Fantastic little whole in the wall! Their Cajun fries are perfectly seasoned (spicy but not overly so) and their burgers are delish. I really appreciate that you can ask for your burger to be made as a bowl since I m diabetic and shouldn t eat too much bread!!! Great place to grab a great meal! Will definitely be going back!

Excellent food. There are so many burgers to chose from. It was hard to pick one. We had a cowboy burger and smash burger along with the most delicious Cajun garlic fries. This is a must try. Kike waited on us. He was so nice and friendly. He continually check on us. Add this place to your list.

MEAN burger did not disappoint! The burger was seasoned well and very tasty. The bun tasted homemade and was delish. The cajun fries were hot, crispy and seasoned. Even taking the food to go, it was still hot and fresh once I got home. The customer service from the staff was great. They were friendly and helpful in discussing menu options. I absolutely love a good burger restaurant. For me, burgers are the best sort of comfort food (even if it isn t classified as comfort food). My girlfriend and I previously enjoyed the Dirty Juicy Burger establishment, but when we saw Mean Burger in its place we had to give it a try. When we came into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a gentleman who I assume was the owner and he was very polite towards us. He directed our attention to the printed menus and gave us some suggestions for a good meal. Ultimately, I went with a Bacon Cheeseburger while my girlfriend went with a classic cheeseburger. The food did not take very long to make. In addition, I would say the prices are generally comparable to other burger restaurants in the area. The bacon cheeseburger was absolutely delicious. The meat was seasoned well, it was juicy, it was a decent size, and was cooked well as expected. The bun is a sweet bun, a personal favorite of ours, and went well with the patty. I also had the chili cheese fries, because I feel like a delicious burger deserves delicious fries to go along with it. They were overall good, definitely better tasting than others I ve had. My girlfriend enjoyed her food as well. She had regular fries, which were well seasoned. She also enjoyed the Cookies and Cream Shake. Overall, this burger joint is a fantastic restaurant to enjoy a classic burger at and I recommend it to anybody in the area.

Wow! This was so far the best burger I had in the United States! Great guys doing awesome job, really great staff and also the garlic fries were amazing! You can really taste the great quality of the angus beef! We used door dash delivery. The buns are so good! They hold up to being delivered and when eating the burger. I was very impressed at how the bun assisted in giving flavor to the burger. One of the best burgers I ve had!!! The fries were lightly seasoned and had a good natural flavor as well, but the burger was so good!!! Vegetarian options: My daughter ordered a turkey burger. No it s not vegetarian, but it s a more healthy option. It was pretty good. Not nearly as good as their beef burgers. My daughter ordered it with lettuce, onions, tomato. She liked it a lot. I took a bite. For me, I require mayo, cheese and mustard on anything called a burger. It was not my favorite, but my (adult) daughter loved it. The fries were cooked perfectly and they contained lite seasoning. We really liked their fries.

My son and I just left this place. My son ordered the mean pizza burger and fell in love with the place. I ordered the Jalapeno Cream Cheese Burger switching the burger to the impossible and I was very impressed. A lot of places are scared to actually season the impossible patty, but not this place. This place is a must for me everytime I go to the airport. I d come here a LOT more if I lived closer. Absolutely one of the best burgers I ve had .and I ve had a lot!!! I also don t understand these reviews about the owner or staff being rude. Owner is one of the nicest people ever and so is the staff. My first time, we got there near closing time and yet the served us and let us dine in. And they re always making it easy to order with recommendations and being patient with you. Exceptional service, very clean bathroom. The whole place was clean. Burger was tender and juicy. Delicious! Soft sweet bun is my fav. Bacon is real bacon and cooked perfectly. Fries were just ok for me and I d pass on the cheese sauce. A sprinkle of regular shredded American or cheddar would help it a lot and I d be willing to pay another .50 cents for it. Fountain soda tasted fresh and crisp. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

Small hole in the wall place but amazing burgers and I love the buns. Not often do you see places that deserve to become big franchise chains. They normally start in California, but this deserves to be the one starting in Texas. If you are driving North to Dallas or South to Houston well worth making a little detour and picking up an order for the road, you wont regret it. Excellent customer service, burgers were omg good, I had the Mean Avocado Burger. The bun is a type of brioche bun toasted perfectly, fresh avocado, perfect grilled onions and melted pepper jack cheese My husband had the Mean Bacon and Egg Burger. Same bun, pieces of bacon and fried egg (mention how cooked if you have a preference). I do have a slight beef allergy, and love to suffer sometimes (I don t give in often) lol This meal was TOTALLY worth giving in. Oh, we also got the Garlic and Cajun Fries. I m Sicilian so naturally I love Garlic- These were made to perfection- not overkill on garlic and sprinkled on top with parmesan. They have a variety of burgers and Fry baskets to choose from and do also offer shakes and substitutions for beef- chicken and Turkey. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! This local spot has great food for lunch and dinner. I got their sweet potato fries and they are some of the most crispy sweet potato fries I have had. This burger has bacon, onion ring, jalapeños, sriracha mayo and some other things on it. It was a beast of a burger. I highly recommend coming on an empty stomach. This yea they have in a bottle is so good. Narvies sweet tea, the catch phrase is so true, one sip and you re hooked. Had to get a milkshake to top it off. I was at work so I decided to try a local burger place that caught my eye. I ordered it for pick up and was blown away by the amount of variations. I got the jalapeño cream cheeseburger and it was amazing. I ordered a double because I didn t realize how large the burger patties were, they are big. Likely the best burger Ive had in Houston so far after being here 10 years. Food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Staff was friendly. Eating area and restrooms were clean. Only gripe could be décor was a little outdated but if the food is immaculate who cares! I HIGHLY recommend this place.

