I placed an order for pictures on May 16th. Ana called me on May 28th to point out an error in my order, which I appreciated. Little did I know what would happen next. The website allowed me to add items to my cart and continue shopping, so I did this for the convenience of one checkout since I have four kids. However, I later discovered that their site doesnt work that way; each order must be checked out individually, which was quite inconvenient. During my conversation with Ana, I thanked her for catching the mistake. I asked if she could also check the class photos since all my orders were from there. She mentioned that was a different departments responsibility and promised to investigate it and get back to me. Due to the weather, our call got disconnected before we could finish our conversation, and when I tried calling, the weather conditions prevented a successful connection. A few days later, I received pictures only to find out that all four kids had the same background in their photos. Hoping for a resolution, I visited their facility on June 12th. Upon my visit, I was informed that I would need to pay $10 for each background change I requested. When Ana approached me, I couldnt help but express my disappointment that she hadnt contacted me before sending the pictures, as the background was not what I had wanted. I mentioned that an executive decision had been made about the pictures I had paid for, and now I was being asked to pay again. To my surprise, it turned out that they had just sent the class picture on June7. This series of events left me feeling not just disappointed, but also frustrated. I left without receiving any assistance, only to discover at home that they had sent the wrong class picture. Upon calling and speaking to Jessica, I outlined the issue to her. She mentioned that if the teachers name had been correctly filled out on the order form, they wouldnt have made such a mistake. However, I explained that this was different from how things transpired. After some back-and-forth discussion, Jessica eventually said Ana would call me back. When Ana did call back, she acknowledged that the teachers name was, indeed, on the form but in their school system it showed a different teacher. She then informed me that it would take a few weeks before I could receive the corrected pictures. Dealing with this situation has left me feeling not just disappointed, but also drained. The background hasnt been updated ever since my children started attending this school. Limited background choices are available, and customer service is lacking. It seems like they take advantage of their monopoly in this area since they are the only provider for all the district school photos. Parents like us have no alternative but to buy pictures from this declining company. The photo is for reference. I kept pressing continue shopping and adding a different kids information thinking it was allowing me to order my kids photo altogether......

Im very disappointed!! My nephews graduation was held at the Reliant stadium last Friday 5-24-24 from Summer Creek High School CLASS Of 2024. It was one of the best moments with family and one in which I would like to remember forever! This company sells photos of the graduate receiving their diplomas, you know precious memories. Just imagine my outrage to find out this photography company ran out of film to capture this special moment!! By far this was one of the most priceless moments for my family. Shame on you! Might i remind you this was a class of over 800 students, you would like to think they would have had film by the caseload. Somehow the smart person taking the photographs ran out of film??Scott Tate Photography, what do you tell the parents? What do you tell the family members who wanted to have one of those precious photos? Lastly what do you tell the graduate? He will have a family of his own one day and it would of been great if he could have shown this to his children. This was his special day and you ruined it with not having his photo!!! When we called to inquire about this and how could this happen, you gave no feasible explanation only to say SORRY?? I like to say some other choice words about what you can do with your SORRY but that will not make my nephews photo reappear. Folks if you reading this and decide to do business with these unprofessional people make sure the camera has film and extra film!! Lastly id like to mention what about the other graduates after him that didnt get their photos? Un freakin believable!! Shame on you!! If I could give you a zero rating, I most definitely would, but this review will suffice.

i just received my daughter pictures from school and they look horrible the quality is horrible i would not buy them again i regret getting the pictures. scott tate photography needs to do a better job in the pictures.

Just received my sons school pics and they are HORRIBLE...its rather annoying that we shell out money for photos that we cant even preview before purchase and then they turn out awful. In my honest opinion, this companys quality of photographs has dwindled dramatically over the past few years. DO BETTER Scott-Tate!

I can t recommend Scott Tate enough, they ve been taking my child s photographs for years in partnership with the school. From the professionalism with the students, to the customer service when trying to get another photo reprinted they re dedication to their customers is second to none. Kudos to the staff and photographers for years of a job well done!

Impossible to reach anyone on the phone. Trying to see if I can preview my child picture before buying? I missed the letter. I don t know why the school doesn t use lifetouch anymore. UPDATE: got my child school picture and changing my review because I must say they turned out great! Probably one of the best school pics. So good in fact I m ordering more.

This organization is the worst choice any school go with. they dont provide proof of photos before your purchase. Parents are left buying blindly not knowing if they like the pictures. The prices compare to LifeTouch are double in price.. They do not offer the magnets, mugs,, key chains that LifeTouch offers.. SCHOOL DISTRICTS STOP USING THIS ORGANIZATION FOR SCHOOL PHOTOS!! If your childs school is using this organization for school photos email the principle immediately get other parents involved and CC the district secretary! STOP SCHOOL DISTRICTS FROM USING SCOTT-TATE PHOTOGRAPHY!

Only complaint with them is being limited on free sport team pictures for sponsorship plaques. We have a team of usually 150+ kids and am sure at least 50 of them order picture packages. Would be nice to be accommodated with the extra team pictures needed for our years of loyalty.

They are awesome! They accommodated my son who uses a wheelchair. The Studio did not have a ramp, but Mr. Tate himself help us by putting his portable ramp and assisting my son before/after the photo shoot. We had a great experience! He knows how to take great pictures of my 3yr old, too. I will post pictures once I receive them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

WORST, WORST, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT EVEN GIVEN THEM A 5 START! I order Pictures for all 3 of my Daughters It was special for my little one since it is her first year going to School. I got my oldest pictures but not my little ones, I called and called in regarding her pictures but no answer I email and it was responded a week later, Like really a week later I was told they were going to reprint and were going to be send out I waited and still nothing, I email them again and then I was told that after the request it takes a week to be reprint and send out and that I will get them before Thanks Giving, well Thanks Giving went bye and still nothing. All I wanted was my daughters pictures since it is her first year for her. I dont recommend them at all. I ask for a REFUND BACK. THEY DONT ANSWER PHONE CALLS AND EMAIL ARE ANSWER A WEEK LATER. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER THEY SUCK! PERIOD.

My sons school uses this company for their seasonal pictures and they have a great service and friendly staff. I had an issue with my sons name and they printed his picture and send it to me right away!

The photo quality was below average and dark. Maybe a little grainy. Prices were standard, but I prefer Lifetouch Portraits. Im glad that we went with a less expensive package. Ordinarily I would spend nearly $100 on a package. Something told me not to chance it with this particular company. Instead, I made an appointment with JCPENNEY.
