Food was delicious and well portioned. I had the #1 combo. The pork was beautifully seasoned and cooked. The fresh vegetables in the pancit gave an elevated crunch to the dish. Absolutely recommend!!!

Weve been here many times but from our previous experiences, someone always come to our table to get our order. It is different now. You need to come in front to place your order. There is no ORDER HERE signage in the counter so we just ended up waiting in our table for nothing. There are so many flies inside the restaurant and they dont do anything about it. Our food also has strand of hair. Its disgusting. The food servers feel like they are just forced to work there. No sense of hospitality at all. We will never come back. #flies #hair #nofreewater #poorcustomerservice

We have eaten here from Sarahs kitchen food truck years ago to Sarah s Kitchen restaurant in Avenue D in downtown killeen and to their now new location along Rancier by the Fort Cavazos Gate. We come back here and order the Pork BBQ filipino style because it s really tasty. That, I would recommend 100% It s comparable to Fil-Am BBQ in California. Customer service is lacking a bit. Was way more lively and welcoming when they were in their previous location. This new location is gloomy and ceiling is falling apart. I hope they fix it soon and come back from this.

Took my parents to try out the food we went in didn t even get knowledge but bigger party that came in after us did, lady even looked straight at us And nothing. We sat there for 30 minutes and nothing. Decided to leave.

Sarahs kitchen is a hidden gem that the people of Killeen need to come out and support. Everything we ate was amazing! I knew the food was going to be good from the moment we walked in and saw smiling faces sitting at tables and all the great looking dishes they were dining on. Conversations were happening, but they were minimal due to everyone eating. We ordered and waited patiently. The lumpia came out first, and they were perfect. If youre looking for good lumpia, this is the spot! Our entrees came out next, and the portions definitely matched with the pricing. You will be full, so come ready to eat. The pancit bihon was next level. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The pork adobo was also top tier and highly recommended. Last but not least, the Halo Halo! This is one of the best desserts Ive had. The different flavors and textures are unbelievable and paired like no other. Please give Sarahs Kitchen a try. My only complaint is we didnt get all sixteen of our lumpia. Only ten were brought out initially, and we were so full and satisfied that we forgot to ask about the rest of them.

Poor Customer Services!!! No customer appreciation. ! Rude, impolite services, misleading advertisement. Remember if theres no customer, theres no business. Ive been going to this restaurant since 2021. From their recent place to their current place. Hear me. A couple of days, we moved back to TX, and this is back 2021. The first time I went here, my bills were $100+ plus tax already.. I ordered a lot from the menu since I miss filipino foods, and then not even a week after my family 1st visits we came back again and had a dine in and take out some more filipino dish. I ordered almost everything in their menu. Every visits we will purchased more than 3 orders or more plus desserts. Their food prices are not cheap. They introduce the card that when you order and buy, youll get a stamp, and when you reach 6 or 8 stamps, then youll get a free 1 dish on their combo. I started to patronize this Restaurant as I support small businesses and countrymen abroad. Despite that there are several fil. Restaurants in the area that I support as well. I PATRONIZE them too and they served you with smile and are always nice and kind unlike in Sarah Restaurants, just too bad that Ser Caloys have to move different states their sisig and pork sinigang was so darn good. Anyhow, I breastfeed my kid and I always feel thirsty and hungry hard to lose weight right away. I think its rude when Sarah asked me if I am pregnant but I choose to ignored the rude statements and personal question and seize the day instead. My friends from other States visits us to TX last year, and I brought them to Sarah Restaurants. Not only that our Family is a regular paying customer, but I brought them more business. My husband brought me Filipino foods from Austin. Like I said I like to support my countrymen business here in abroad. The foods he bought has a handwritten of fil. Dish he ordered for to go on top of the Styrofoam. He thought it was neat. One day I craved for filipino foods and decided to get some at Sarah for foods to go and since I got a couple stamps to claim for the said free dish. My husband pick me up fil. Foods and told me that the owners are purely rude to him. When he just only asked and request if they can write down what dish on a foods he ordered and they told him that customer dont request that and that Sarah husband asked my husband if he is looking for some trouble. Also they told him that to get the free dish he needs 10 stamps now and give him an attitude and put him to a awkward uneasy situations. I was at the car with my newborns and toddler so I didnt knew he have to go through and deal with that. This is actually not the 1st time they been rude to him. Last time he went to pick up some foods to go he was in his apfu uniform and asked for the disc. They got this advertisement in their front desk table but told him that they only give discounts to the one that has asu. Kinda misleading advertisement but my husband thought worth to try to asked and did not insist no more. They act weird towards certain customer., I guess. The waiting is like road to forever when we went there its empty and no customer but we wait for almost an hour. If you got a good paying customer that patronize your business for years you shouldnt treat them rude and bad. We drove half an hour to visit and buy and got nothing but rude services. That s very bad business and very inconsiderate to not only your customers but to your fellow countrymen. Hope if we come back we will get a accommodating and a good pleasant smile and kind, fast services, if theres still a next time. Hindi Yung nakakunot ang noo na galit. Why getting into a hospitality carrer industry if you werent not in the mood to serve 1 customer. Gesh! Pictures attached 1st pic is their recent place. The 2nd pics are filipino foods to go from Filipino Restaurants from Austin, and 3rd pics are taken inside their current place, empty and no customer.

