling off the wall, dresser drawer basically is broken. Don t ever stay at this hotel if you can avoid it. Just because the rates seem good don t mean the people are. Avoid at all cost.

I have stayed my fair share at red roof inn. Many different locations and many many different rude employees.. I would have said the same about this one but before I could say anything there was new management and staff. And I haveto say by far these people are truly the kindest most hospitable people I have ever ran across in any hotel.. I will most definitely come back as long as they are here.. Management only reacts to problems. There is no preventative maintenance. So lots of things are old & broken. Manager father & son are from India. Father is very friendly, son is not. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean. TV has 6 HBO channels. 2.5 stars.

I WILL NEVER STAY AT OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! IVE NEVER EVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY. READ OTHER REVIEWS, THEY TYPICALLY DONT RESPOND TO THE BAD ONES. We made reservations via Expedia and checked in Friday night with the desk man. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. The desk manager said that due to Expedias booking, we would have to check out Saturday morning and they would simply check us back in for the Saturday night stay. I thought it strange, but was no big deal. We went in Saturday morning, the nice girl checked us out and checked us right back in. SAME ROOM. Sunday morning the guy who checked us in Friday goes ballistic on me. 4 or 5 harassing calls Sunday morning around 30 minutes prior to check out. By the third call, this man was yelling at me saying we were in the wrong room. I did hang up on him as I told him Id be down to the front desk to check out before 11 am, but he kept calling back. I went to the office to check out and Ill admit, I was not in a good mood at this point. I raised my voice and asked him who the heck he thought he was yelling at. I am a paying customer and if I am in the wrong room, it was him that made the mistake. He then makes a call on his cell phone and not one but two police officers show up. He said he feared for his safety. The lobby had other guests trying to check out and this guy keeps yelling at me about being in the wrong room. How can I be in the wrong room when the hotel employees assign the rooms. The police finally just told us we could leave as the conversation was going nowhere with the desk employee. I could keep rambling on, but the bottom line is this: I paid, they assigned the room, no one asked us to move rooms, BUT I WILL NEVER STAY OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE EVER. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED WAS THE WORST!!!!!!

there were not one, not two, but THREE creepy people staying in the rooms surrounding mine and my friends room. at first they were just outside when we happen to go out to walk the dog. then they were out every time we left the hotel and they watched us every step of the way. they kept asking how long we d be staying. at some point we could hear them talking about us and saying NASTY things about us and anytime we d look outside or open the door, they would be speaking to one another ABOUT US right in front of our door. we spoke to management and was told that we should ve said something sooner and pretty much it was too late. my friend thought she left her purse there and when she came back, one of the people (a man) told her she was attractive and he would love it if she d be staying longer as he wanted to hit that (all of that was typed to me appropriate and not nearly as creepy as he said it) along with the creepy people we were dealing with, you could hear every single thing that was said in the room next to ours (which was full of creepy people) and i m sure they could hear us. the dresser with the TV did not open and had like string or something to open it, yet it still would not open. oh and our dog found a TOOTH on the ground. i could not be more serious. my friend picked it up and we both realized what it was and wanted fo VOMIT. how creepy?! A HUMAN TOOTH???

The air worked, had hot water, iron/board, refrigerator, and comfy beds all positive The hotel is older, room obviously had a lot of parties in it smelled of smoke/stale beer. Vinyl floor made it feel cleaner than if had carpet. The price made it easier to stay.

My husband and I got a jacuzzi tub room. It was nice and looked like it had recently been remodeled. The only complaints are that the door was slightly difficult to open and the refrigerator in the room appeared to have a broken leg and required quite a bit of force to open it. Also the bed was kinda hard but didnt effect our stay to much. Other than that it was decent and we enjoyed it.

The room was clean and comfortable...once we found it. The layout of the place is kind of odd...even numbered rooms on one side of the buildings and odd numbered rooms on the other side. Buildings have no numbers on the outside to indicate the room numbers in the building and the numbers on the doors are too small to see from your car.

The hotel was convenient to where we needed to be. It was mostly clean. The furniture was old. The dresser had 2 x 4s screwed to the bottom of the sides. The heat and air worked properly. The room had a small fridge and microwave. We didnt spend much time in the room so we were ok staying there. The sign outside said updated rooms... I dont think we had one of those... Nearby activities: Plenty of places around to shop and eat. Very close to Texas A&M. Walkability: You can walk to a few restaurants although its a busy area for traffic.

