More local news please! So thankful to still have a local paper with local stories. Wish more people supported that concept. Fewer subscribers will only mean fewer local stories and more national only news and therefore more fake news. Also, I love my delivery person and am happy to support the local job market by subscribing to delivery at my home. Still love the feel of the paper in my hand every morning with my coffee.

This office has no one in office a person can go inside and subscribe to or pay their bill. instead one has to call the office phone to wait 45 minutes on hold, because they subcontract marketing and such to anothet company that handles several newspapers all over the USA. My roommate called, ordered a subscription to have sent to a relative residing out of town, but they like keeping up with local things here. Paid for first month in advance and quoted $18.00. She is older and not tecn savvy, so online pay or reading paper for either party no good. She got bill a few days later for $38.00 per month. Called and waited over hour to get this corrected. The relative called yesterday and told has not received a print yet. It has been over 6 weeks now. I call this bad management and very unprofessional. If no one in office, how are they receiving interviews or news stories? When I lost my husband I went there over 10 years ago to have obit in paper, the man handed me paper and forms to fill out and walked off. I had never had to do such and being in a grief stricken state of mind I felt like it was a bother to assist me. He did not look busy as he sat at desk in back talking to other people there. If that had not been important I would have left. I paid $95.00 for less than 100 words and 2 day run. I can only imagine what cost is now. I have lost many people last 10 years and I dont find obit in this paper 75% of time. I look online to see and find out plans. I wonder if they report fake news!!

Used to be able to go down and pick up your paper now you have to call in the Carolinas and you have better call before certain time or you cant get through newspapers used to be a lot better

Newspaper delivery is spotty at best. Ive called the distribution manager many times with little success since he never answers the phone, and left voice mails over and over. No response. Made a newspaper tube for the paper to go in so it doesnt get wet in the ditch. Delivery person refuses to use it but instead throws it in the ditch or mud. If you really need a paper that badly go to the store and get one. At least then you can read it. VERY unsatisfied customer.

Life long member plus all grandparents were also, I,m patriarch ,would like to say , hated to read that no more LETTERS TO THE EDITOR ,will. Accept letters concerning Our LORD JESUS CHRIST! You are for HIM or against HIM money is no option,,,,,,,please don,t let the paper fall prey to the ways of this world but to the most important topics of this day. This is crucial and our paper can be a stepping stone in the right direction. Thank you........jerry and joyce
