Veronica really made it special. She explained all the fish and their habits and made lunch with our grandchildren such a joy. All our food was a 10! Cajun pasta, gumbo. paella, grilled shrimp all amazing. The food there has stepped up so it is a star like the fish. Parking: We went on a Friday Kid-friendliness: Fun time

Great location with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, this place screams Landrys ignorance and arrogance. The service despite being fast and pretty attentive, the order for one of us (party of five) was delivered wrong. Simple honest mistake corrected when the check came. The food has a mediocre presentation, looks like the chefs simply dont care about that aspect.....but at least was good and delicious with large considerable portions. The atmosphere though......the biggest letdown. Dirty tables all around the restaurant, dirty carpets and a general gloomy feeling of total ignorance. I always said it, Tilman Fertitta in his insatiable greed and probably horrible pay of the staff will bury these once phenomenal attractive places. Such a pity.

We dined last night for my sister s birthday, and the food was one of the best I have had at the aquarium. The service was EXCEPTIONAL, shout out to Teejah for being a great server! We felt well taken care of throughout our dining experience. Kid-friendliness: The aquarium is great for kids to stay distracted while the rest of the party finishes eating. They offer kids menu with crayons to also keep them entertained.

Advertised online they closed at 9. We got there at 8 to find the doors locked. The excuse The social media team is slacking. I would give negative stars but not possible. I was really looking forward to dining in an aquarium. Blaming your social team for your lack of customer service and uwillingness earn business is piss poor at best. Paid 15 for parking as well but thats ok. We found a better place. As yearly visitors to Kema and Galveston this is a place we will not come back to. Management DO BETTER and communicate with slacking social media team.

brandon, our server, made our night so special along with our amazing bartender, Jennifer. restaurant alone was PERFECT. we were unaware that the gift shop was closed on a Wednesday at 8, being that we are out of town, and instead of telling us that they closed in 15 minutes, they let us pay $36 to stare at us petting the sting rays. once lady even yelled saying DiD yAlL pAy To GeT iN hErE!? when we responded yes ma am we did she continued to watch us along with her other coworkers staring at us the entire time, making us very uncomfortable. it very much ruined the experience. i was going to have my after party this weekend to bring my party, but now we will not be attending. thank you to the restaurant. but gift shop was very unprofessional.

Started off a little rough as we were seated about 30 minutes past our reservation time. After being seated, we noticed it was because of limited waiters/waitresses. That did not limit the phenomenal service that we received from the great teamwork of Veronica and Tonya!!! They made up for the initial issues we had. They both took time to explain menu options and made sure that we had what we needed for a great experience! On top of that, the food was great also! We had an appetizer of Alligator and I had the gator and shrimp tacos for my entree that came with red beans. Definitely recommend visiting! Great experience eating seafood being surrounded by an aquarium!

Decided to go eat here as wait for other places were a long time. As soon as we get to the hostess, they tell us an hour wait when it s not that busy. We were a big table, so we asked if we could do 2 tables. Told us no, we all had to be together. We went to tell them that the service was bad and they weren t doing their job. As someone who knows how workers should act at their jobs, this behavior was unacceptable. After while we left and whenever we were leaving the hostess (3 of them) were laughing. By the way, they were teenagers. The fish were cool to see, everyone liked that but the service was horrible. This shouldn t be happening ANYWHERE. And workers really need to be chosen more carefully.

My boyfriend and I had to rework our plan due to Hurricane Beryl and a back injury. We came down to the boardwalk and it was a ghost town. We decided to stop here and get lunch because many of the other restaurants were closed. We were one of three families in the restaurant and received prompt, fast courteous service. The food came out hot and probably some of the best fries I have ever had! It was our first time there and didnt realize we ordered the drink that came in a souvenir glass which had an up charge. When we noticed it on the bill, and didnt expect it, she removed it promptly even though it was our error. Great customer service, good food and drinks. Vegetarian options: Good options. Dietary restrictions: I am a vegetarian. Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

This place is EPIC! Parking was a little difficult for us so I ll give a suggestion if you re like me and struggle finding it. When you get to the boardwalk in a vehicle you turn left before the parking garage entrance and go between the parking garage and the boats, parking garage on the right, boats on the left. Follow that little road around and you ll see it after you go around the bend. The only parking near the aquarium is about 6 spaces plus 3 handicap spots. The sting ray exhibit is incredible and staff are kind and respectful! The food was amazing!!! We were shocked by the prices a little bit until the food came out and the plates were massive! So much food!!! Cannot recommend enough!!