I finally tried this place out, because I couldn t find another place that offered turkey burgers. I m glad I went because the burgers and fries were amazing, by far the best turkey burgers I ve ever had. The customer service was incredible and it was also very clean inside. Cashier nice owner rude..delivery driver went in there to pick up an order that says it would be ready at 1:16 got In there 1:19 guy came out rude asking me what I was doing for 2 minutes im making them look bad..first off I dont work for you 2nd you lucky I was in a good mood and it was a 17 dollar tip. Shouldve just unassigned the pick up right there and made yall wait longer.. hope yall go out of business

Saw this place had great reviews but was disappointed when I received my meal. Burger is bland all i could really taste were the pickles and tomatoes. The fries are tough to bite and as bland as the patty. Overall service was great, staff was friendly and quick to pick up anything on tables. However if you re looking for a good burger this might not be for you, but try for yourself as we all have different taste. :)

Great beefy burgers, and really made great by the sourdough bread. Fries very flavorful and onion rings were made with a very tasty batter. Its a fairly new burger restaurant. I sure hope they are successful. Our family will make it a place we return often. Only negative was the AC could have been a little cooler for Texas heat and humidity. Loved the food and kind hands-on service and attention from the owner. Very pleasant experience.

This store is now my burger spot. Told my friends, they all showed up and its now their burger spot. The food was damn good and the service was absolutely great. Its got a little of an old diner/ soda shop kind of vibe. I think itd be cooler if they kind of went more with the old vibe but the place is a really cool and the young gal and gentleman working the counter were a real joy. Highly recommend.

A few days ago in search of burger beyond the typical fast food standards, we walked into Pappas and were dumbstruck at the prices. $12.95 for a regular and $14.95 for a bacon cheese single, add $3.25 for fries and another $3.00 for a beverage. We just turned and walked out disgusted. I then mentioned to my daughter how much we missed Dirty Juicy Burger by the Walmart and wondered if it was open...... then we saw it was online but under the name Mean Burger. We immediately drove over and found it true. Upon walking in we were immediately taken back to the very first time we dined there, thinking about 1/2lb grass fed Angus beef, hand patted with the handmade buns the original owner baked in house. We noticed the huge menu that adorned the Northside wall was gone but replaced by the one overhead above the kitchen window. The prices were what caught our immediate attention: $7 for the regular Mean and for less than $2 more, I can get a Baja with bacon, cheese & jalapenos.... be still my beating heart. We ordered the Baja, Creamy & Sticky and Avocado along with some onion rings and sweet potato fries and drinks. In total, yes it was around $45 (tip included) but the burgers, The 1/2lb Angus Beef BURGERS were everything we remembered and more. It was brought to us freshly cooked and the taste of the quality ingredients paired with that fresh handmade bun took it to a whole other level. Over all Mean Burger does indeed provide you with a mean high quality product. Last but not least, the owner and his staff make the experience even better with their friendliness and patience. There is a lot to take in for the 1st time visitor but Mean Burger has a whole lot more to offer than the big name chains can provide without breaking your wallet in the process.

Loved this place! My husband, kids and I decided to try something new. The reviews were awesome and so we stopped! This place was great, affordable, friendly, and had amazing customer service. Robert, one of the owners, was amazing. He called me by my name, kept us updated on the order, suggested things and even made our milkshakes and brought them to us while we waited. Ive seen this place for a while now, matter of fact, I think mean burgers took the place of big juicy burgers, if youre familiar with the area. So, I finally had a chance to try this place out. First up, if you never been before like me, their menu is on there counter top once you get up to the register. I ordered the mean avocado burger and an order of their garlic cajun fries . Second, their cajun fries are a lot like parmesan fires. Cause there covered in parmesan. I honestly didnt taste the cajun spice. They really should just call them Parmesan Fries. But dont get me wrong, there very good. But that burger; the taste, every bite was juicy. Very Delicious. I highly recommend it. I dont know when, but I definitely plan on coming back, maybe next time. Ill bring my girl.

Every time I go into Mean Burger to pickup an order the guy comes from the back kitchen and gives me a hard time. I don t know why he is so rude to me. The cashier is friendly but that guy see me coming in and won t let me pick up my order. I wish I knew the owner. I know he doesn t allow this in his restaurant. I ate there years ago and I liked the food but with this guy giving me a hard time every time I come to pick up an order, makes me afraid to eat there, he may tamper with my food.
