This has been my home parish since I moved here to Texas back in 2017, and I absolutely love it here. The people here are truly kind and wonderful. There are many different ministries you can get involved with to meet new people and make friends with. Deacon Greg is absolutely incredible too, hes by far the best deacon Ive ever had the pleasure of listening to and getting to know personally. The parish is beautiful both inside and out. Im blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.

Beautiful, sweet, and traditional church with a chapel, stained glass windows, and organ music. The prayer garden with the blessed mother is uplifting and inspiring. It s located next to downtown Wylie. Very welcoming.

I love St Anthony Catholic Church. It was meant to be for me to live in my new town and go to this church. It is a huge beautiful church. The pastor and the deacon are so good. Also all the lay ministers and the altar boys are so great. There are a lot of altar boys too.

I have gone to mass here several times and then it started.... the squealing ,crying kids [ numerous] being so loud i could only hear bits of the mass and could not keep up.. Recently it was announced that you need to take crying kids out so im thinking , great finally a peaceful mass that we can hear. Didnt happen. The following sunday AGAIN it was announced that kids need to be removed if being loud and the ushers would be enforcing this rule. AGAIN im thinking great finally this time. Did not happen. The ushers stood there and did nothing! I guess the parents are not listening to announcements or they just dont care. VERY rude to others. Kids cannot understand whats being said and therefore cannot focus on the mass. Either provide a nursery or enforce the rule that was announced or ask the parents to leave kids who disturb mass at home. Im giving St Anthony one more chance to correct this disturbance that occurs at every sunday mass and if not corrected as they said it would be im finding a different parish.

After moving here and starting a family my husband and I had been trying to find a new Catholic Church for us, also to have my son baptized. I was told to find better godparents and that they wouldn t acknowledge us because we were not married in the Catholic Church. We are both born and raised catholic, he was married previously to someone and was married in the church. The god parents are my sister whom is catholic and her husband, they are in the military and travel a lot so hard for them to settle into a church. Now my son is 7 and all I want is for my child to be baptized! This kills me as now my husband does not want to come back to the church because of all this.

People using hand Sanitizer after shaking hands during consecration is wrong. Jesus associated with all classes of people from Beggars, Tax Collectors , Prostitutes and the very Wealthy. At the PM mass, on 5 different occasions, during the consecration, members of the congregation refused shaking hands with me. It was subtle but implied. The Catholic Church is universal, home for all races and cultures. I was made to know my kind arent welcome.
