All in all the hotel is good enough if you re going shopping at la plaza mall. The rooms are not the most luxurious but they work. I highly recommend having breakfast at the ihop that is close to it and dinner at buffalo wings and rings that is across the street. Rooms: They re clean and have WIFI, a TV, a little fridge and a microwave, among other amenities. Walkability: You can walk to the mall, it s really close.

The location is perfect, you can walk to Plaza Mall, it has ample parking, the rooms fulfill their purpose, however the facilities already seem to need a change or remodeling. I recommend it if you are going shopping, not on vacation. A great opportunity to spend the night while waiting for your flight. The room has a huge bed, shower and a real bath. Hairdryer, coffee maker with two bags of coffee and sazar, TV and air conditioning. For brushing teeth, separate disposable cups in a package. Upon request, daily change of bed linen. There are a million places nearby for quick and not so quick food.

It is definitely my favorite hotel in McAllen. Its location and, above all, its wonderful pool, make a stay at this hotel a delight. The only thing that it does need now is a remodeling of the exterior facilities of the buildings where the rooms are located, which already reflect the passing of the years, and to renew the furniture in the rooms a little, which also already look somewhat old. Either way, as it is, it continues to meet my expectations. What would be the icing on the cake is if they put a barbecue area in their garden, behind where the pool is located. It would be a plus for the guests, especially those from Monterrey, who stay at the Copa.

Hello! I am very happy to share my experience at the La Copa hotel in McAllen. Without a doubt, I can say that this place is an excellent option if you are looking for a comfortable, modern hotel with exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome and made sure all my needs were taken care of. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and modern. It was equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay, including a comfortable bed, a flat screen TV and a spotless bathroom. In addition, the hotel has a variety of facilities and services that make it even more attractive. Is there an outdoor pool The location of the hotel is another of its strong points. It is located in a very convenient area, close to numerous local attractions and the McAllen mall. In summary, my experience at Hotel La Copa in McAllen was excellent. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were exceptional. If you are looking for a quality hotel in McAllen, I definitely recommend considering Hotel La Copa.

We came with an elderly person and we asked the lady at the reception to give us a quilt for my grandmother, to which she mentioned that she only had one available and they denied it to us, so it is understood that they do not even have the material. Not to mention the terrible cleaning of the room, the old and perforated coffee maker, we did not have a telephone and the television did not work, we found hair from people other than us when we got to the bathroom, terrible service.

The stay was 4 days and a disappointment. I chose it because it said it had breakfast and that was a lie, and in the TV programming in the room the first thing it says is FREE BREAKFAST and when I asked at the reception, they told me that they dont do it. I asked that I wanted to speak with the manager and she never called me and when I left the hotel I left a message for the manager again and she didnt call. It seems that they are not prepared to solve problems, but they are ready to make excuses and avoid customer complaints.

Everything is very clean and tidy but I think there is a lack of staff at the reception. TERRIBLE!!!!! Horrible customer service!!! DO NOT STAY HERE, I booked this hotel for my mother who is attending a funeral for my father and upon leaving the hotel she was charged an ADDITIONAL $60 for towels that cannot be replaced? (Very confused at this point) . I spoke with a younger woman named Carolina who said she was the General Manager, she had absolutely no explanation for what happened, only that she had spoken with the head housekeeper about the towels. there were NO photos of said towels that they claimed were destroyed and I had to ask her 5 seperate times before sending an itemised receipt to my email. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have received in my life, Not only was Carolina extremely rude and very unsympathetic towards our situation she could not provide any explanation for how these towels were destroyed during the stay or could not provide any photo evidence or pictures of the addition $60 damage fees to the towels. All she said was If I have them, I will send them I can guarantee you I will have my husband reach out to American Express to dispute these additional charges and that we will never stay or mention this hotel to anybody! They are obviously looking for an easy unethical way to increase revenue and when I mentioned staying in a cheaper hotel to save money she got very defensive saying this is NOT a cheap motel, you could ve stayed at Motel 6. The only reason I gave this place 1 star was because I had too but from my experience here I have never felt so unsatisfied and even more unwelcome.

Horrible the room was facing macys at la plaza mall, the room smelled, was very outdated and the door was not working properly so we had bugs and mosquitoes flying in. So i go to attempt to talk to a manager and they said you cant get a refund but we can switch you rooms i said no I want a refund. She said Im sorry the manager wont be in till Monday. I wouldnt recommend this place at all theses reviews are very misleading and this hotel is like a room you would rent by the hour.

Planned an overnight shopping spree to La Plaza mall and this hotel/motel is literally next door to Macys. Quiet and old-school, I appreciated their price and the convenience of walking to the mall. Nice trees. A pool that was not filled. Check-in was fairly smooth although the clerk made us wait for a ground floor room when it was clear the motel was hardly filled.

Well located, clean, familiar and quiet hotel. The rooms are good, the mattresses are nice, the water pressure is excellent and the sheets are clean, they smell like chlorine, which is nice to know that they are washed constantly. I gave 4 stars because the room smelled very damp when we entered and in the early morning the smell was noticeable again. I would stay at the hotel again if the room they were going to give me didnt have the musty smell. Otherwise I would not hesitate to stay because of my allergies. But in general everything is good. The staff in general is very friendly.

Hotel is very old and expensive, it is an option if you are looking for lodging for just one night in a place close to the plaza mall (you can walk there in less than a minute) Basic shampoo, soap, they dont have a bathtub, the towels are clean, oh and they only have a sheet on the beds, no bedspread. Old and dirty carpet. A renewal is urgently needed. Even when you book on portals that indicate that they include breakfast, the reality is that they do not, the pool is out of use (due to covid)

The room smelled musty, the air conditioning was loud and the floor did not appear to have been cleaned recently. The bathtub was clogged, the water stagnating quickly.