I am giving these guys a 5 because they have renovated the rooms and such great service! The owners are awesome and really do everything to make sure your stay is comfortable. Front desk staff lady is very rude Reserve two rooms and they are not close. Clerk gives me a snarky comment when i complain stating my kids will be there alone. Get to the second room and its not clean, Sheets on the floor , dirty towels in the sink . I go to tell her and she says she has proof by her sign off sheet that it was clean . That Im just mad that they arent close together. I said no . That My kids where getting their Blankets and pillows out of the car and when I asked why they said the room is not clean . I actually didnt believe them So i checked and it was not clean . I told them no they are not Staying in a dirty room The front desk clerk said well i have proof that it was cleaned . I said i dont care what proof you have This is what we found . My kids said yes maam sheets were on The floor and towels in the sink. She still basically called us liars. She is snarky and really knows how to push your buttons . I admit she upset me and I was going to apologize for getting upset. Until ....as shes getting the new key Set up she Writes and says out loud so that I can hear her that the previous room was clean . Again insinuating were lying .

The new owners are awesome. Just as all the workers here. They do everything they can to make our stay enjoyable. They are super friendly. Prices are some of the best in town. Always making improvements, new chairs, microwaves, paint, awesome new grill! We have stayed at least in 8 different hotels since moving back here and this one is the best overall deals we have found. Id even pay a little more to stay as the management and team members are all super friendly and that is so rare these days. Dont go by older reviews as they dont really even apply anymore. This hotel has changed for the better and as a High Rated Google Reviewer, I highly recommend you try it out, even if youve had a bad experience before, you wont be sorry. Lots of business & restaurants in walking distance.

He was suppose to give me a refund on the room, said he did and It has not hit my account yet. He lied and is not a man of integrity! There are a lot better options in the area. The lady at the front desk was really nice. I accidentally booked a smoking room instead of non smoking. She couldnt change the room but had housekeeping to spray the room to help get rid of smoke smell. When get to the room had several flies that where annoying killed most of them and later saw a roach crawling on the floor. Im not afraid to see a roach. But for a hotel just down the street from A&M theyd take take pride in the inside as well as the outside. Room was outdated cracks in the wall in the bathroom. Seriously needs a remodel.

After along day I came back to my room to shower, my friend came and told me to turn off the shower it was leaving. I stepped outside and slipped and fell on my knee because the water was everywhere. When I went down to tell the front desk manager he said it was my fault because I was tired. Accusing me of negligence, and said how could the tub leak. I mentioned to come with me to show him the damage to my suit case clothes etc. he refused he refused to call a manager, file a report for my fall, off a discount and said it was my fault. He said we could check out or switch rooms in the middle of the night. And said he would be giving any type of refund and that I fell on my own. I have all videos of the room and walls leaking the water and my items damaged. Worst experienced worst customer service and the refusal to aid in filing a claim for my fall is unacceptable. I will be escalating this issue. And making sure that this does not happen again and if I have to take legal matter I will because I attempted to do it the civil way.

The customer service is GARBAGE! Do not stay here! I was checking in with a friend, but the room was booked under my name. I called ahead to let them know that it was her, but Id give her my card and ID. Apparently thats not good enough. Ive checked in under other peoples cards at PLENTY of places, and the most thats required is a form. But no. The Red Roof Inn is too fancy for that! Then when I complained about this, the front desk guy gave nothing but attitude and said I was causing problems. Dont stay here if you can avoid it. Edit to add that when I called and was trying to resolve this(I asked how they addressed business customers with the same issue), he HUNG UP ON ME!

Don t go here! I booked a room here for my Aggie before fish camp but when she arrived they had given her room to someone else. Called and asked to speak with a manager. Waited on hold for half an hour. Then they hung up. Called back. Waited more. Finally the front desk lady tells me the manager just isn t interested in talking to me. This property appears to have zero interest in taking care of guests or even doing what they say they ll do.

My dog and me stayed here for three nights due to the fact that they dont charge extra for dogs thats the only reason. Whenever was going on next door they were loud obnoxious and sound like construction going on all night long who knows what they were up to. In fact the manager was over there half the night. It seems Red Roof bought this from Manor Inn. The new signage hadnt arrived yet, so the name was written on a tarp. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a few bugs, beetles, wasps, but it is Spring. It took a day for the dead bugs to be swept up. But all in all, not bad. Some of the other renters were outside all night until like 3-4 a.m. so was kind of loud. All in all was an ok place. If Red Roof cleans it up a bit and gets pest control, I would change to good. College Station is a big small town. There really is no bad location depending on what you are looking for :)

Nice quiet property, good wi-fi ! Room is large, clean, and comfortable, park right by your room. Coffee, vending, water refill station @ lobby. In the King room: iron +board w/ sanitary cover, big flat-screen, soaps & shampoo, towels, bath mat, 5 pillows, two desks & chairs, 4 lamps, hair dryer; fridge, coffee maker, microwave, big mirrors, luggage rack, hangers, 3 big drawers, 6 cups, ice caddy w/ liner. Heat and A/C 10/10. The WC and bath tub are in a seperate room with a door, seperate light, and a fan. Full size tub + shower with lots of good hot water.

Not worth the money. The air conditioner sounded like we were next to an airport every time it turned on. If we shut it down the room got stuffy. A better deal for the money would be Motel 6. Maybe this will be a nice place once the very loud renovations are finished
