My overall experience with the employees inside was just horrible if it was my establishment none of them would have a job. They took our order and told us it will be ready in 15 minutes right after they asked if it was going to be card or cash we told them cash. Then the young woman who answered the phone told me you would have to pay when you get inside like that s not obvious. I arrived and they didn t even start my food. They told me it would be an additional 15 minutes because I sounded unsure when I was ordering over the phone. If they have a problem with cash then they should just say so over the phone and online where everything is just with a card payment.

I actually planned on writing a good review tonight after planning to receive my expected order but the service I received tonight was unacceptable. I placed an order on Grubhub around 730pm. The grubhub app clearly states that the restaurant has their own drivers and doesn t use grubhub s. I knew this because I had recently ordered twice from them. The expected delivery was 30-45 minutes. 9pm came and I called to check on my order. The guy that answered said no one from grubhub came to pick it up yet. I had to tell him that they don t use grubhub drivers. He had to put me on hold to confirm this smh. He said they will send the order out shortly. 955pm came (5 minutes before closing) and I received an email stating that my order was cancelled due to them being busier than normal. I called and was immediately hung up on. I called again in case it was an accident. Someone picked up and held the phone and didn t say anything. It s now 10pm and I wasted hours waiting around for them when I could ve been getting something else! I will NEVER order from them again

We are here for Track regionals and staying at the Hampton Inn across the street. Four of us went over for dinner. My daughter and I shared the small salad and each got a personal pizza. Everything was so good! The salad was fresh cut romaine with a whole sliced tomato, almost half a green pepper and cheese. Pizza was amazing! Fresh mozzarella, delicious sauce and pepperoni. The other pizza was the Hawaiian- bacon, ham, pineapple and cheese. Delicious!

When we found this place, we wondered how a small hole in the wall place stays in business. Then we tried the pizza and quickly found out why. Its delicious! The employees leave a little something to be desired, though. They could definitely use some training on the specials, and the one girl always pronounces gourmet as gor-met. Makes us laugh every time.

The pizzas have a unique flavor, which no other pizza store in Houston has, the ingredients are of excellent quality, the food is really delicious, the flavor of the sauces is impressive, I dont buy pizza from another store because Korner Slice does. It has everything, excellent attention, service and for me no pizza tastes better, it is too good. Im giving this 5 stars because it s perfect every time, every item we have ever ordered is SO good! My family and I are pizza lovers, this is the one place we can all agree on, if you have teens you know they never agree on ANYTHING lol not only is the pizza and breadsticks great but we just tried to pepperoni rolls and they are so delicious and might i add my 11 year old never wants wings but after our wing order from here hes officially found his favorite item besides the pizza. I usually only order form big chain restaurants because they re more affordable and delicious but this is one of my favorite locally owned pizza shops! I m vegetarian so I m very glad they offer tons of options including their pasta and lasagna because the meat is in the sauce so you cna still get them. My husband and I were excited to try a new pizza place. Delivery was quick and pizzas were correct. We both ordered personal pizzas, and only ate 2 pieces. I felt something didn t taste right or really wasn t agreeing with me and my husband came from another room and told me the same with his. Later that evening we both got sick and it lasted for 2 days with my husband accompanied by a fever, and me thankfully only the one day.

Update: they have been working their way back up to 5 stars. Time and future orders will tell. 5 stars until March 14th. Quantities on my order were taken incorrectly. When I get to the store I realize I am being charged for too many pizzas. The manager was PERSISTENT on getting me to pay for everything including the extra pizzas I DID NOT order. He had an attitude and a smirk the whole time I tried to explain that there was a mistake. Had my order been repeated to me this would never had happened. Delicious pizza, but I would hate to deal with the manager again.

Just received my food and I m very disappointed. One pound of wings where? My fettuccine with pesto sauce is soooo dry and bland. Paid $1.40 to add mushrooms I ve seen 2 small ones. I m at a hotel visiting Houston so I don t even have anything I can doctor it up with to make it better. Guess I ll just eat the cheese sticks they were good.

