Wow!! What a great experience, from the friendly staff (Rita) to the quality of the yumminess of the food to the awesome drinks (I cant remember our bartenders name) everything is great! We now visit them every other week! Keep up the good work and the good drinks coming! :-)

What an amazing discovery! First, we sampled the pumpkin spice bourbon. What?! I can drink a bottle of this. I also ordered an espresso martini with the pumpkin spice. Wow! And then the food. Wow! Completely elevated foodie experience. We ordered the pastrami with dirty south tots. Fantastic. The service was top -notch. Tricia and Tina made us feel like we were regulars but it was our first time. I highly recommend this hidden gem in downtown McKinney!

In FL a favorite restaurant of ours served a dish called YaYa Grits. Since moving back to TX, my husband has been searching for a similar type dish. We found it at Lockwood Distillery in McKinney. We frequented the location previously as a different restaurant, so we were pleasantly surprised to see it open again. Truly a different vibe than the rest of the Square. Although it can be quite loud at times (which is the only drawback), the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. There is a New Orleans feel to the menu (not to be confused with Cajun) and a variety of dishes with excellent drinks to pair. Everything tastes amazing. After speaking with some of the staff and given the opportunity to sample several types of spirits, we ended up purchasing a bottle to take home! It s not a huge dining room so a reservation is probably best. Try the chocolate bourbon cream! You won t be sorry.

First of all, the location is amazing and the staff (especially Tina) is top notch! But even better than that are the cocktails and menu. I love deviled eggs more than a human should and these are some of the best around! Even their ice is amazing! Do yourself a favor and put this on your date night list!

Excellent food and excellent service! Fun decor and lively atmosphere! We tried several appetizers, including the tots and the deviled eggs Both were awesome! Wedge salad was great too. August Drink special was yummy! Definitely on my list to return!

First time at the new McKinney location. Had reservations which was good because it was packed. Greeted by Chad who was attentive and very personable. I thought he was the owner at least he acted like the owner very attentive to customers. Stopped by our table several times to ask if all was good. Find he s the GM. Love a staff that acts like an owner. Food was great! Sliders and chicken a must. Lindsey was our waitress and did a phenomenal job. Great restaurant. Great food. Great bar!!We ll be back!

Cool staff. Hijacked me and wife outside as we intended to go to other place. Art on walls shows appreciation for humor (Jim Carey, Belushi, Farley, etc). Drinks are great, distilled here. Tasty Manhattan! Food was nice. The pastrami is delicious. Smash birger also great. And price is reasonable for food. About $13-15 for main entrees.

Tricia is an awesome gal and she took care of us! Food was great but the B.T.E. s are flipping phenomenal! Top notch! And those house made pickles make life worth living! Ask Chad about that upcoming brunch menu or how to get some pickles for home! He will also take care of you! After two BTEs be prepared to walk the square! Worth it!!!! Wink wink!!

We found Lockwoods on the Collin County Foodies Facebook page and when I saw the picture of the chicken strip dinner, I knew I had to try this place! Service was great! We were greeted by two different people, both super friendly and happy to share about the place. This is their 3rd and newest location, and they have only been open for about two months here so people dont know about it yet. I can tell you, people are missing out! $10 old fashioned was HUGE compared to what you get at other places (and absolutely delicious!!). The frozen Lockwood Bramble was HEAVENLY, especially on a hot Texas summer day. So refreshing! The Espresso Yourself Martini had a great chocolate/coffee taste and the oat milk added a nice richness. As expected, the chicken strip dinner, which came with tots and mac and cheese, was so delicious. Hot, crisp chicken, not too dry or juicy. Just perfect. The sides were phenomenal and could have been a meal on their own, if Im being honest! So much food! We also tried the Tomato Basil Soup (perfection), the Truffle Shuffle Tots (excellent, the cheese on it was really good, and loved the fact that they brought mayo out as a side with it), and the Southern Bean Dip (really nice lemon garlic flavor, and the butter beans and toasted bread with it took it to another level. I honestly dont think you can go wrong here. Literally everything was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere is a fun and inviting environment! Its not everyday you see Biggie, Dolly, Post Malone, and Ace Ventura, and Kip in the same place! Check them out!

We were excited to try Lockwood. The food was very fresh and great, but the service lacked. Our drinks took awhile to come out, when ordering second drink we were charged for them but never got them. The restaurant was fairly empty and there were plenty of staff working

I recently visited this restaurant and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was inviting, and the food was delicious. What stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by Chad. He was not only very nice but also the coolest person. Chad went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the outstanding service!

The foods great. The drinks are where its at - theyve got a bourbon paloma that closely matches up to a whiskey sour, and it is my drink of the summer. I love their straight bourbon and the chocolate bourbon cream as well.

Convenient location for us, good food (the chicken tenders entree was a lot of food, great breading on the chicken... and the gouda mac and crispy tots were excellent). First time here so didnt have an opportunity to check out a lot of the drinks menu. Only complaint is that it was quite loud, even though the place was nowhere near full... some sound dampening on the walls might help. Hope they add tasting flights to the menu.