I made a reservation for July the 4th. The only time available was 5;30 pm, OK. The 4th was our 3 year wedding anniversary. May I add that we had our reception here, and have been coming here every anniversary . To park was $25.00, then to find out there was NO record of my reservation, under my name or the confirmation number I was given. So all of the anniversary plans I made with the special order of the custom desert with the candles and the wording on the plate was ruined. I understood the traffic and the crowds due to it being the 4th of July, I get it, but to be told about the reservation not being found, even after having a confirmation number was extremely upsetting. Not to mention it ruined our anniversary plans and tradition.

Food was delicious and flavorful. Server was great. 4 out of 5 on the food only because my husbands lobster and steak were slightly overcooked. My steak was also over, but the flavors were on point. Loved the atmosphere with all the fish tanks. Restaurant is on the second floor they have an elevator if you cant take stairs. Definitely a place worth checking out. Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. Very spacious dining area,as well as outside seating options. All the fish tanks area great to keep even the smallest kid entertained while waiting for food. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator right by the entrance. Dining area is big enough to accommodate wheelchairs.

Found this place in Kemah. We were on Vacation and needed somewhere to go. The kids enjoyed the aquarium theme. The food was great. Lots of positive things from the family. What really moves the food and makes you enjoy the place is the service. Our server was super attentive, friendly and personable. I never had to ask for a refill. Thats usually my go to sign for service. She was so nice to the kids and really shined when it came to events. It was our birthday and brought us cake and ice cream. My 12 year old daughter was so impressed she tripped the server herself from her own birthday money. Food is food. Atmosphere is atmosphere. Where everything can go right or wrong is service. Only think I will nitpick on is your hostess should be saying thank you and bye to your guests constantly. Wasnt that busy and she was on the phone on the way out. Did not get a look as I will usually say thank you. Overall bring the family. Have a good time.

Food was great. My waiter was excellent. I brought a friend for his bday with my family to celebrate. The only thing that was disappointing and surprised me was there is not a baby changing station in the restrooms at the restaurant. I didn t want to change a poopy diaper in the middle of the dining room but really was left no other choice. Other than that everything was great.

Probably one of the worst experiences Ive had in my entire Life. Took the Family here yesterday, and will never go back. Waited over hour and half, and still no food. Then people that sat down after us, got theirs before us. Waitress named Samantha had evey excuse on why we havent gotten food, Manager I think her name was Amanda was very unprofessional. Thank God my kids was there so I had to keep my cool, otherwise I wouldve went off. I wont be coming back, and will be writing to the corporate office. Being a Loyalty Member means nothing at this establishment.

Neat restaurant with an aquarium inside a round inner column tank. Although large, the fish are too, so you only see 15 or so: Fish, eel, spotted tiger shark. I think in a way a table outdoors may have been more interesting with a view of the water and live music outside at the boardwalk. The food was better than I expected since I went in with a lower bar due to previous reviews. Gluten free: salmon Caesar salad (no croutons), side of gf fries. They don t have a gluten free menu but a server was pretty knowledgeable on the subject and helped me decide. This was the best meal I had while in Houston. The staff was friendly and they weren t busy. You can reserve a table in the Open Table app but don t bother with notes or celebrations as they were ignored. Food took longer than expected but was very good (except the calamari).