The food is goodbut the delivery driver was extremely unprofessional, I left a 15% tip and they told me that the tip was not enough money, and to make sure it was higher next time, which is ridiculous. A tip is not required and to lecture someone when they leave 15% is just rude. I was genuinely flabbergasted at the behavior Edit: Manager called me as soon as this was posted to apologize. This made me change the rating from 2 to 4 stars. I should touch on the food a bit more, I got the build your own calzone and added pepperoni, Italian sausage, and salami. For the price, it is hard to beat a calzone that dang good. The breakfast pizza was also really good. Big shoutout to the manager for taking care of this so quickly

Probably some of the best pizza in Humble and definitely a better option than the pizza chains. The pizzas are a good size, the crust has a good bite, the sauce is tasty, and they do a good layering of toppings. I had the Korners express and it was delicious. The boneless buffalo wings are also a really good option, the 1lb portion gives you a lot of wings and they are not little pieces by any means. The left over slices were still good the next day, both cold and microwaved. The only problem I had, and I dont think this is enough to take out a star, but when ordering through their website the confirmation email does not provide an estimated pick up time and you do not receive an email when the order is ready to be picked up. I had to call the store to ask if the order was ready. Not a big deal just something that could be improved on. The ordering experience might be different using door dash or Uber eats.

I came in at 2/5/22 to pick up a order and needless to say the young man yelling at the woman in the back was so unprofessional and shocking (apparently about a door being left open) I was worried with they yelling and profanity the young man Im guessing was the manager was saying to her she left the restaurant and she looked very hurt and the employees continued talking about her after she left and Im thoroughly disappointed in this business and the way that was handled.

I was out with my best friend looking for something to eat and the only Pizza Joint we found open was all the way down 1960 in the humble Atascocita area I had a half a pizza and a calzone the first time and the calzone was just absolutely amazing it has the kind of a crisp as you bite into it and the soft meaty and cheese insides is an amazing combination so I went back and got calzone for the GF she absolutely loved it and so the third time I went back and got a pizza extra large which is awesome if you get extra cheese on it highly recommend Grilled Chicken on any combination and mind you I am an hour away from these people and more than happy to drive for that pizza! Also I like how they represent Texas on their pizza boxes!!

Ive been ordering pizza from this restaurant for the past few years, but Im finally writing a review--and for good reason. Korner slice offers pizza just on par if not better than the other pizza giants, and their friendly service feels like walking home to mom n pop. The cheese is a nice thick but stringy consistency rightly in a proper ratio to the amount of sauce. The crust is crunchy, yet melts right in with the rest of the bite. They occasionally offer great deals and the fair price is worth every penny. If youre looking for a pizza that wont bore the party guests, this is your place.

Apparently if you order through the app which is recommended and asks you twice to download it when you call their establishment to order, the guy that works there gets angry for not calling to order instead.. We ordered one half pepperoni and half cheese pizza and they got our order wrong(all pepperoni) so my boyfriend went back to let the guy know, and he started cursing at him saying hes f*ing r*tarded for ordering like that. Pizza looked like little Ceasars but without the little chasers price tag. It tasted like it too. I felt bad since they said business was bad, but now I see why. The pizza isnt even pizza. Love this place. We have ordered 5-6 times over the past few months. Everything has been so delicious. I think its the best pizza in HKA area. Meatball calzone is cheesy and loaded with meat! BBQ wings are smokey, sweet, moist. They may have some of the best wings I ve ever tasted. Aloha pizza is salty and sweet, loaded with cheese- we add jalapeños for a kick. We create our own alfredo pizza topped with gourmet cheese, garlic, ricotta, fresh spinach and mushrooms- love it! Korner Express is meaty, cheesy and a little spice, reminds me of Chicago style pie the way they layer the toppings with cheese. The ranch chicken is absolutely delicious. We aren t ranch & pizza type people.... but after trying their jalapeño ranch and regular ranch as dipping sauces, we ventured out. Wow! Chicken ranch is an explosion of flavors. Crust tastes buttery. Its soft in the middle with crunchy crust. I would say it s a mix of Chicago pan (not deep dish) and NY style crust. Very original tasting, that s for sure! I have only placed orders online. Order is always correct & hot when it arrives. Delivery drivers are always so nice and say hi to our barking fur babies. I would definitely recommend trying them out.

Korner slice is the type of pizza place, your glad is in your neighborhood. Its not the type of place you would drive out of your way to get, but your glad its around the corner to grab a decent slice. The only real problem with Korner slice is consistency. Somedays you can go in and get a great slice, other days you get a horrible slice. I prime example is the bell peppers on your pizza, some days they are slice thin enough to soften and develope a nice sweetness, and other days they are huge junks thats dont soften, are basically still raw and ruin your experience.... The cheese is good, the sauce is ok, the crust is fine, the meats get the job done...all in all Korner slice is a great change of place from the usual pizza chain..

