Very nostalgic. I used to go to The Woodlands location as a kid and today brought back a lot of happy memories. Service was great! Shout out to Christina! Food was hot and tasty! Overall great family friendly lunch! Vegetarian options: Vegan Shakes with cashew and oat milk. The impossible burger with dairy free cheese option. Kid-friendliness: Kids get a cute hat.

Zachary was the waiter. Im not sure if he was hard at hearing or didnt want to wait on us. It took a while before our order was taken and getting our ticket upon leaving. But most disappointing was the amount of time it took for us to get lukewarm food. Also, it should be shameful to charge $12 for a simple burger and not include fries.... total waste of money and time, $88 dollars with tip at lunch for subpar service and food. Very disappointing.

Wow. Words cannot describe. My grandma had a heat stroke, the staff were so quick to help. After, they stayed open just so we can sit inside. Which by the way was as thoughtful enough as it gets . They let us order food, and after when we tried to pay, they would not let us. Everything we ordered was on the house. Krista, Rian, Sydney, and Christin were the sweetest most amazing people. Oh let s not forget the food. IT WAS THE BEST BURGER I EVER HAD. I m not even lying, the best burger. Incredible staff, incredible food.

We really enjoyed our first visit at Johnny Rockets to celebrate our birthday with lunch! We loved the 50 s decor and the music jukeboxes! Our food came out hot and delicious. The crew was all women and they rocked the lunch shift! It was impressive watching them work! They were in sync and so efficient! The one guy working customized my shake and it was thick, creamy, and delicious! Marissa was our server and she was great! Thank you for our meal celebrating our special day!

The food was extremely overpriced for the very average quality! 30 minutes after placing our order, I was served a chicken sandwich - I had ordered a chicken salad. The waiter offered to take it back but no guarantee how long it would take for the replaced meal. 15% service fee was added to the bill. We had to seek our server for well over 10 minutes to get our checks and it took another 15 for our receipts and credit cards to be returned. The restrooms were atrocious! Johnny Rocket s used to be one of our favorite places but it has become the worst experience I have had in a while. First off, we ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a few burgers, all of which arrived ~45-50 minutes later. Seeing as the restaurant was not even close to being full, this had to be the product of inefficiency. If not that the staff themselves were inefficient, the restaurant was extremely understaffed. Second, (once the food actually came) I could not finish eating the chicken, as it tasted like one of the ingredients was plastic. Perhaps it was lab-grown or not real chicken? But in any case, I ended up eating the bun with fries in it. Not ideal. Finally, considering there were ~4 people working at the restaurant in total, I m not even going to think about what critters might be back there in the kitchen. It was not particularly clean. Will not come back.

On top of that we were denied sitting at a booth even though it was clearly available and clean. And no, they dont take reservations. We were told it was because tables are on rotation. Way to make your customers, who spent $165 for 6 average burger, fries, and drinks happy! We only ate there because it was in the outlet mall. So yourself a favor and easy elsewhere!

So I don t really know how the food tastes because no one would seat us. After standing at the hostess stand for 5 minutes and being passed by a manager and servers without acknowledgment, we gave up. The atmosphere was cool, and they were not very busy at 11:45, so being seated should not have been a problem. Looking around, it appeared that a couple of tables needed attention and no one appeared to be coming to provide customer service. Had time constraints and figured there is no shortage of places to eat. Step up.

Shrinkflation is real! As San Marcos outlets attracts people from around the world, you would think their presentation would be better..$70 bill for 5....3kids 2adults... 2 kids meals (hot dog and chicken strips, 1 burger and 3 small shakes, 1 chili cheese fries....the hot dog is now standard backyard bbq size not the footlong. Bun is no longer the hoagie size....save yourself some money and get the kids hot dog meal same hot dog as the adult except cut in half.....no apple pie... would definitely skip this place.

Terrible experience! 20 minutes waiting for a table and it took 40 minutes to take our order and bring our food. The food was disgusting. It had no seasoning on the burger. I ordered a double bacon burger and my husband had a double burger no bacon. It was full of grease. I ve been sick since I ate there the server was great but the food was horrible. The cook that was making the burgers was a young boy he had on black gloves. This restaurant is in the Outlet malls and I know it can get kind of busy but this night was kind of slow if you ask me. We ended up having to wait for quite a bit and when we finally got seated, I could tell there was miscommunication with everyone that worked there. Got there right at opening time of 12pm. We were the first table in there and it took forever to get our food. I believe it was the owner who was seating everyone and took our order. Our table ordered kids chicken fingers, hot dog with fries, chili cheese fries, and bacon cheese fries. The chili cheese fries arrived cold. We did ask for them to be heated up and they were but it just took forever. My sister and I decided to eat here for lunch. HUGE!! Mistake. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings and sister had chicken tenders and fries. The onion rings and fries were a seperate charges. The chicken tenders were below average...not fresh, frozen and cost $11.49 plus additional $2.99 for flavorless fries. I was charged extra for cheese for the hamburger total $13.00 plus another $8.00 for a small plate of onion rings! For the price of the meal the fries and onion rings should have been included. The service was horrible, from the hostess to the waitress! We asked for a booth, the hostess said there wasnt any available. I pointed to two which were clearly available. The waitress were observed slinging their hair over the food and running their hands through their hair then touching customers food. Wendys would have been much better

The salad $7.99 was all lettuce, a sprinkling of carrots and tomatoes and dry cheese. The burger looked okay, fries looked fine and the grilled cheese wasn t anything to shout about. The banana shake was too sweet. I would drive further or go hungry before I would come back.

I stumbled upon this place while out of town & let me just say the burgers are amazing!!! They were hands down the best burger I ve tasted in years (possibly ever). I couldn t help but go back the next day & get another one. Fast & friendly service on both days. Now I m praying they have one of these in Houston!!!!!

Tried the Route 66 Single. Instead of fries, I ordered tater tots. There were enough tots to feed a family of 5. The burger was great, it wasnt a flat, thin, piece of meat. Service was so-so. I was greeted by a hosted. It took a while before my wait staff came toy table. I was getting ready to go to the counter and place my order. My server was nice, perhaps new. Something she did that surprised me was she circled on the receipt suggested tip. The restaurant is located in the Outlet Mall, Im going to go with the excuse there are a large amount of foreign tourists. Some countries dont tip or very little. So, lets go with that.

the place was crazy with only 2 person attending, serving, taking orders and cleaning... I know they try to do their best but was not good enough. the standarized taste of a JR franchise is not followed properly. I have to recommend it but personally I wont come back again...

This was our first time to eat in this restaurant and it was above my expectation. I really loved the food there. A good tray of fries and veggie burgers. Usually we go by double burger but this time, we were craving for veggie burger. It tasted really good. The staff is so friendly too. My next time there, I will definitely try the meat burger and the chicken one too.

Only thing good here was the taste of the burger. The size is another thing. All our burger patties were the same size, the kids sliders and the adult burgers. I was extremely disappointed that they didnt have onion rings. Thats one thing I love to have whenever possible. The server was nice but we had to keep asking for refills.