Very fun place to take the kids after a day on the boardwalk. Food is just ok, nothing spectacular but the menu had a lot of options and everything at our table as at least decent. We visited on Sunday , the staff was horrible as there was not one table occupied with patrons when we arrived they didn t allow us to sit next to the tank. They told us if they had a party for that table they wouldn t be able to sit them because we would be taking it up ! Needless to say, the bartender had no idea how to make a skinny margarita. It tasted like a spritzer With no alcohol. I sent it back ordered to Bailey s and he mixed it with Hennessey and it was horrible. Sent that back as well. Took my daughter to the women s restroom, and we seen a roach in the restroom notified the general manager of the facility And all she had to say was that Ecolab comes and sprays two times a month and that couldn t be possible that we seen a roach. She didn t discount our food for the poor service, nor the roach that we saw after we told her, it completely ruined our appetite, and if they had roaches in the restroom, I m sure there s roaches in the kitchen. Everything was horrible and I ll never return. I advise others to follow. I will never recommend this aquarium!

9pm - 2 people - Dine In and Take Out - $330 Manager was present once we needed to find our server to order and stayed on top of our dine-in experience. Dine-In food was cooked fresh (Ribeye, Greek Salad, Shrimp Platter) To-Go food was for an elderly couple who don t get out much. Food was FAR LESS than what you would expect from Landrys (Pictures are worth a thousand words). Quality control should be observed even in to-go orders. Disappointing and Unacceptable for the price.

I chose to have a momentous occasion with family and friends for the first time at one of my favorite restaurants in Kemah. The aquarium. I was completely disappointed and frustrated from the time I arrived until I left. Some of my guests even expressed that they would not return if I ever have another celebration here. Our RSVP was at 2 and of course we couldn t be seated until at least half of our party was present which I understand, however after being seated specifically one of my guest later expressed that she had to go to the bar herself and ask for bread and crackers since food was not received until around 4:15. I visit the aquarium several times throughout the year in Kemah by myself since I am also a Landry s select member. During our visit the manager did not at any time come over to speak with us or introduce himself/herself or ask if we needed anything, especially given the concerns already expressed. Instead, our waitress walked back and forth to mediate. As often as I visit, a manager has always and I mean always has come by to at least say hello and check on us. The impression I received from the start of this total experience was that all large party RSVPs have to go through the sales team which require a deposit to hold the RSVP. At the restaurant it was communicated to me moving forward to not go through the sales teams to avoid the very experience I encountered. There was just a lot of back and forth and he say she say, I don t know why you were told that. They wouldn t adjust the gratuity even though the agreement states that you can request an adjustment and to speak with management regarding such matters. After being seated I informed my waitress before my remaining guests arrived regarding an adjustment to the gratuity since I would be taking care of it. She asked what I had in mind, I told her and when our waitress returned from speaking with management it sounded as though their suggested amount stated in agreement was going to be the final amount required. It all felt very forced regardless of the total experience and not just my experience but also my guests. Suggested and automatic gratuity are not the same. Maybe that wasn t the intent but it was all very contradictory to me. I don t think anyone is entitled to gratuity based on party size alone. It s based on the quality of service received overall. This was the first and last of any type of group celebration here. There is clearly a disconnect between the restaurant and sales and I just hate that it had to be on a day that was supposed to celebratory. I can only wish that my deposit would be returned but I know that won t happen. I do have to note that our waitress was not rude in any way however this was still not a great experience and the absolute worst in over 8 years. I can t say I won t be back because I love the food but it will definitely be a while before visiting again. This rating and review is based on this specific experience and feedback from my guests.

I wasnt impressed with the food and another person in my party wasnt either. The red snapper was tasteless. We waited almost an hour to get our food. We werent offered bread to enjoy before our food was served. Good thing we asked for some as we waited too long to get food served.The waitress was working the bar AND tables which caused her to forget to check on us... I guess. Went for breakfast with Santa and everything was amazing! The manager Rahman was a total doll and made sure the food was perfect! He checked on our table multiple times to see if we needed anything. Our server Andrea was an absolute pleasure! She made sure our experience was memorable. We will be coming back next year!!

Our waiter, Glen, was personable positive and very accommodaring during our visit. Offered substitutions for drinks due to the draft beer station being out of service that day. The food was timely delivered and well presented. Not at all cool either. The dessert, the gingerbread house, went down quite nicely. The cost of the meals was reasonable considering the quality of this establishment. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend the Aquarium to anyone.

