I ordered the fugi apple salad and in the bottom of salad the CENTER CORE of a head of lettuce had been chopped up and it made up the entire bottom of salad to make it look full. The rest of lettuce was awful and did not look like good lettuce. I was so disappointed. I have had this salad before at other cities and it was not this bad. It was way too expensive . Prices must have had a big increase since I ate there last. I will not eat there again.

I spent three nights at a discount motel in Waco, TX for a conference. The motels Continental breakfast was a joke. I decided to explore options and the Panera Bread was just a few minutes drive away. So I tried it out and ended up having breakfast there for the rest of the trip.

I have been coming to this location to buy sourdough for some time, as they made a great sourdough bread. A couple of months ago we noticed the loaf was off. It wasnt flavorful and the texture was a bit soggy. I thought this was a one-off of a bad bake, but the next loaf was the same. It is obvious that they have moved from making fresh bread, to making frozen dough bread. We dont typically eat at Panera, as they do not make their food with fresh ingredients. Their soup is ready-made and arrives pre-packaged and has been like this for years. Their redeeming quality was their bread was always freshly baked and they had salads. They also have really awesome staff. Unfortunately, this bakery is now not even a real bakery. Not on my list anymore. Super disappointed this is the direction they decided to go.

By far the best Panera in Waco. I go here at least 2 times a week. All the employees are so friendly and work diligently to get food out fast and warm. I use mobile ordering and it s always ready to go and accurate. Sometimes they can t fulfill my order if they are out of an ingredient. They call me right away to let me know and offer me an alternative that s normally a better option. Frankly, I ve never had a truly bad experience here and I ve been there at least 200 times. They are all so kind. It speaks to the management to foster that culture. Even the workers talking amongst themselves are kind to each other even under pressure. It always brightens my day getting to interact with the Panera team in the morning before heading off to work. I would drop specific names of all the great employees there, but I know I would miss some.

This was my 1st here after Covid the pandemic and it was great everything then I come in today for lunch and it was lunch time so naturally the lines were long but they moved swiftly. My issue is my meal. I wanted it hot and it was COLD- the opposite of HOT. Then they asked if I wanted a whole or half a sandwich I wanted a WHOLE sandwich but they freaking gave me a 1/2 a sandwich. Why?? The bread wasn t toasted and it was falling apart. I don t typically leave reviews like this one but please do better Panera Bread

Never really been impressed with Panera Bread in general, but I had hopes it was just other locations, so we stopped here while traveling for supper. We walked in and one of our children was car sick and vomited profusely on the floor. No matter how many napkins might have been available this was a job that was going to need a mop and water/cleaner. I informed the guy at the front. He asked if we were ready to order so I assumed he did not hear me. So I repeated that my child threw up on the floor and he dismissed it with someone will clean it up later. It was right in the middle of the walkway in, so not only gross but a safety issue. He had us order, which between our unfamiliarity with the menu and his unfamiliarity, combined with some food not being in stock, was an interesting and lengthy struggle. At the conclusion, he told me the mess would be cleaned up. Someone else had already walked in, hopefully around it. Then began the extremely long wait. There is a busy drive-thru and this seems to contribute but this is not a place to take hungry kids for dinner if you need food at the speed of a typical restaurant. Once we got the food, it was good, better than the other locations I have experienced, and the kitchen people seemed nice. It s just not worth the stress of waiting around, and that goes for a handful of Panera Bread locations.

Ordered through drive thru this morning at 10:47am. A large half unsweet tea and lemonade. I even repeated the order for the tea. My wife ordered a caramel latte. We also ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese. At 10:55, the gave me a small sweet tea. I told them that was wrong, and they shut the window and proceeded to make me wait 7 more minutes.

Great place for a quick soup, sandwich, or salad. One thing that was frustrating was the location of the self-serve kiosk (nobody behind the counter so the only option). Kiosk was located halfway down the entrance on the left. Very awkward trying to order, not a lot of room at all. Other than that, it was good.

Finally used a kiosk to order but EVERYTHING was out of stock...all the bread baskets were empty...could not get the kind of bread I wanted for my sandwich. Settled for a grilled cheese and soup...they cave me exactly 2 croutons in a baggy for my soup...grilled cheese was barley grilled and they forgot the extra baguette I ordered for my soup. Extremely overpriced paired with getting to bus your own table completely fulfills the rip off atmosphere. They charge for even the cream cheese on your bagel. The portions are obviously small but the bread bowl in particular is a few extra cents than the regular bowl but is very well less soup than the small bowl. The fact it was recommended goes above an beyond the horrific experience given by Panera bread.

I used to love Panera. This location has changed that feeling for our house. The soups are in bags and get overheated in the thermalizer a lot, especially the baked potato. The Mac and cheese is bagged as well and they just throw it in the microwave most of the time. The taste is very nasty when overheated and turn colour.

I love Panera Bread but this location gave me some bread that was very tough to bite in. I ordered the turkey avocado blt and it was not very appetizing. This is the first time Panera bread actually served me an item and I didn t like it. Online ordering was simple and convenient.

Its awesome...how much fresher can it get...hot soup...creamy Mac & cheese... pizza on flat breads, who would have known. Chase away the college kids and get some of this great food !!!!

Disappointed that they wouldn t even let me order until I had a mask. I didn t even get greeted, just looked at like an alien because I didn t have a mask on. The state lifted the mask mandate already so there s no reason for individual restaurants to be enforcing it. I love Panera bread but they did not make me feel welcome this time.
