I recently ordered takeout from Roma Italian Kitchen, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The margarita pizza was packed with a rich sauce, and the freshest ingredients. My order was prepared quickly, and everything arrived hot and neatly packaged. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite place to eat Italian food in Longview. They are one of the few places that serve veal and what I usually get unless Im craving pizza. I get the Veal Parmigiana, and my wife gets the Veal Marsala. I love their bread that they bring out ahead of time, and the service had always been great.

My first experience at this restaurant was memorable. A cozy atmosphere, they thought of every detail. Clean, tidy. Pleasant music The staff is warm, attentive, fast, respectful... Delicious food, well prepared and presented dishes. I ordered Lasagna, I recommend it, it comes with a salad, I ordered Cessar salad, fresh vegetables From today one of my favorite restaurants in Longview.

Absolutely disgusting .. ordered a trio plate and I received a huge pile of greasy cheese could tell my dish apart from my other plate just Lasagna over cooked bread unable to eat at all too hard just not what I wanted for my first experience usually I give places several try s but this is a big fat no for me . Nice place. Pretty good service. But if you know good Italian food, there arent many dishes youll like. Chicken and pesto alfredo are good. The salads are ok. Get what you want, but dont expect to be impressed. At least not until you get the check.

So it may have been just the day we were there, hopeful to update if we get a chance to go back. We ordered a baked ziti with chicken, lemon garlic shrimp sampi and chicken parm. For dessert chocolate mousse. The chicken was pretty dry, and the lemon sauce was so acidic it wasnt refreshing (couldnteven taste the garlic). No one finished even half their meal, and the shrimp scampi, all that was eaten was the shrimp. The bread, pasta itself and mouse cake were fantastic and our service was wonderful which always make you want to try come back.

This is great place for lunch or dinner. The food has always been great. There are certain pizzas on the menu but not supreme, although you can order one. I highly recommend getting a supreme as they add an ingredient that elavates this to another level (eggplant). Cant wait to try more menu items.

Ive never been to a Romas before, but heard that it was good, and see plenty of 4 and 5 star reviews, but I have to say that the only thing we can give good praise on is the bread and dip. Wine was ordered, but the waitress couldnt find it, even tho it was on the menu. Mozzarella sticks, average, at best. No seasoning in the batter. Very bland. We ordered the Pasta Combo. It came out in a very small dish. Three small pieces of different pasta buried in cheese and very oily. Average, again. Service was super slow. I doubt we will ever come back. Olive Garden is better... sorry to say..

Amazing service, pasta and salad!! We loved the bread service with oil, the bread was fresh, fluffy and had great flavor. Our food tasted so fresh with quality ingredients, for such an amazing price! The $45 special they had going mid-May was a great deal. The gnocchi with salmon was SO GOOD. My partner enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs (and he is PICKY, other places havent been so good so I was ecstatic he approved). The bread is good, cheesecake was delicious, the service was AMAZING, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Our waitress was a middle-aged blonde woman and she was so sweet. 1000/10, will be back!

After a nice walk in downtown Longview my wife and I met some friends and attended a birthday dinner at this restaurant. I wish I could remember the name our waitress because she was so attentive to our group. Bubbly red head is as close as I can get to a description of her. Across the board there were several items ordered. Everything from Shrimp pasta to pizza. Several of our party had previously been to Romas, it was our first. The food was great. The establishment made sure that the atmosphere was a true Italian experience. We had a good time.

The food is overpriced and and not as good as it used to be. The portions arent dont match the price. The service was neither here nor there. Ill never tip 15% 18% or 20%. No waiter or waitress deserves a fifth of the total bill. If they cant make it then they need to be paid more by the hour. Rather than relying on guests to flip their bills. 10% is the maximum tip any waiter or waitress deserves. Unless they go extra above and beyond. But even then the maximum is still 15%. As for the atmosphere... Not bad not great.

The food is AMAZING. Every single bite from the bread at the start to the desert at the end is phenomenal. The service is friendly and quick. The price is fair, IMO. My only tiny complaint is that the beautiful romantic atmosphere they create makes it a little dark, so its hard to see the menu at times. This is not a big deal to me personally and i believe it is 1000 percent worth your time and money to support this place just letting people know, keep a cellphone light handy and youre good to go.