Visited the Aquarium restaurant at Kemah Boardwalk and one thing in particular stuck out to me besides the delicious food - the amazing customer service of Melanie. My friend and I were enjoying our meal and Melanie came out on behalf of management and not only checked to see if our food was prepared to our liking, but to have small talk as well. I cannot tell you how something so small made such a huge difference in our experience! We were made to feel like family/royalty and that s just something you don t feel when going out ANYWHERE these days. I ve been raving about this place since we left and I can t wait to come back with more friends! Would rate 10 stars if I could!!!

The fish were cool but the waiter was attempting to guilt us into buying more food so that he would get a larger tip and when we said no he acted personally offended. Furthermore, a few hours later my stomach didn t feel so good but I just blamed it on bloating or something but after a long night of tossing a turning, at about 6:15am this morning, 15 minutes before writing this review, I threw up what was left of my dinner. Try somewhere else, please Also, I understand it is an aquarium and you are paying for your food as well as the experience but the food was extremely overpriced for what it was. Update: I felt nauseous and sick for about 30 straight hours afterwards

Went here with a group for a special occasion last night. The hostess was very sweet and lead us to our table, and talked about all the fish tanks we could look at. However, the rest of the experience wasn t as pleasant. Our server continued to push us to order more appetizers we didn t need, and more expensive options for entrees and drinks, and seemed to get personally offended when we declined the offer. The food was alright, and I definitely understood the experience being part of the price, but it was certainly overpriced for the quality and proportions which was a bit disappointing. Not only this, but my friend also got very sick and threw up from the food he ate later on. Overall, definitely a place appealing to tourism and not something I would recommend if you are looking for local, authentic seafood, especially at a reasonable price. The service in particular was the killer for us, maybe check your options!

The Aquarium restaurant in Kemah is absolutely gorgeous! I love the food! Great steaks, great seafood! Biggest attraction is that it is on the water and it has a three-story aquarium inside. Great for a romantic date and or great for just hanging out with the family, the kids will love it, my grand children do. This place has hosted dozens of our families Milestones for over 18 years. If you ve never gone, you must see it for yourself!

The service was so poor that we didnt stay to order dinner. We sat for nearly 10 minutes without being greeted by a server. This while 4 servers were right behind us, slouching against a serving credenza, loudly joking and story telling among themselves. The service that I did observe at other tables was totally not befitting a restaurant of this price range.... auctioning off food at the tables, servers speaking more casually than a Waffle House waitress, overall very unprofessional service environment. At this price point, the service should be on point, not lackluster and not missing on so many details. Server barking aggressively You Good? at the table next to us after they had their food instead of taking the extra moment to professionally address their guests, servers asking if the food was good walking past tables but not stopping to actually communicate with their tables, servers ignoring everything around them. Bussers with wet bus tubs walking around the dining room, coming in contact with our table in the most casual and unprofessional ways... it was gross. The service attitude seemed to be akin to a fast food churn and burn atmosphere, conveying the attitude of Were the Aquarium so we dont have to be professional, well be plenty busy regardless of how poor our service quality is. Having worked in hospitality, let me say that the number of unforced service errors I witnessed in that 10 minute wait made me never want to come back there to dine, and I never saw a manager. The hostess was the only professional member of their staff. The aquarium itself with the fish was very nice to watch. Just dont waste your time and money to eat there, there are so many better alternatives right around in Kemah, and right down the street is Tommys in Clear Lake (less expensive, much better food, top notch service).

Last night was our first time going to this restaurant after an 8 hour drive with a two year old! Our waitress, Teejah, was SO sweet, knowledgeable of the menu and the aquarium fish, and was patient! The food was out quickly and good. The atmosphere last night perfect for a crabby toddler (who was up past bedtime) since he was interested in the aquarium fish and it kept him entertained for the most part and it wasnt crowded! The place is great, but the service we recieved was top-notch (thank you, Teejah)! Parking: There are a handful of spots leading up to the entrance, but also a parking garage next to it.