Had lunch here today its usually good but today was kind of off and slow, inside the building was colder than outside. Took about 8 minutes to finally order and the food was partially cooked? We said not to worry about it but in the end they complained about us as if we messed up the food lol, even though we didnt care. I understand what was said in Filipino in the back when we paid, not professional and last time we eat there.

You would think my serving would be more due to less cliental on a weekday but the portions were smaller. Soooo disappointed bc I enjoy the chicken adobo and I was craving it.The chicken adobo is so good to me btw I m half Korean but my friend being half Filipino said its, ok but I haven t had as much adobo as him. Horrible service unless you re Filipino. I was there to pick up food that I had ordered and paid for online. I was completely ignored for over 20 minutes while they waited on others. At one point, the lady went to the back room and stayed back there laughing and talking for about 10 minutes. She didn t even acknowledge that I was patiently standing there or anything. I felt like I was invisible. It wasn t until other customers came in and the bell on the door rang that she came back up front. Even then she completely ignored me and started attending to them. That s when I finally said something and was handed off to a different lady that didn t really seem to know what she was doing. She had to go check with someone else then check and see where my order was. By the time I finally got my food it had been sitting there for so long that it was cold and unsatisfactory. What should have been a quick pickup, ended up being an almost 30 minute disaster.

I placed an order for combo # 12 (pancit, rice, chicken afritada). When the food was delivered, the afritada only had 3 pieces of chicken and they were bony too as it was almost the tip of the wings. Of course I was upset. It cost me $13 for something that was basically just bones. I called the restaurant and talked to Jenni. She was very apologetic. She informed me that next time I order she will add more. The first order of course was not enough so I placed another order right after I talked to her. When my order was delivered, the afritada came with additional quantity. I want to thank Jenni for being considerate, calm, and respectful in spite that I was upset. Best of all she was very apologetic and resolved the issue. This wasnt the first time I ordered from them but it was the first time I had an issue and it was handled well. Thank you Jenni!

This restaurant serves authentic Filipino food. Sarah and her staff deliver the best customer service. The food is superb! Even my picky daughter loves her food. Others may disagree with me about the price. The price is fair enough because the food is delicious and theres a lot sufficient for two meals in one order. My favorites include the pork BBQ in a stick, the veggies called Pinakbet, the slow-cooked pork belly in soy sauce called Humba, and the Filipino Spaghetti, which is peculiar to me since it has Filipino hotdogs, and the chocolate pudding known as Dinuguan. This dish does not look appetizing, but boy, it is delicious!! I mean, WOW!! So far, all the food Ive tried is delicious and perfectly seasoned!! The Baozi called Siopao is also delicious! I love it!! Give it a try! It is open for dine-in and to-go orders. I will visit again and try other food on the menu, including desserts! Update: They now offer a grab-and-go dish. And I was told that they have a karaoke night, too! That is worth checking out next time when Im in-town.

Always great food specially the BBQ but the vegetables are a bit over cooked and the place needs a better exhaust system so you dont have to take another shower after you spend time inside the restaurant, unless you want to smell like smoked all day! Good people too!

Getting straight to the point. I had a combo plate and also the chicharron plate and the lumpia. I really enjoyed that lumpia because it reminded me of home. I was very surprised that it tasted like something Ive had when I was younger. Everything was good, but that was better.

This eating place is hidden gem. Past by this restaurant multiple times and decided to try them out. If you are interested in authentic Filipino cuisine without it breaking your pockets this is the place to go. I tried the chicken Adobe, pork BBQ, pancit bihon with a side order of pork lumpia and a piece of cassava cake for dessert. Bottom line everything was delicious. If you are downtown and looking for a place to stop for lunch or dinner check them out. Highly recommended

Better then any Asian food you can get in Killeen Texas hands down. Recommend everyone come try the food and enjoy the experience.

I discovered this place incidentally when I went to buy Filipino snacks at the Philippine Store next door. They had various menu options to choose from. I definitely struck gold when I learned their special of the day was my favorite Kare Kare!! Their prices were reasonable considering the serving sizes seemed large enough for two people. I hope this local business sticks around. The community could use some Filipino cuisine and its delicious! Highly recommend!

I had a lumpia combo plate which gets you 6 crispy lumpia w/sauce, sticky rice, and pancita bihon. The lumpia were freshly made with good seasoning and a nice, crispy wrapping. The pancit bihon is rice noodles with peas, carrots, bell peppers, and succulently seasoned and cooked pork. The sticky rice had a perfect texture, but, seemed a touch short on salt in the water. I could certainly tell that the maker of this food did so with a lot of pride and love for good food. She does Filipino cuisine a great compliment from her truck. KEEP UP THE GOOD COOKING.
