Do not eat here! We saw a German cockroach crawling across the floor. We asked for our check and the manager came to speak with us. He did not offer anything but an apology and said they do monthly pest control. So we paid for our food, barely touched, and left. We will never return.

I used to come here all the time until recent experiences with rude staff. The food has always been delicious, but it seems to be a difficult task to eat it because the staff/lady at front counter doesn t want to be bothered with customers. Perhaps she should find a job that s not in the service industry.

Excellent sushi spot & good ramen/japanese fare. I suggest ordering your tonkatsu spicy for an extra kick. They do a great job here. Staff is always friendly & quick. Facility is clean and modestly decorated. The food is prepared with care and comes out tasting/looking good. This is a quality take out place that I frequent and recommend.

On July 17, @7:20pwas visiting the area, walk Into the restaurant to place a to go order, and two ladies was at the counter, never offer to help me or asked if I had any questions regarding the to go menu or even asked if I was picking up a to-go order! They proceeded to sit one guest couple down while asking the gentleman that walk in as I was leaving how could they help him!

Went to Humble for a different reason but changed our lunch plans when we saw this place and decided to eat here. Had gyoza, salmon rolls, tonkotsu ramen, and spicy miso ramen. All the food was really good, except the spicy miso soup was very spicy even for me who likes spicy food. Also we like the temperature of the soup hotter. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The name Iekei, which we were intrigued by, means homestyle in Japanese but we are not sure if we were right. Glad we found this place.

This was our favorite ramen place to eat in the Humble area, until I ate a black (beats brand) earbud. I ate majority of the food and didnt realize there was a earbud in my food the whole time. Iam traumatized by this. I called the business, and the employee stated that only a portion of the bill can be refunded. Apparently the employee does not understand the severity of this matter. We will never eat here again.

So, I went to lunch with my coworkers and we decided to try this place. This place would ve had 3 sets of 5 stars up until I had my last bite. There was a piece of plastic (clear and gray) in my ramen. I told the waitress and she offered me 10% off or a replacement meal. I took the discount. Iekei ramen is my favorite ramen shop to go to. I make it a habit to stop off at the local Ramen/sushi joint wherever im at, but Iekei is the only one I keep coming back to. The staff are friendly, the service is quick and polite, and their food is top tier. I order the same thing everytime, tonkatsu Ramen and 3-4 pieces of sushi and not once have I been disappointed. The sushi is fresh and melts in your mouth, and the ramen is the right amount of savory with great angel hair noodles. If youre looking for a ramen shop to frequent, youve found it. Ill be back next week as always.

Had a taste for some ramen & this restaurant was in the area. I read some reviews before going & saw some that said it was better than Jinya (my favorite btw). Nice restaurant & waitress. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen & my mom got the Chicken Ramen. Overall, the taste wasn t there for me,(mom didn t like hers either), it was lacking a depth of flavor in the broth that I usually get from other ramen places. Generous amount of protein, however, the flavor wasn t there for me.

I have been going here since they first opened. Every dine in or to-go order experience has been wonderful. The ramen is amazing! Its perfectly seasoned, ready fast, and the perfect texture. They have NEVER gotten my order wrong! I have to ask them not to put green onion in my ramen because I have reflux and they always accomodate me. The sushi is delicious too! They have a wide variety of choices, from your standard California Roll to unique rolls like their Humble Roll. They even have a Britney Roll. (Ive already forgiven them for the spelling. *wink*) The service is awesome. Everyone who works there is so kind, even when they are crazy busy! My husband and I love this place so much. I hope they will be here for a very long time.

