If you come to a place called Los Molcajetes WITH NO DAMN MOLCAJETE ON THE MENU. No sirrrr. Los molcajetes special on a skillet. No thank you it s chill, the salsa probably gots Red40 super red, not sure if other locations have a molcajete but this one does not. Cosmo Martini was juice.

The food was not very good. We eat authentic Mexican food weekly. I love chile reino. I got one that was bad/rotten/sour. Something was WRONG with it. So I had to eat seperately from my husband. We were NOT offered any discount for there mistake and my stomach ache. Also the hot sauce with chips tasted like only tomatoe sauce. Not good. We will not be going back...

Great place for authentic Mexican food. This is my go to for lunch and or dinner. I love the dark hot sauce. Not sure the name but its mostly the one thats warm. Went to La Margherita in roundrock TX. The are close in the quality of food. I always like you try different places. But this is my favorite!!! A+

There were a total of five tables with people seated, when my family of six arrived. We asked for the 1/2booth1/2chair table, which seated eight, as someone in our party was pregnant and another was recovering from knee surgery. We were told by the hostesses that those tables were reserved for larger parties (mind you, one of those larger tables was already occupied, also with six people;4 of those being children). In the 1.5 hours that we were there, the large booths remained open. You should start taking care of your actual customers and not the fictitious ones who might arrive at some point. Our server Angel, was the only positive thing about your restaurant.

Came here because we were hungry and needed a place to eat after a failed attempt at another place nearby. Service is ok, atmosphere not so good, the place is dirty so make sure to have some paper towel to clean your chair before setting down. The food was the WORST, everything tasted sour and old, we just left and I am starting to feel sick to my stomach as I am writing this, even I didnt eat much. Also, its expensive!

We checked this place out on the weekend as we drive by it a lot. It is usually busy which I can see why after eating there. We sat down and got our drinks and ordered within a couple of minutes. The chips and salsa were good, not the best but still good. They had a smaller bowl with a little hotter salsa which was really good. The Queso was absolutely amazing. Our food came out super quick which I was impressed given they were busy! The food was awesome. I had a cheese enchilada with a taco. Fresh ingredients, great cheese, and sauces made this superb. The rice and beans were excellent too. The service was excellent, and the place doesnt feel crowded even when busy. We liked the atmosphere.

Plenty of well lighted well maintained parking. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Plenty of seating. Restrooms well maintained. Food was ok. I got the chicken mole enchiladas. Price was accordingly. Our server Alondra was attentive. However, the female manager onsite was not. This manager asked the table next to us that sat down about 10min after us how they were doing twice throughout our visit. Manager looked at us but yet never checked in nor removed dirty dishes from our table. I noticed this manager checked on other tables around us but never my table. Beerarita was good. Dos X beer that my partner got couldve been colder.

We had the chicken fajitas, single order split between the two of us. With chips and salsa (hot and mild) and a couple of large house margaritas (very good), we had plenty. My only suggestion would be a thicker salsa, a little more on the spicy side. The service was very good; although the atmosphere was too loud for any kind of favorable conversation, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Parking: No problems. We were there with friends about 4:30 on a Friday evening; parking was plentiful. The location allows for additional parking within the adjacent shopping center, if needed.

I took my wife here for her birthday lunch, we wanted to try a new place a little further away. First off, the atmosphere was very busy. It was a Saturday around 1300 so it was very bustling inside. Typical good restaurant atmosphere. The waitress we had (I wish I could remember her name) was fantastic, always spot on with drink refills like she was just watching from afar and as soon as I took the last drink she was right there, can i get you more tea sir?. She was as sweet as can be. The time between ordering and getting our food was very short and let me tell you, I judge mexocan food restaurants based on their sour cream chicken enchiladas and they were phenomenal! My wife got the brisket tacos, Ill be honest, I was expecting 3 little street tacos like every other place Ive been to but I was very much mistaken. The plate arrived with 4 huge brisket tacos w/rice and charro beans, these things were loaded with brisket, she could only finish one and a half, so much food (they looked delicious). The price for 4 of us to eat (myself, wife, son, and a friend) was very reasonable, especially since I had a margaritas (house on the rocks, also delicious and huge) and my wife had 2 other drinks also. I personally highly recommend this place if you want some good Mexican food, in my opinion its fantastic! We will absolutely be going back. The only gripe is the location, as its right off the highway on the opposite side and the nearest crossover is a slight pain to maneuver through but definitely worth it I think.

