This one was our first time ordering this pizza, and we were extremely underwhelmed. The pizza dough is thick, doughy, and a bit chewy. The stuffed crust turns out to be on the underside of the pizza, and the cheese was not even melted. The sauce on the pizza was also cold. The wings were soggy and downright unappetizing. They arent fried they seem to be oven baked. We didnt manage to get full before we decided to just throw the food away. Steer clear of this joint, I am not sure how they have 4.3 stars at the time of this review.

Im very disappointed in the staff. While waiting for my order, I overheard them say that they messed up and say, oh well, well just tell them that we had a big rush. When the food was ready, she lies to me and ttells me just that. I really need people to have more integrity. I am paying for a service, the least you can do is get the order right. To add injury to insult, they drizzled bbq sauce on the wings and some of them had no sauce.

Updated: So, there is nothing in my complaint about what toppings are on our pizza, but yet that is the topic of subject in their response. The mother is the manager, the daughter is the person that answers the phone, and the son apparently is the delivery person. The son, I have witnessed with my own two eyes and two ears tell someone on the phone that the delivery guy is out with their pizza, and as he saw me come in, tell me that there is too many orders coming in and the delivery guy they have is the only one they have so sometimes your pizza is going to be cold. Never thought it would play a role in my home situation as we are 0.3 mile away from the location, but apparently it does. So, toppings not being available (it happens), not enough delivery personnel, seeing the post requests of hiring managers well below a decent pay compared to their competitors.... Sounds like a management failure. Back to the point, the order took an hour (technically longer) for *1* pizza to be delivered 0.3 miles. While on the phone with the daughter, the delivery shows up. Ended the conversation there, and hung up. Put it on the countertop, opened it up, and the pizza has been OBVIOUSLY sitting for 30-45 minutes because it is nearly room temperature. I call back as quickly as I can to get the driver to come get it, so I can get our money back. She told me it is fine, we will refund you your money. Ended the conversation there. In the picture provided, I show the pizza in our oven to heat it back up, not because of the temperature, but after having a piece, both my wife and I, we realized after a little bit the cheese wasnt even cooked, the sauce was cool to the touch. So that is why I proceeded to put it in the oven, trying to salvage the situation. In Hein site, we should have simply thrown it away, because within an hour, BOTH of us were sick, and I mean in the grossest of terms. Having a bad day? NO, we werent. We were enjoying our time as the kids were with grandparents, and we were having a night to ourselves. We were NOT looking for anything special, other than a chill night, but nope, t-boned because of this dumb situation all around. All because the lack of management. THAT IS WHY, I am upset................ ****Original POST: So disappointing. Order online as we had in the past, took nearly an hour to show up even though we live 3 min drive away. We were trying to give the delivery guy some work, knowing times are tough. The pizza shows up not only cold, but we have to literally run it through our own oven because the cheese wasnt even melted. The lady that answered said she is the daughter of the manager and she just cut the pizza just as it came out of the oven. Blatantly lies. So pissed right now.

Update! After posting my original review I received an email from the owner of this location. They offered a coupon code and promised to talk to their staff about how to prepare the GF pizza crust. We ordered pizza tonight and the GF crust was much better! We love eating local! Thank you Mr. Jims! We have loved this Mr. Jim s location. We especially loved their gluten-free pizza crust they have had for a while. It was the best locally! The last couple of times we ve ordered GF pizza the crust has been horrible. It s so thin with no taste :-( Has there been a change to the GF pizza crust?? Dietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free pizza option, and a crustless pizza bowl.

Kris, the owner, is extremely polite and has excellent customer service skills. The pizza was delicious and you can definitely taste the quality in the ingredients that they use. The crust was cooked perfectly, and I am super picky about crust. Will definitely be returning!

I ordered pizza and a 2 liter of Diet Coke yesterday (9/22/23) I thought the Diet Coke tasted weird, but didn t think too much about it. Today, after pouring some and it tasting off again, I decided to look at the date. It states Jun1523 . I called the store to let them know and she tells me that it s the bottled dateS I know that s not true. Every consumer needs to be able to see the expiration date and or sell by date. I looked it up, I m right. This is the sell by date. She also stated that they are good for 2 years. That is also inaccurate. For regular soda, they re good for 9 months and for Diet drinks, they re good for 3 months. Which makes sense as to why this doesn t taste right. We ve been ordering Mr Jim s pizza recently, but I might be looking elsewhere now. I m bummed. Oh well.

