Everything is just OK. The burgers, the drinks, the service. I feel like its hit a wall, and nothing is fresh anymore. Every visit the burger of the day is camel. Using movie stars to pick up your order has lost its luster and is no longer funny or unique. Get real soda options and change your iced tea photos. Barely any of your millennials get the reference. I feel like its turned into a bad dad joke, and I already know the punchline.

Been a fan of Twisted since like 2006 in Deep Ellum, but have not had the same experience at a franchise location until today! Verde Burger with Goat cheese added was one of the best burgers I have ever had... and I used to do a Burger Club... Yall straight crushed it . Dont sleep on the classics even in a different spot.. love is love and they put plenty in that one.. only complaint was I wanted another one and had to stop myself. Keep Killin it yall!

Awesome burgers ! Full of flavor and a very rare thing ..it was a piping hot fresh burger! I had the millionaire waygu burger and the big Tex burger. Millionaire was a little heavy on the truffle aïoli but it was absolutely delicious!!!! Big text burger was great!! Pickle bar was cool as well. Great spot with not so great parking if front 7/8 spots are taken.

Good service. Pleasant atmosphere. My party was pleased with food. I needed more variety and we weren t fans of the fried carrots.we sat just outside the restroom not realizing we would be startled 5x when the restroom door hit the wall by our booths. This place is okay. The burgers were just okay. They are on par with just about every other standard burger place except you only get the burger and have to pay extra for the side. The side we got (cheese fries) were not that great. The fries seemed undercooked, so they were just mush under the cheese. I would suggest you try the place once for yourself. As the food is okay, just not great. The biggest reason for giving 2 stars and not 4 was that they asked for a tip when you have to go up to the counter to order. You have to go up to the counter to pick up your order. There was no service given yet they want you to give a tip.

Always great service. I have been to almost every Twisted Root around and this is my favorite. Tanner is always checking on people and Kelcy is just as awesome. Everytime I come in I feel like I am treated great. Only complaint I would say is bring back the Kevin Bacon. I always get it the the Twisted Root at DFW Airpot in terminal A Everytime I fly. Keep up the great work.

Just an Oklahoman passing through, and let me tell you, everything is perfect here. The portion is monstrous, and both my wife and I barely finished our food and had to take them home. Its like the saying goes everything is big in Texas! The staff and atmosphere are exceptional! And if you are into the rarer kind of meat, they do serve them. My favorite part about the place is the celebrity name they called you for the order. That, and all the Chuck Norris meme in the toilet is just spectacular. 10/10

The burgers were okay, as were the fries. Pickle barrels with a choice of 5 types from mild to deadly was an intersting deal. You weee able to try them all and as many as you wanted. Decor was very Texan and authentic! Bar area had lots of choices in both beer and mixed drinks. Food was self service with a walk up counter and they called your actor name , ours was Vince Vaughn so you can pick up your food when ready. Customer service was pretty much nonexistent since you picked up your own food and they didn t have to come to your table. Is a matter of fact nobody ever came by the table to ask if everything was All and all it s a One and done for me. Give it a try, you might have a different opinion.

First time in Dallas and this was a fun find if you are a vegan traveling with a non-vegan. Check out their pickle bar while you wait to have your celebrity name called out to pick up your order. We were Master Chief. I got their vegan burger and fries. Margaritas were good but on the weak side. The food was tasty and I wished the portions were bigger. We were a group of three families, the place was lovely and we had the option to stay indoor or outdoor. We chose indoor, still enjoyed the sunlight and breeze of outdoor through their wide open doors. The pickles bar was a plus and their root beer is for refill. The only bad thing I had was my burger was so salty, so let my friends know and asked the chef to reduce it. I can t tell if my burger was good because I really didn t feel anything but salt. But everyone said they were good. No waiters to serve, so go and ask, grab your menu and do your order. It takes around 10-15 minutes to be ready.

We came here after landing in Dallas and waiting for our hotel. I really liked all of the pickle options, but I shouldn t have gotten the fried pickles with the large pickle bar. The burger was good and had a good spicy level with the jalapeños. After talking it over again with my girlfriend who doesn t do many reviews, I realize I was a bit harsh with my initial review. I got the gosh jam it burger and my husband got the western burger. Both were okay, fairly tasty. They have a sign that says they cook their burgers medium but both of our burgers were definitely well done. My husband got the twisted mule (which was great) and I got the tiki rita, which ended up being a bit too sweet for my liking. The bathroom was pretty gross, there was a random chair in the middle of it, and the towel dispenser was broken. The light above our table was broken and flickering and buzzing so it was like we were eating under a strobe light. Just a bunch of little stuff that individually doesnt matter too much, but all together made me want to leave as quickly as I could. I would definitely choose Hopdoddy or Shake Shack over this restaurant.

Service is not really a thing here since you order and then pick up your own food. The bar service has been good in my experience. Parking: There is a parking garage behind the restaurant. Came by the other day with my friend for lunch. I ordered the Gosh Jam It, substituting Camel game meat for the beef, and Treat-Yo-Self Twisted Cheese Fries: both are pictured with the review. The fries tasted very good and are a great portion for sharing. I especially liked it with the Horseradish sauce they had on the tables. Only issue is that the cheese on the fries were completely hardened even though my friend and I started eating it as soon as it was out. I expected it to be melted cheese like queso, but maybe this is how it is served? Regardless, it tasted great and helped to keep the fries together. The Gosh Jam It was amazing!!! I loved how the salty and savory blue cheese contrasted with the sweet bacon jam. The camel meat also gave the patty a denser, maybe chewier, texture, which I really enjoyed. Would love to come back for this burger alone.

Some of the best burgers weve had. The fries are great too. We didnt like the fried carrots and green beans as much as we thought we would, but everything else was fantastic.

As a first timer, the place is awesome. And the prices are reasonable. Parking: Streets are always crowded with cars due to the apartment complex. Food : 5/5 |

This is my second time coming here. The first time the food was delicious! Today I came to pick up I tried to call and place an order but no one was picking up the phone and I called 3 times until someone answered. My food was a bit pricey. I understand prices like that for a great burger but this burger was soggy and the fries felt like they ve been sitting there for a while. Hope this was just a one time thing. Other than that this place was great when I first had it.

I love this burger place. Right now they have the Verde burger which is incredible! I love green chile so pile it on, please! I do wish it was a bit more spicy but oh well. I want to try the shakes but never have enough room after a burger. We also tried the fried green beans and carrots. We did not like them and their serving size was pretty small. I liked the fried pickles though, and their chipotle dipping sauce.

The Brisket burger was amazing.. it starts out tall, but once you SMASH it down and bite into it... yummy goodness just explodes. The onion strings are crispy and fresh, the pickles are to DIE FOR!! especially for a Picklehead like myself. The other burger was a pepperjack cheese BBQ cheddar it was good also.

Burgers are good here. Their buns are sturdier than some and it didnt get soggy. I had the one with guacamole and onion rings and other person got shrooms burger. We shared an order of onion rings.

It was surprisingly slow. Hardly any people there and the people behind the bar look at me in a non-welcoming manner when I entered, which was a red flag from the beginning but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The food was pretty average. Talking with the bar tender was probably the best part. The milk shake machine was down, which was a disappointment. I went there specifically for the milkshakes. 3.5 stars I feel is fair. I probably should have listened to my gut. You can usually tell how your experience is going to be based on how youre received when you enter. (Perhaps that is why business is slow for them?) DFW is huge. And people love to eat! If youre not getting business it says a lot about your service.