We went here for a romantic dinner. When we first walked in we were greeted by a really nice waiter he was graplbing menu then this bald short man (the vulture is what i call him) he tells us in a very rude manner come with me. Proceed to take us to the coldest spot in the restaurant. He sat us and then asked what we wanted to drink and if we knew what were going to order. I said we just sat down. He come over every 2 minutes or just stood next to our table until we ordered. Then it takes 15 min to get the food no one was there. Once we got the food he came over to refill my husband water and reaches across the food and pours water and proceeded to get some on my husband. He then stood 10 feet away and watched us i said i feel like my 2 year old eating with him being a vulture just watching us. I order the pasta combo and got a pile of mushy noodles and teeth hurting sweet sauce. It looked like they took a dirty diaper and put it in over cooked noodles. Gross... DONT NOT GO HERE.

My boyfriend ordered food from the online site, with the option to have curbside pick up. When ge arrived there and called, he was told we dont do that. But the option was there online. When he expressed that he had already paid for this, he was told that the person would talk to the manager to find out if it was possible, then the person hung up the phone, without asking for vehicle description or anything. We have separately been trying to call the restaurant for at least 30 minutes, only receiving no answer or busy signals. Someone finally answered my call and I explained the situation to her, and she nicely said that it would be no problem to just bring it out to him. 10 minutes later, he called again, to be spoken to rudely by a female worker, saying the website was wrong. Still no food. What takes the cake is someone we know happened to be dining in the restaurant, and THEY are who brought the food out on their way out. This was almost an hr after the food was to be ready. I liked Roma until then. Not sure Ill order again... To add to the story, we got the food home, and it was the WRONG food! I took it back up there, waited 20 minutes, then flagged down a nice young lady, and guess what she said... We do curbside service.

Dont know where to start. But I dont approve of cussing in the eating area from staff.1:30pm 12-18-23. Had to be a manager. Because I cant believe that a manager would let staff cuss and talk about other staff. Members on the floor with customers. Listening talking about how theyre pregnant and they dont show to work all the time. And they had to carry that load of the pregnant person. Cussing and carrying on made my way Waitress Forget to bring my salad till after my meal. Not the standards I would consider to be of a restaurant. Management needs do not cuss on the floor. He had a ponytail. Add to be a manager because employees shouldnt be allowed to cuss on the floor. Must be a different business model than im used to. All five of us wont be back. we Wanted a good meal, but we got more than just that. A verbal abuse and by the staff cleaning tables. Good luck in your business model of letting managers cuss on the floor. And this manager must have upset all the other staff about this pregnant waitress that was late for work. More than I needed to hear about that should have been talked about back in an officer off the dining room floor. Oh well. god bless.

I grew up in New York and they said they serve New York style pizza. The crust was so thin that it almost fell apart. The sauce was tasteless. Very disappointed. I had visited this restaurant once before and had the veal and got a veal that was mushy. Not authentic Italian. The building and atmosphere are great but the food not so much.

Ordered through DoorDash today. DoorDash was great! Ordered two Pasta Combos, one from the lunch menu, one from the dinner menu. I was hungrier than my coworker. When received, it was noted that they were the same size. I called to inquire. I was matter-of-factly told that the portion sizes were the same and that it was just a better deal to order off the lunch menu. I asked why I was charged the higher price. She said it was just because I ordered off the dinner menu. I asked to speak to a manager and she stated I am the manager. I then proceeded to edit my google review once again. Come on, Romas! Good one day and Sucks the next??? This makes me want to come sit in front of your restaurant and tell people about what just happened. Yes, I can be that kind of Karen if needed! Went here with a friend for lunch. We had excellent service and food. However, I went back with my husband at dinner time, and it was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. We walked in around 7:55 we waited around 5 min before we were acknowledged at all. Then when we were it was oh we will be with you in a moment we were told this about 3 times by different people, mind you the restaurant was only half full and there were a few employees we could literally see just standing around talking. After we stood there another 5-6 min at least, someone finally came and said they could seat us at the table in front of the door in the middle of the room. I ask if we could possibly have something a bit more private. It is my and my husbands anniversary. They said no the restaurant in completely full and thats all we have, I ask if we could be seated in the small balcony area, that was completely empty they said no, I said ok and ask if we could have a table against the wall that was empty the lady sighed loudly and said OK ILL HAVE TO GET IT CLEANED, very rudely then she proceeds to stand there fiddling with something at the host stand. Another women walks up and says I can seat you there in the exact same place, I ask again if we could be seated at the table against the wall and she also acted like it was such an inconvenience to clean it, but proceeded to do so. Then, after we were finally seated, they just walked away not even bothering to take our drink order. At that point, Id had enough and was not looking forward to the terrible and rude service I knew that would follow, so we got up and walked out. The food here is good, but I definitely DO NOT recommend going here if they are busy at all because, apparently, 5 small tables per server is swamped!!