Mr Jims is the best pizza in town. My food is always nice and hot and fresh. My favorite is the cauliflower pizza they have since it is a healthier option for me when I still want pizza. The people that work here always take care of me and have heard of many stories of them going above and beyond for customers. They are usually one of the only food vendors also when there are events at the lake.

I have been a customer of this Little Elm Mr. Jims now for several years. Honestly, I should have taken the time to post a review for this business way sooner. This place, pizza and people are the absolute the best. Its the only place I feel confident in when it comes to ordering food and having it delivered to my home. I know that when I call, the person who answers the phone is always fantastic, the delivery is on point, the pizza is hot and fresh and the best you can get. Very professional, stand-up customer service that you cant find anymore! I will NEVER order pizza from anywhere else. ALWAYS delicious and never disappoints!!! I have not had Mr Jims in years. However, the Little Elm, TX location is so close, I thought I would try. They are under new management. My pies were perfect. The thin crust was still airy and flavorful. The regular was all the way to edges and very airy. I will continue to order from here. They were quick and hot. The driver was polite and helpful. I ve been eating Mr Jims for 30+ years and can easily say it s my favorite pizza. I typically order from this store once every few weeks and have for the past couple of years. Have never had an issue with quality up until the last few months where I ve found each of my pizza in pools of grease, and relatively uncooked/doughy. I ll gladly remove or give a better review if I notice the quality improve as I ll continue to buy, knowing recent experiences isn t the usual for Mr Jim s. Edit: 3 months later and same problems. Only now with cold pizza on delivery and forgotten items from the order.

First off, this is our go to pizza place. Just didnt have a fantastic order the last few times. Last time we had someone elses order delivered (which they made right by issuing a coupon for free pizzas the next time. However, with free you still have to order over $15 to get delivery... So we had to go get it. Then, we couldnt get the same pizzas because those werent covered under the free. Even though thats what we paid for originally. And the free sizes are a size down from the pay sizes, I guess, because our large and medium pizzas were pretty tiny. Anyway.... Hope they can get it together and they were just having a few off weeks. Well give them another shot.

This was my first visit, and I shall return! Excellent service in every aspect! Young lady at counter was extremely polite, knowledgeable about the pizzas and the choice of crusts and gave me good to know info for my next visit. She suggested I try the Sticky Fingers pizza with the original crust, which I did. She gave me parmesan cheese in small containers and packets of crushed red pepper with my pizza. I just moved to the area and while moving in ordered a pizza. After an hour I called back....come to find out they delivered my pizza to the WRONG house! Not only that but they charged me for it!!!!!! when I finally got them to understand I never got my pizza they sent out my order again, an hour later my pizza showed up. Still moving in and haven t gotten to the store, really liked the pizza so I decided to try Mr Jim s again. Called, was told that I wasn t in the delivery area......I informed the woman on the phone I just got pizza this week. Ten minutes on hold only to find out they refuse to deliver to me (15 min from them) unless I order $35 worth of food. What a way to treat a new customer, and after that a customer that gives them a chance. Little Elm Mr Jim s is a nightmare, never had such a hard time ordering pizza or giving a business my money. I live in Paloma Creek with hundreds of houses, how do you not deliver here. I guess they don t like money and like being slow.

So, I have always loved Mr. Jims Pizza. Had it all the time growing up in The Colony. Sticky Fingers all the way. This location sucks, harsh I know but I can explain. Last week I waited 2 and a half hours for a pizza to be delivered, and it was cold. Wasnt charged for it and when I put in my complaint to their off e in Farmers Branch they gave me more free pizza. Tonight I place an order to pick up, it should take 15-20 min., when I show up 20 min later they havent even started making the pizza. Now I have to wait another 15-20 for them to make it. They said I could wait inside if I wanted but they have no A/C and Im sorry but at 83 degrees outside Id rather wait outside. This is ridiculous service and doubt I will order from here again, and I have enough points for a free pizza. Sad

This is now the 2nd time in one month that I have tried to order pizza 2 hours before they close and come to find out they are closed. If you are not going to open for the day or close early pls put something on your recording. Second of all the product that they sell has gone down. When you order a full size salad you get about 2 Oz of dressing even though you requested extra and offered to pay for it. So I think we will have to find another pizza place. I love supporting our local business but this one I dont think I can support any longer. So sad!!!!!!

