Very weird place. You walk right into a non descriptive menu and the food is around the corner on a buffet style bar. No way to tell what to do. I kind of wanted to put my things down and be seated before encountering the weird menu situation. We just left and went someplace else.

The food is great, portions are large, and there are plenty of vegetarian options. Usually get the roasted cauliflower and gyros most visits and change up the rest. They seem a bit understaffed- tables were not being cleared for most of our time there and then it was only one person by themselves. Have eaten here many times before and they also do well with takeout. Just be sure to double check your takeout order before leaving as we have experienced a lot of mixups in the past.

I have been here probably a dozen times and it always boggles me it isn t busier. The food is DELICIOUS, the portions are large, and everyone is really nice. The pita is made right in front of you and it s so good! My only mild criticism is the dining area could probably be a little spruced up? The lighting is cool and there are some interesting paintings, but it is otherwise a little ick feeling with the Pepsi drink machines right in the dining area, etc. could probably use some fresh paint and more plants (they look great in the entry). I do love the music though and absolutely recommend for a delicious, casual meal!

It was a pretty bad visit followed by getting sick an hour later. I guess it wasnt sanitary. The Jamaican accented guy was the worst. Learn some English already! They wont serve the food - it is a long drawn out process of them repeatedly telling you how many sides you are having then asking if you really want the food that you asked for and that repeated as well, like you cant order that. It was a struggle just going through the food line.

Cafeteria style restaurant. The pita was fresh and fluffy. Meats were well seasoned and cooked well. Plenty of options of sides. There are dips, fresh salads and warm side options. For the main dish, there were chicken, beef, fish and lamb options. The serving plates were large enough that your sides weren t all on top of each other. The main dish was served in its own bowl. The dining area is very casual. Very home style cooking.

I went to this place to try a new thing. When I got there there was no instructions of how is the dynamics of restaurant, where I should order and how many options I had included on the plate, (after a while I found a board with some instructions) they were also out of pitta breads and when I asked about it, the guy opening the oven said Im working on it really harshly. Later I asked some questions like whats the flavors, and if he got any recommendations for the guy in front of the humus options and he acted like I shouldnt be asking questions, really confusing experience until I get to the salad guy that kinda explained to me the options, what was included and how much would be for each add on. The meat option was my mistake, it tasted really sweet like they put sugar on it mixed with curry, but they told me it was regular roasted beef. Anyway, the food was not great as I was expecting, the service was disappointing, and the atmosphere was average. I dont know if I would give another try to take the bad impression away...

The baked red snapper is highly flavorful and delightful. Wow it truly satisfied me in every way. We are picky when it comes to eating due to the food being weaponized. We can tell this restaurant use quality ingredients. Unsanitary. The woman who is sweeping the floor as I am writing this review, wore no gloves while handling my food. Unfortunately she also pulled excess food out of my platter with her bare hands. I recently dined here and had an extremely disappointing experience. The customer service was pretty mediocre. I had to repeat my order three times to different servers and was left hanging for several minutes each time. Even after all the repetitions, they still managed to get my order wrong. The mango fresh juice was outrageously priced, and it was the worst mango juice I ve ever had. Additionally, the so-called fresh French fries were clearly just frozen fries that were half-cooked. Overall, the food quality was terrible and the prices were eye-watering. Combined with the terrible customer service, this was an all-around bad experience. I won t be returning and wouldn t recommend this place to anyone.

Let me start with the Customer service! My family and I drive over an hour to come here for the food, we love the food HOWEVER the customer service from the middle eastern woman (I believe her name is Sam) is absolutely disrespectful, disgusting, and makes us not want to come back. She is very rude, stingy with the sides, walk around like she is better than everyone else and miserable. I ve witnessed her be Unkind to her coworkers and overall she is an unpleasant person to deal with. I ve complained to management and if something is not done we will not be returning. I just came here to say WOWWWZA!!! Ive had mediocre and over priced Mediterranean food before, and Im not impressed with food very often, but everything here was ASTOUNDING! We are from Shreveport, stopped in for dinner. The staff was so precious and helpful, the sauces were authentic and EVERY.SINGLE.THING was Sopped with deep, robust flavor, I was taken back with my first bite! I could need a wheelchair to help me roll out after eating that pita bread, its a dessert in itself. I loved the atmosphere and it was very clean. 6 stars, will mark as a favorite! Sad to give such a bad review but it s well deserved. I m friends with the owners Wassim and Sam and was there when they were opening this location and needless to say I ve been going there ever since. However something tells me this will not be in business by the end of this year. Either the lease which is about $30k/month is up for renewal and they re just riding it until then or the cost of food and lack of customers are killing them. I have no problem with increased prices especially if the food is authentic because everything costs more, the problem for me as a Lebanese person who knows what the food is supposed to taste like and what it tasted like originally at Andalous, the food I was served last night is an insult to Lebanon and to Lebanese cuisine. You can tell from the all Hispanic staff that there s no one who knows how the food is supposed to test so I don t blame the staff for anything including their terrible service and lazy attitude. As they say: the fish rots from head and that s the owners. Guys either serve good food like you ve done for years or put that place out of its misery and close it down already. We got confused on how to order. Its a cafeteria style, which is not an open buffet, neither table service! The order is in reverse, so pick your salads and sides and lastly your meat. This means that by the time you reach the meat menu you might have filled with sides that are not compatible with your meat.. I dont know.. I just got confused on what I was eating.

