Great cove protected from the wind on 3 sides so its a great place for SUP (stand up paddleboard). Rent a paddleboard or kayak at the outpost adjacent to the park...or bring your own. You can launch at the walk in area or off the dock. Sometimes I launch right off the grass. There is a water trail if you want to adventure out of the cove too. Toilets: Portable restroom on site Dog-friendliness: I see people with dogs on the kayak, fishing boat, or paddleboard

Its a nice place to drop in. However it can be crowded on the weekends. Additionally there are no swimming and fishing warnings posted but people ignore them. Often the small ramp and dock are congested with both. If you dont have a board there is a rental place on site. If you enjoy bird watching while you paddleboard you wont be disappointed. Also the sunsets are pretty good.

A great place for paddle boarding. It s a restricted area of Lake Ray Hubbard, where motorized watercraft are not allowed so the water is always very calm. It is also a bird sanctuary. I would avoid it on holidays simply because it is a very small parking lot and fills up quickly. Also, outside of business hours for the paddleboard and kayak rental there are no restrooms available.

There are a few porta potties theres also no picnic tables but theres a nice big parking lot for cars.

This isnt a park for everyone but definitely a park for me. I am a kayak fisherman and this park has not boat ramps but canoe ramps and I found it to be really really really cool! It also has a bridge right there that blocks a lot of the wind for people learning how to paddle board and kayak as well as people who just want to paddle around without having to fight the wind. If youre a fisherman reading this the fishing there is terrible dont go there its a Dead Sea.

I ADORE paddle point! Its in the perfect position for you to launch and explore either side of the lake! If you are looking for stiller waters and a beautiful view, I recommend going under the old rusty Bridge! If youre looking for rougher water and a bigger open space go under the Miller bridge! The one this I hate about paddle point... is the people. I know that sounds terrible but these massive families come set up chairs and tents right off where youre supposed to load your boats and they let their small children play in the water on the boat launch. It is extremely frustrating and dangerous for their children. People like to set out chairs and smoke on the shore too which is inconvenient for absolutely everyone else around them. I wish there were WAY more parking spaces, but its first come first served, so I cant complain about it too much.