I love Mr. Jims, but i had a not so good experience last week. In an effort to continue to support them and chalk it up to a bad day, I didnt complaine and ordered again tonight. Well it was horrible!!!! My pizza was wrong, the $6 salad I ordered was the size of their $4 salad normally and filled with brown lettuce. The salad was completely disgusting and not fit to eat. I called to complain to be told because I paid cash, they wouldnt refund, they closed in 3 min so no remake and all they offered me was 50% off my next order. So let me get this straight, my order was wrong and no able to be eaten, I still had to pay for it and then would have to pay for 1/2 of my next order????? Will not be ordering from them again!!! Wish I could add pics, so you could see what they considered an ok salad.

This location used to be great. We would drive about 30 minutes round trip to get there despite having a Pizza Hut less than a mile from us because we used to like it so much. On our last order of a small pizza and a large Jim Stix, the crust was tough and very uniform as if it was pre-made. The cheese was plastic-y and the toppings were sparse. We were given no dipping sauce for our Jim Stix despite requesting them. They also left off the flavored crust we ordered. Im hoping this location is under new management and cutting corners and these arent corporate changes. We wont be going back to this location. Well try the next closest location next time and hopefully itll be as good as this location used to be.

Wow, what a difference a new owner and management can make!! My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting the new proprietor this afternoon and he was a genuinely nice hardworking family man. Our carryout order was hot and ready at the precise time he said it would be. We ordered 1 original crust (half sticky fingers and half Meat lovers) and 1 thin crust (half pepperoni & Italian sausage and half hamburger & jalapeno). I like to think of myself as a pizza connoisseur considering I seek out and eat as many varieties of pizza as possible. I am going to judge this pizza against its immediate delivery competition that is available in most every city in the U.S. It wins. The crusts, original and thin are fantastic. The toppings are authentic and well flavored. And most importantly they do not skimp on cheeses, meats or veggies!! The sauce is great and compliments the pizza. The reviews below were for a previous owner. Give the new owner a chance and I know you will be pleased. :)

We ordered a pizza, 2x bread buds, and a JimStix. We waited 30 minutes for the delivery and when we recieved the food, it was cold and the bread buds and JimStix had zero ingredients on it (no parmeasean or garlic and no cinnamon on the JimStix). I called the store and spoke to the Assistant Manager - his name was Chris. He told me hed refire them and delivery would be about 30 minutes. We waited about an hour and 10 minutes and then I called them. I asked for the manager and he told me he was the manager. I told him my story and he said Oh, yea, I remember you.. He then told me he had to make a phone call and wanted to know if I wanted to hold or have him call me back. Obviously I told him that I would wait - I waited for 10 minutes and he returned. At this point I demanded a refund and he said that he could not and would not offer any type of refund. At that time, the door bell rang and it was the delivery guy. Again - the items were unseasoned - almost no flavoring at all - I kept the delivery guy there and told him that he needed to call the store and tell them about the issues I was having. The delivery guy refused as he stated he was just the delivery guy and then he tried to rush off and told me to keep the pizza - I handed the pizzas back to the guy and told him I didnt want a product that I didnt order and I just told him to head back to the store and that I wasnt mad at him. I then immediately called the store back and again, greeted by Chris - the Assistant Manager. He basically told me again that there would be no refund and that he made the food and he told me he seasoned it well and that he would not be making anymore or offering any type of refund. At this point, we paid $30 and had no product and no way to get my money back. I had to call the bank and get them to file a claim and thats where Im at with this - so hopefully Ill get a refund (which Im pretty sure I will). Never going back to this Mr. Jims again.

Pizza sauce tasted old and not very good. Contacted store to express my dissatisfaction. What is it you would like me to do? was the question I was asked. Are you serious? was my response. So we returned both pizza, one not eaten and the other with three slices missing. Will no longer be ordering from Mr. Jims Little Elm.