Love this place. You can get a huge plate of food. The food is delicious! Not the biggest fan of the chicken kebab (mine was just a lil dry). But the garlic sauce, hummus, pasta salad, bean salad, pita bread. Everyday delicious! Tastes so authentic. Really great service. Lots of drinks options. Lots of seating available. 2 different entrance & exits to the restaurant. Came back. 2nd visit. Clean food. Wasnt a huge fan of the spicy hummus, it tasted like paprika that wasnt mixed in properly. The pasta salad had too much of a certain seasoning. The chicken is great but you dont get a lot of meat, mine was full of 3 chicken pieces and a bunch or veggies. The rice was perfect. This visit in April was disappointing. Called in. Spoke to the manager and he apologized but didnt seem to care, didnt seem genuine at all. To go order...the roast beef was terribly dry (tasted good but dry!). I told him unless its supposed to be that dry then he needs to check the rest of the pan they pulled my order from or confirm theyre following proper procedure in how long theyre to cook it. All he said was ok. They were out if curry chicken so they substituted another chicken. It was fine. They didnt give me eating utensils or napkins in my to go order. Thankfully i had a plastic fork in my car glove box. The containers they put the food in dont keep the juice in. Lot of the juice from the meats ended up puddled in bottom of the plastic bag it was in and the bag had small holes in it but fortunately and unfortunately the paper sack the pita bread was in helped to soak some of it up. I ate in my car and thankfully I had enough sense before I realized the holes were even there to cover my lap before I started eating. And when opening the containets of food the juices the gathered in part of the lids came spilling out. Greasy chicken/roast beef juice would have been on my nice clothes. Quite annoyed with this but manager felt no big deal. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Came back again for the yummy red snapper and veggies. So affordable for a quick healthy meal but had to comment because this time I had their pita bread. Its amazing best Ive ever tasted. You can tell its freshly made unlike other places that use pre-made stuff they pull out of a bag. Tastes like what wed buy from the grocery store and its ok but Andalous is definitely superior. It tastes like fresh soft chewy pizza dough to me. If youre one that enjoys pizza including the crust and even asks to eat others crust that wasted theirs, youll like this. I also split my second side between the Taziki and the cold mushroom and onion salad. It does also come with 2 giant Pita breads, they a large and fresh and soft Pita Breads. Possibly the very best I have ever had! So, next time I would get one of the many hot veggies. They all looked so amazing! Really hard to decide. They all look fresh and delicious!!! Was all pretty nice till one of the servers told my mother that the rice was not vegetarian, but he had served me and other people in my group who had ordered the vegetarian platter with the non-vegetarian rice and didnt even mention or advise that it had meat in it. Food quality and quantity has gone down A LOT too

Customer service is very poor, even worst my daughter get food poisoning at this place unfortunately no sanitation. They are very dirty, You can just find out from the bathroom is disgusting as well. Please stay away from this place, specially if you have kids with you.

I use to come at this location every week, and for my surprise they reduced the portions , also the quality of the food is not the same anymore, chicken chaorma was my favorite, but now have a weird taste. Maybe they changed ownership, because I dont see the same people either.

I visited Andalous after a long time and was very disappointed. Food was terrific, but service and quantity have gone down steeply. I went at a busy time, but server was very annoyed behind the salad/dip bar at taking orders. Also quantity of salad bowls have decreased significantly!! It is half the size it used be and at $10 it is not worth it.

Heard about this Mediterranean restaurant from one of our friend. We chose veggie sampler and 1 meat+2 sides, and lamb shank. Veggie sampler is best: specifically hummus, fattoush, zuccini mushroom. Rice/ pulao and fresh pita was absolutely amazing. Lamb shank was perfectly cooked, soft. But their fish dish and okra wasn t appetizing at all. And you need to pay for other pickle and garlic sauce. But overall. It was a nice experience.

Huge portions, quality was very good, staff was very good. Signage wasnt great I wasnt sure what I was doing at first and then the lady told me about sides/etc. There were a lot of tables that needed to be bussed, the lady came to clean them out right as they were running out of tables. Maybe could do a tray stand where folks buss their own stuff and tables just need wiped down. $21 for lunch but the quality was extremely high. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, no like playground but well behaved kids are ok.

Our food tasted great. My only complaint is that our to go fries were packed in a plastic container that also had the ketchup container in it. It felt like a shrewd business move to have less fries fit in the container. The order had other loose sauces in the bag, so I dont think it had anything to do with spilling.