I regularly visit Molcajetes and find their food and margaritas to be consistently good. They let you order off of the Ala carte menu and 1 chicken fajita taco and an enchilada is the perfect amount for me. Highly recommend the blueberry margarita - its fresh and made in house with real blueberries. They seem to be turning over wait staff lately so the service can be a bit slow at times. I knocked a star off of atmosphere because it can be super loud in the restaurant but its always clean and the decor is cute.

We ate at around 3:30, Now they serve plenty of food. One of our orders was the chicken/fajita parrillada for 2 $39.00 it could be for 3, lots of food. We also had the Carne Asada which my husband said was delicious. I had the Pollo a la Parrilla I think it was called , well it was a lot and so soft and delicious. Definitely will return. Lots of chips & Salsa. I wished it wasnt so boring, like a little music would be great, but not loud because then its annoying.

The restaurant was not very busy and the service was very slow. Our waitress had to be flagged down on multiple occasions to refill drinks and get other stuff. The food is totally the highlight here. Everything we ordered was on point and the service was quick. Fajitas were smoking hot on the cast iron plate and the tacos were crispy and delicious. I m afraid if I could leave negative stars I would. I m one that never finds the time to write a bad review, but I had to make an exception. The service was terrible. So very rude. I made a pick up order, and when I came to pick it up, they said I don t think so. I said I hope so, I paid for it. They checked reluctantly, and sure enough. They threw the meals in the bag (I watched) and it was a tip off when my husbands sauce was all over the bag. The food..I paid $16 for a fajita salad..and I couldn t even eat half of it. The fajita meat was cold, so chewy/stringy it made me gag, on top of a bag of cheap garden lettuce. It was so awful, and I was so sad. My husband bought beef fajita chile relleno meal that was equally as gross. (Mainly the meat) My husband and have lived here for 4 years and have wanted to eat here but for some reason never have. We were excited to finally try and I m afraid disappointed just doesn t cover it. I hate to say we won t be back. :( $35 dollars washed down the drain.

So I regret to inform you of a misfire here. I have eaten here twice as a dine in customer and it was amazing. I ordered the sour cream enchiladas. The charro beans are amazing. My most recent visit was for takeout. I ordered the same entree and it fell way short. There was water in the bottom of the container and the enchiladas were not the same consistency. I also ordered an adult beverage to go and surprise they did not add the cucumber vodka! Very disappointing! Prior to my last visit I would have given this place five stars. I suggest you dine in and never order take out. Also I historically visited on a Friday or Saturday but my last visit was on a Monday. As always the charro beans were still good!

My husband and I love this place because the chicken fajitas and the frozen margaritas are ALWAYS excellent, and we have been patrons for well over five years now. Their homemade tortillas are always excellent, and the chips are light and crispy. In the winter, I love to sit in front of the electric fireplace, and I love to sit on the outside patio when the weather is cool. The staff is always excellent, and the food is delivered quickly. I came by this place because my daughter has been here before and she said that the food was really good. So we stopped by because we were in Mansfield and let me tell you lol. We found it strange that when we inquired about the stuffed jalepenos the server said they usualy come out burnt and they dont sell that many. Whatever. It is worth going for the food for sure.

Have been coming here for the last 2 years. Never disappoints. Food, service is always top notch. Beef fajitas for 2 will feed about 4 people. They use quality beef. The pic is after we already finished eating and have that much left over.

1st time trying this place. The service was awesome! My waitress was amazing! The food presentation was awesome!! The quality of taste was not better than other restaurants I have been. Such as Cha-Cha s has no comparison! In my opinion it s a knock off of ON THE BORDER. I have no complaints but it s definitely not 1st or 2nd choice. I ll eat here if other places are closed and last resort for Mexican style food.

Waited at the table for 15-20 minutes. The only thing they ever brought out or the only reason they ever came to our table was to drop off the chips and salsa. Wait staff passed our table so many times and not once did they stop to take our order or bring out drinks. My wife and I were looking forward to trying the food as we always see it when we go to Texas Roadhouse next door, but thats not happening tonight or ever. Im not sure where the disconnect was but management shouldnt be happy with (would be) paying customers walking out dissatisfied. 0/10

A lil too pricy for fajitas cause I got fajitas for 2 and it came out to 50 total. But the taste was great. The service was excellent. And the ppl were awesome.