$20 for a 14 pizza. 1/2 sausage & pepperoni and 1/2 Margarita. Supposed to be on thin crust--- Dough was like Pillsbury refrigerated with bad texture. Little if any flavor on either side. I will say their pizza is very good, however I drove by a delivery car with the Korner Slice car topper on it, and the guy inside looked about in his 30s, with black hair and gauges and he was smoking a cigarette. He was driving a white car. I wouldnt personally want a pizza being delivered from a car full of cigarette smoke. But, the pizza is good!

I ve lived in Houston since October. I am from the Indianapolis, Chicago, Midwest areas, and know pizza.I have not been able to find a good pizza on the north east side at all. I m glad I came here, it was excellent. I would definitely recommend and I will be back. I ordered the meat lovers and added additional pepperoni and green pepper.

Ive never eaten here, but I drive for doordash and have picked up food here, several times. Every time I come, I have to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for the order and most of the time, Im late for my scheduled pickup time because of that. The long wait is the main reason I havent tried to spend my own money here. At the busiest it ever was, upon any of my visits, there were 2 other people beside myself.

Manager is on point with attention to customer and detail or order. Everything is fresh with a grill taste to it. The wings were juicy and had a lot of flavor. They are also keto friendly. I have given this store MULTIPLE opportunities to get it right and just cant seem to do it. Making pizza and delivering it is not rocket science. I order the same thing, the same way almost every time I order. I use the opportunity their gives me to remind them not once, but twice, to put all sauce on the side. Every single time, with the exception of once, theyve gotten it wrong by either putting sauce on the calzone or leaving it dry and not including the sides of sauce that were requested and in some cases charge an additional fee for. Im talking probably at least a dozen times over the last several months. I just dont get it. I worked in the service industry for close to 20 years and I didnt make as many mistakes in that entire time as they have the short period time Ive been a customer. This most recent time, I called them and told they (once again) neglected to delivery my sauces. The guy was nice and apologetic and said he would have a driver bring some by. I guess it was my fault that I didnt specify that I expected it to be done immediately, BEFORE my food was ice cold. Silly me. 30 minutes later they finally delivered it...the store is literally 5 minutes, including any stop lights, from my home, so 30 minutes to deliver missing items is unacceptable...I should have been a priority. This was the last straw. Theyd have to give me unlimited free orders for a year and not make ANY mistakes if they ever expect to get anymore of my money. Im tired of rewarding total incompetence.

I frequent this location as well as the other location in Spring and the food is always solid and the service is spot on. I haven t had any issues with delivery or pick-up until tonight. My last order for pick-up was totally botched and I ended up leaving with the wrong pizza. I was offered a refund or another pizza but I would have to pick it up (I paid cash and would have to head back anyways). I didn t take offense to the issue and just elected to head back and get the correct pizza. It struck me as odd that the young lady asked me to bring the first pizza back but I really didn t give it a second thought. The issue I had was really about the customer service during the exchange of the old pizza for the new one. There was no sorry for the inconvenience or sorry for our mistake she looked at me as if she wanted to laugh and smirked. I guess the inconvenience of me having to drive back in traffic because of their mistake never crossed her mind. I m never one to complain but the young lady at the counter (she was also the one I spoke with on the phone) was totally disingenuous. Though this may seem small to others to me customer service goes a long way.

Tried this place out a while after they left a menu on the door. In my opinion, it wasnt worth it for how much we paid. The delivery driver couldnt find our apartment complex and didnt know any english so it was very hard to help him find us. The pizza and the wings.. were not the best. This was our first time trying them out, I ordered the Italian sandwich & my husband got a calzone. My sandwich was super greasy and the lettuce on the sandwich was not at all fresh. I took only 1 bite, and the flavors were so off, it was just mushy and didn t taste like Italian at all.. my husband however ate most of his calzone but had a ton of grease drip from it. probably will never try them again... other than that, we picked up our order and the service was good.

I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas through door dash. What I received what 2 calzones. I called the restaurant and told them the situation and the person that answered the phone said they will replace the pizzas. My husband drove up to the store to return the calzones. Meanwhile, the restaurant called me stating after speaking to the general manager Dao, they will not honor the return. Pretty disappointed...I decided to try something other than my normal pizza place and I just dont understand the 5 star reviews. It wasnt the absolute worst thing Ive had but compared to the competition in the area the pizza here compares closest to a Pizza Hut than a mom/pop shop. We also ordered 4 dipping sauces. Two of which they sent us the wrong ones which isnt a real big deal but does show a lack of attention. Dont waste your time or money just go to Brooklyn Pizzeria in the Best Buy strip center at West Lake Houston Pkwy and 1960. They do it right and their sizes/prices are better.
