Best Playground in McKinney in my opinion. Splash pad, Restrooms, Walking Trail, lots of trees to provide shade in the summer. Playground is fun and easily accessible to toddlers. We come here at least once a week.

The playground and splash pad are PERFECT for little ones and bigger kids alike! I have an 11 yr old and also a 7 yr old. There is something for everyone to do. I also love that most of the equipment and picnic tables are shaded. There is a restroom facility near by. It is clean by a park s standards. Hours of fun for free! Playground: The equipment is low to the ground and if your little one happens to fall, they will land on soft rubber turf. Picnic area: Tables are shaded and there is plenty of room for many families!

Small park looked clean & safe for family and kids. For me, it was just the start of a run. Ran from there to Bonnie Went park and then some. about 1 mile Bonnie Went Park.

I love thats its small enough for parents to be able to sit down and watch your child in mostly all the park ground and play structure. My 2 yr old loves this park. The only thing is that we stayed there when it got dark, but not night time all the way, and rats started coming out and were walking on the play structure and I know that some children walk/run on there without shoes and some people take their babys that crawl still. I know its near the woods so its normal, but Im adding this so that people know and are a little more cautious for their childs safety since rats can carry diseases and things. The water park is very small but not many people go to this park so its all good! Playground: Small but big enough to play good Toilets: Dirty Picnic area: There are tables near the play structure so you can eat while Watching your children

This is the second time we went there for cricket tournament. I must say this is one of cooler parks in Dallas area. Its situated in a quiet area. The park is surprisingly by trees, so you will always find a shade, if you are attending a sports events. The playground is cool. It will keep any age kids busy for a while. Not to mention that the water sprinkler is just beside the playground. There are trails surrounding the park. I havent got chance to explore them. But with they definitely looks like good trails. There are coffee shops and restaurants not more than 10 minutes away from the park.

I do love that theres everything here for everyone. Theres a splash pad and a large playground with shaded benches right in the middle so you can easily watch your kids no matter where they are! This is great. However, run off from the splash pad makes a swamp of mud on one side, which is a mess but also harbors lots of mosquitoes and bugs. Flies are everywhere! Wasps, etc. Its so much, it almost ruins the experience. My son got stung on the arm twice by a wasp while here. I think maybe with a little better bug/maintenance in the surrounding areas this could be a perfect park.

Amazing park. My kids loved it. Was a bit packed and parking was tight. But it was the weekend. So it was expected. Overall the splash pad was a hit and I love how they have a small kids and big kids section that seamlessly flow together. And oh the walking trails where nice as well. They had a ton of soccer games taking place so we enjoyed all the kids laughing and playing in the background.

This is a fantastic facility with excellent soccer fields and related facilities. There are two sections of the park and they are both good. The lights are really helpful in Fall and Winter. And the walking trail around the park is great for getting your steps in. The disc golf course right next to the park (not 100% sure if it s part of the park) is a great place to watch families play disc golf.

Very shaded in the evenings. Sprawling play structure with squishy mat flooring. Swings surrounded by wood chips, but not shaded. Bathroom facilities, drinking fountains, lots of parking. Great playground for newly walking kiddos Can get really busy during soccer games and practices.

Perfect for little ones! The playground is low to the ground and the floor is the squishy turf stuff. My toddler can play safely on the playground and I dont have to worry about falls. I love that I can watch both the playground and the splashpad from the picnic tables. I can see my oldest running back and forth between the two. Great for different ages and fun for playdates. Moms can stay and mingle at the tables while having an eye on all the kids.

Very nicely lit park for community sporting events. Places designated as spectator zones could use some level fill as recent rains created standing mud through median portion of the grounds. As always public restroom facilities need extreme amounts of care but then anytime you invite Joe Q Public into your amenities thier is undoubtedly going to be any regard for the health and safety of other park patrons...sad state of the world we live in.

Amazing location for children to play. McKinney has gotten so family friendly and there are so many parks for your children. This location is within walking distance from my home. My grandson has a really good time and loves playing with the children that come to this park. I highly recommend it to any parent with young children. It has a water pad, swings, and play equipment, so get your kiddos out there and wear them out, feed them get them showered and nestled into the bed for the evening. Hope that this helps.

Directions to get here are a nightmare and the parking us literally so stressful we almost left before we even played one soccer game. Were here for a tournament and I got so frustrated with the parking, crowded double parked streets that I cried in my car for 5min before getting out for the game.Im that serious!

I like the tree cover there, but the splash pad is so outdated and some of the nozzles are filling up with sediment. About 4-5 tables to sit and eat. Restrooms look like theyve been redone. Still need people coming out at least twice a day to clean em.

We have been here a few times, and the kids have never been disappointed. Lots of neighborhood kids there to play with as well. There are fields to play on, as well as a walking path. Kids love it so we will definitely ne going again
