This was our first time here. When walking in, you are greeted with a hello welcome in... which I do like. When you walk in, find a table, and the server will come to you. We were there for breakfast. Large variety of options to choose from. We both had build your own omelet, many veggies, and meat options you can pick from. Also comes with a side like toast biscuit or english muffin. Pricing for an omelet is by how many toppings you add. It was TASTY!! Our server was kind with a warm smile she answered all our questions. We went about 9 Sunday morning, and by the time we were finishing up our breakfast, it started to get busier. Its a small hole in the wall type of place, so seats are limited. We will definitely be back to try for lunch.

Outstanding value and quality! I especially love their build your own breakfast menu that is served throughout the day. My personal favorite is their white gravy & biscuit, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and hash browns. Cooked perfectly every time regardless of dine-in or carry-out. May be a good place to get your day started! Had a weekend breakfast here. Solid menu choices - nothing fancy. Not a brunch location, but great comfort food. Almost all menu items under $10. Extremely casual. Menu has breakfast items, sandwiches and salads. My friend got the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and really liked it. Points deducted for very slow service. Points deducted for atmosphere as it doesn t really have any. You may also need to share a table depending on how busy it is. We shared a table with one other person - no big deal. They don t serve sweet tea :(. Lots of parking immediately outside the door. Will be back!

I came today after church and arrived about 2 pm excited for breakfast food. Unfortunately, this was a horrible choice and I will not be back. Our two meals - both breakfast dishes that shouldn t take more than 5 minutes to prepare were delivered more than 45 minutes after ordering it. I have no idea how they manage to stay in business with poor service and mediocre food. I didn t receive what I ordered, the waitress tried to over charge me, and my food wasn t cooked the way it was ordered. Go anywhere else and spare yourself.

We went because my husband wanted catfish and grits for his birthday breakfast. Our breakfast was total garbage. Wasted $40 oh well. Lesson learned. People didnt get food next to us. They waited an hour. Server didnt care. Grits were lumpy and watery fish had no flavor. His eggs were full of shells. I got chicken fried steak and eggs. The chicken fried steak was old and burnt covered in gravy so you couldnt see. The cappuccino taste like the instant coffee you get from a can. If you cant make it dont offer it. Atmosphere was awful and on top of that there was no air circulation. Yes I understand it was 100 today but yall need to do better. Im very upset about this. We will never be back.

We had breakfast here and we told her the potatoes were just too salty. That was the only thing wrong with our meal. The woman working there then proceeded to argue with us that if we didnt want salt we should have said so. I get the difficulties of working in the kitchen. I used to work in a kitchen too. Mistakes happen and we were really going to brush it off. Her sour attitude rubbed me the wrong way and she kept arguing with us about how we were being difficult. She never offered to replace the item or even comp us. I used to love this place but I am never coming back.

This location is bad I rather recomend u go to centerville loc. Its better in every way I tried to give this locación a chance one more time and it just keeps Disappointing me we got here at 10:37 and at 11:40 we got the food we ordered they served a table that got there after us ...I asked lady where is our food and she said 6 more min. How is that possible if we ordered before the table next to us and it was the same amount of people ...I definitely dont like this location and my total was 82 dollars and asked are we getting discount for the 1 hour wait just for food ....No our policy is 1 hour wait time so get ready for the wait time eat before u get there

The employees are amazing. Had our food out in less than 10 minutes of ordering even though they had a full house. The food was delicious so much so that I forgot to take a picture after tasting it. The only thing that I was able to capture before it was devoured was the waffle with strawberries and it doesnt just look delicious it was delicious. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 2 years ago the food wasn t bad and the service wasn t bad, today, the food is horrible and the service is just as bad. It s sad really because this used to be my go-to breakfast place. You need more coffee? Get up and get it yourself if you can find someone at the counter. Quality food? Not anymore, maybe they changed cooks or suppliers, no idea. You want to wait 25 minutes to pay your check ? No one is ever at the counter anymore.

The service was great. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. So much in fact you get to literally rub elbows with your neighbor, because there are no assigned seats. Its as if I was transported back to my high school cafeteria. The food however left something to be desired. My wife ordered the cream cheese stuffed strawberry french toast and she did not like it because it is regular cream cheese. As for me the country gravy had a weird taste to it. Other than that everything else was great. So in conclusion if you want a cozy experience with some decent food and great service this place should be on your list in Garland.

Great service and the portions were generous. Edit: I had to change my rating based on my third visit. They were busy. They eventually brought me my food. My wife sat there for fifteen minutes watching me eat while I grew more and more frustrated with the fact that she had not received her food yet. After maybe twenty minutes after my order had arrived, I decided to just pay and leave. The lady at the register then informed me that they had messed up my wifes order and would have it right out. No thanks. Not sure if Ill try again, but for now, Im pretty bummed out with them.

This place used to be so much better. When we walked in, half the tables were dirty and there was water/food all over the floor. No air conditioning so it feels very stuffy. Waited 5 minutes to get our menus and 20-30 minutes to get our food. When we got our food, half of the food on my plate was way over cooked. We were the only people in the cafe that received plastic ware instead of silverware. My husband didn t get his tarter sauce (that s supposed to come out with the meal) until he was more than halfway done with his meal. This was only because we asked 3 times and he went up to the counter. Waited until we were done with our meal to ask if we wanted drink refills. Staff look miserable and like they don t want to work there. I hate to leave bad reviews for establishments, but it has to be said.

Very relaxed atmosphere, went on a Monday morning with family member and get the mega breakfast plates and pancakes. Its nice really nice that they offer so many options for sides. Not the place to go for an authentic country style Chicken Fried Steak, The Chicken Fried Steak was the pre-frozen kind that you used to get in school, Instant Mashed Potatoes, and the green beans were from a can. been here many many times. always loved it. i never remember to take a picture of the food before i eat it because it just is so delicious i can t stop to take a pic. only criticism i have is there aren t many options for vegetarians or vegans. other than that, the food is delicious, the workers are kind and respectful, the art and decorating is fun to look at, and it s all in all a great place for a local breakfast/brunch/lunch stop!

This place I love it has 2 locations one one e. Centerville marketplace dr and of course on Buckingham but I loveeee the one on centerville because of the staff the treat u right and fast they come by and ask if u want more coffee and the one on Buckingham the kids that are there they just don t care The good is great and price better love it

We treat ourselves every so often by eating here and it never disappoints. The amount and quality of food and that you get for the price is amazing! It s a small place and you might be seated at a table with people you don t know, but it s worth it. Don t hesitate and give this place a try!
