Horrible experience, terrible security and awful service. NEVER COME HERE!! Save your time and money. We spent top dollar coming here only to be told we could not stand for our front row concert tickets. I m sorry but if I bought front row tickets, I expect to enjoy myself and stand up if my all time favorite singer is performing. I m 5 foot nothing. If you can t see behind me, stand up, don t call security on me because I m enjoying myself. Would rather fill my eyes with acid than support this venue again.

My experience was great, the Rodeo was full of enthusiasm, and the food was ok, and also they had Greg Street as the DJ, also Rich Homie Quan performance was on point. The young girls and boys did and awesome job riding sheep, cattle, an horses right a long with with Cowgirls and Cowboys/ Ladys & Gentlemen that where roping, riding horses around the barrels, an cant forget the bull riding, the youngest to adults where amazing. The song selection was non stop with favorite hit songs, and they had a guest artist to perform. I had great time with family and friends in the suite we where in for the extravaganza they had available for us celebrate the up coming Cowgirls & Cowboys of the future. Ill be returning to the next event that shall be held at Mesquite Arena. Stay blessed and keep God first.

We went for a Mesquiteisd/concert event. Seat are not made for this. Staff are pleasant. Food is way expensive for what you get. Enjoyed the concert but I feel if youre going to be pro rodeo maybe update a little.

Giving a 1 because I cant give 0 by far the worst venue I have ever been to. For 1. I paid $240 on link posted on the mesquite rodeo page for scotty mccreery tickets that were worth 20. 2. Asked to exchange them they said no. 3. Was charged $56 for 1 beer and a ranch water. 4 paid for food nachos and sausage on a stick. No stick and the sausage was frozen. 5. Was told the concert would be on the tvs but if you look in the picture I posted they were not on and we were to far to really see. 6. They cant even get the correct back toilet bowl lids see picture. This is ridiculous I stay far away billy bobs, southern junction, belton rodeo is so much better and worth the extra drive to be treated respectfully.

This place is a joke when it comes to huge events just to being in more money, why over pack a place with very little restroom is supposed to be a family friendly place where one can take kids and when they search you supposedly for safety and I don t smoke but noticed cigarette and vapes taken away but yet alot of men were seen doing drugs snorting away, then the event said starts at 1 and started super late at 4 !! The security treats you like you are entering a correctional or something so unprofessional and to think of the money we spent for this !! Makes Mesquite look super bad , place need s super improvements.

Good rodeos, but seems like on a hot day, when the arena is pretty full, the AC cant keep up in keeping the place cool. Was virtually the same temperature inside and out, when I was there. Sound system quality was so bad that the announcer and the clown could not be understood, which is a pity because their banter is usually pretty funny.

If it wasnt for the food being so disgusting and over priced I would of gave a 5 star . Lets see . Hamburger, stale bun. Ice cold fries , as my husband was walking up the stairs, hes holding a ice cold , dark almost black pretzel with table salt on it . , boiled hot dog. 2 , 6oz of soda for 3.50 a piece. And the over advertise AC. It was at least 85 in there hot dog Hamburger Fries 2 sodas : 4,000 pennies

Air conditioned, enclosed arena. Clean restrooms. No bad seat in the house. Only bad thing is all stadium seating is metal benches and your bottom will be numb real quick so bring a seat cushion. Great entertainment for the whole family.

It could be a fun night out, especially with the kids if there werent so many breaks in the action. I think in the over 2 hour show there was maybe 45 minutes of actual rodeo action. This isnt worth the money or time you spend in traffic leaving. Do yourself a favor and find one of the many Ranch Rodeos found out on real ranches in the Springtime. Much more action and it is teams of real cowboys from various ranches in the area competing doing things cowboys actually do on a ranch.

Nice place, the AC felt good on a hot day. The restrooms were good and clean. The food was good although expensive, but thats kind of expected when at a venue. Parking costs $10 to get in. I dont like having to pay for parking after buying tickets, but it is what it is I guess. The huge screen in the center was great to see things close up and the instant replays were very nice to see the action again. The screen is crystal clear and very bright, Im not sure why it looks so terrible in my photos.

Was looking forward to it for Fathers day. We had second row VIP seats. The place was hot like the ac wasnt working. The brisket sandwich was cold so we didnt eat it. Very disappointed and we left at intermission due to the heat. Will not spend my money here again.

Had a good time at the Monster Truck rally. Its a small venue for this but was fun and not too expensive. Trucks cant get up to speed or do any flips or big jumps. The jumping motorcycles were cool. The facility needs some tlc also. The video screens werent in use but may work. They were also using a different audio system that made it difficult to understand announcer. Bring hearing protection as most need it. Especially kids. If you wait, youll pay $$$ for it. Typical food and beverage selection for this type of event other than the large fruit cups that looked awesome but didnt try. I didnt go to the restroom. Im sure it was operational. It likely needed tlc also.

Haven t been to a rodeo in many years. It was fantastic right up until they started playing music. Not ONE country song! They played nothing but Girl rock. I was shocked ya didn t have Boy George or Sinéad OConnor Singing. Feel sorry for folks that have never been before. Not worth going now whoever was in charge of Fathers Day weekend 2023 , should be fired.

Visited for the 1st time while attending the HipHop Cowboy Rodeo on 3/18. Bought tickets online and apparently their online system was selling seats that werent even available. Most sections do not have seats past #15 but yet sold tons of them. The owner rectified it by putting us in a huge suite but this shouldnt have happened. It happened to more than 50 people. Took us way too long to get seated and by then our food we got coming in was cold.

Had a great outing there at the Rodeo. The arena is climate controlled and family friendly. This was first time for us on visiting the Monster Truck wars show. Loved the place. The staffs were friendly and showed good hospitality. The arena had VIP kiosk for entering the building. The parking space is huge. And the people charge $10/- for parking before entering the parking spot. Its better to reach the venue before an HR to choose your seats. The tickets price vary according to the show in the arena. The food stalls was very near to the arena, which hardly takes 2 minutes to get out and buy the food items. No outside food or drinks are allowed. The show which we went was Truck show, which is happening once a year at the Arena. I got a VIP ticket to have a better view, and it had the best view in the house. The arena also had family boxes, which was situated above the general seatings and VIP seatings, which was also had a great view from the box to watch the show. It was great, fun and loud. Since, the arena is a closed place, the trucks emitted a lot of smoke, which doesnt had much of any exhaust to get out, which made some of the people uncomfortable and some of them went out for some air and then returned back to their seats. On the whole, such a great and different experience. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. The arena was clean and neat. Its a surely recommend place for any shows in the upcoming years.

They put on an awesome display and the $1 hot dogs were popular. There was enough to entertain all ages, including the children riding/falling off sheep. I think the standard $10 cash for parking needs to be reviewed. During the show, the lovey lady (from Venezuela) on the exit did not speak any English, French or Meta, which means communicating that my son needed to go out briefly for some air following a minor allergic reaction to something or a visiting gentlemans questions about the events of the day became problematic.

I had so much fun. Prices on tickets vary. The parking was $10. Gates open at 6 and the rodeo starts at 7:30. They had stands for food and drinks. Food was a bit pricey but not too outrageous. Souvenirs are available. The animals are beautiful and the staffing is amazing. Its worth going at least once to have the experience.

The parking is terrible. A lot of mess to enter. They dont know how to organize. Right now its worse on the way out. It rained and it became very muddy. Here is the taco festival event. And the cars are getting stuck with the mud.

We attended the hip hop Black Rodeo here! Aside from having to park on a hill adjacent from the arena! This was a fun exciting family night ! Music was great no cursing. We appreciated that and still a ton of fun!