This place is absolutely the worst service I have an ever experienced in Longview the new ownership has and will destroy this restaurant in a matter of time. 45 minutes and was not acknowledged a single time. If you are friends with them then you may get a meal, if not, You will sit and wait. I absolutely do not recommend eating at this place and absolutely will not be coming back.

My Fiancee wanted to take a somewhere different in Longview I live Shreveport and Love Italian Food at Carrabbas but was Sadly Disappointed first the Chicken on my Dish was Cold and Dry you could not cut with Fork and No Seasoning or Flavor and after taking two bites told Waitress to take it back and take off Ticket they Trying to me to Pay from something I couldnt Eat. I have Work in Restaurant Industry for over 30 years and I think it was Poor Customer service because the Manager never came to the Table just Relayed Messages

I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo with mushrooms and spinach. Shrimp was over cooked, spinach wasnt fresh, Alfredo was bland and not thick. Husband got the Lasagna which was a single layer and bland. Ordered 2 side Caesar salads and got Ranch and some kind of Italian dressing. This is definitely a no go for us!

We have been here a few times and really do like it. This was a first sitting in a booth across from the bar. While comfortable, I would not suggest it. Too close to the kitchen. A lot of foot traffic and employee noise. Takes away from the charm of the facility. All the food was good but look at descriptions. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and was quite surprised to see in a sauce almost like a soup. You can see in the picture. It was good, just not what I expected. Our server was very good and provided just the right amount of interaction. I would suggest giving Roma a try.

This was my first time at Roma s and it was a wonderful experience. We were seated right away and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the lunch meatball spaghetti and it came with a salad and bread which was amazing. I highly recommend trying this place if you love Italian food with a great atmosphere!

The food and drinks were absolutely wonderful. Was able to witness how the bartender Dawn dealt extremely professionally with a stuck up rude customer and our server Carla was wonderful, accommodating, kind, and quick. The atmosphere was nice. I ordered the Calamari, such a disappointment. It was not tasty but greasy & rubbery . I also ordered a medium Canadian, pineapple pizza. I kid you not it came to our table raw. We flagged down the hostess as our waitress wasn t seen. 20 minutes later, after my husband finished his combo dish, which was good but extremely small for the price, the pizza was delivered. The pizza crust was black but the middle was done. Such a disappointment. No offer to discount or maybe a complimentary drink or dessert as a professional operation might do. We go out to eat at least three times a week as we re retired, cost isn t a concern nor is giving an unpleasant review. But this time a review was warranted. Will not return or recommend.

I had the opportunity to eat at this incredible five star restaurant in Longview this evening. This amazing young lady named Casie in the picture next to me is the manager and was my server. The way that she described the items I was asking about on the menu was making my taste buds water just with the pictures that she was painting with her words. The food was just as delectable as she mentioned! In the first picture with her is their appetizer called mahi tuna with a side of onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and broccoli. The second picture has my main course of black ink linguine. It comes with shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, crab meat, calamari, and the black linguine. This amazing seafood dish is prepared in a white wine with virgin olive oil and garlic sauce. Casies kindness and passion for excellence was the icing on the cake however. Her personality and excellent knowledge of her menu made a great experience perfect. If you have the opportunity to stop by here for a visit, make sure that you specially request her! Ive never in all of my years of dining had such a pleasurable combination of food and conversation. Thank you, Casie, for going over and above with your customer service. Youre an absolutely incredible human being, and you are going to go far, not just in the restaurant world, but in life!