I dont live in Houston, but after the first time I came here about a year ago Ive wanted to come again. The takoyaki and the pork buns are delicious, for Ramen Ive tried the spicy Korean seafood Ramen and the spicy soshu Ramen, every time its tasty. I only recommend Thai place for take out only. Food is solid for sure. If ur trying to dine in then good luck. We went in fro dine in first time and we got water. We got our menus and were ready for appetizers, we waited and the server walked by attended other tables, then after a few mins walked by again and didn t even look at us. The other server saw us then proceeded to watch the lakers play off game. We waited and she was eating sushi. At this point I was just quiet and patient. The server then went to the register to ring someone else up and at this point we left. Again food is great but I wouldn t recommend dine in. Maybe we ll try again in the future but I doubt it. Good food, nice staff. We started with the crab rangoons since these are my son s favorite. They were rather large which is great so you can get your money s worth. The sushi was amazing and we will definitely be returning to the different ones. The Britney sushi was my favorite (that would be the blonde one my my photos). The location is very close to my home, so very convenient and staff was so friendly, but the reason they didn t get a 5, was due to the ramen. The ramen was definitely not my favorite. It tasted fine, but it was missing something, not good flavoring. Overall nice experience but would not recommend the ramen.

The food was amazing, we feel like its a little gem in our area-anf so awesome not to have to drive into town to get good ramen options. We liked it better than our regular places in town. (Update Down below) Okay so I ordered immediately got salmon sashimi and a curry ramen, waited over 30 mins for the ramen, and in the meantime I clearly asked the waitress if due to the inconvenience of time could I get the cheapest app. On the menu which was cucumbers for free I was clear on that because that s the least they could do. Because the ramen was taking so long, I was served the cucumbers and the ramen at the same time, the ramen is to come with a side of fried chicken . Was that there when presented the ramen? No .. I tasted the said Curry ramen. No color and no flavor. Not spicy at all. I set aside and communicated to the waitress that it was unsatisfactory. And instead of completely wasting my time and not getting anything for dinner I ordered a different ramen in hopes to have a better experience with the establishment. She offered me to still get the friend chicken with the new ramen. I said yea I suppose that s fine, I wait another 15/20 mins for the new ramen to be ready. Then I go to check out and the simple $3.95 cucumbers that I asked for free In apology of the wait and elongated time to receive any main course food was still being charged, it s the principle and customer service I was looking for not the free food. I communicate it with the host and she was dumbfounded and was like well you got served the cucumber right and I elaborated what and why they were even ordered and the waitress comes along and acted suddenly confused. I still rang up but I feel that the customer service was definitely lacking in the communication department and understanding of what the customer wanted . And the cherry on top, the whole duration of my stay. I watched a couple sit down, order, the same curry, and get served with everything (included the fried chicken) still before I even checked out, so why did I wait so long??? The charge was inaccurate and I will be disputing because this is was not right I also wasn t interested in causing a scene so I m patiently waiting outside to go back inside and return the ramen given to me . People need to understand that service establishment need actual good service UPDATE: got home! The replacement ramen they gave me! SAME RAMEN no flavor very bland and I ll definitely not be ordering or going to this establishment again.

Incredible ramen and sushi. We got takoyaki, tonkotsu ramen, and a roll of salmon sushi for under $30. Very fair prices for really delicious food and fantastic service. Save this place on your maps, you wont regret it.

This is one of my favorite places around. Some of the best Ramen Ive ever had. Always hot and fresh and good size portions. Highly recommend the tuna carpaccio, spicy miso Ramen and crab Rangoons

Nice place easily passible if your not looking for it. Food was good. The black garlic broth was delicious its good enough to drink by itself! the noodles were kinda lacking... I cant explain it but Ive had better noodles. Sushi was good, the tempura and eel were tasty. This is a place I can come back too. Servers and host were nice!! I got my order togo. The parking lot and inside are kinda small. The wait time wasnt long.

My husband came here first and raved about the food, so we came back the next week as a family, and we were not disappointed! Cant say enough about the quality of the food. Everything we ordered from appetizers to sushi to the ramen was fantastic! The broth in my ramen was exquisite. I could drink gallons of it. Its a cute little spot, very reminiscent of a ramen house in Japan. And our server, Diana, was great. I cant wait to go back!

Outside looks newish and in good shape. The inside is another story. Majority of the menus have worn pages and torn seems. The business smells like onions coming in. One customer was complaining about lukewarm ramen. Decided to go to the facilities and you could tell they haven t addresses the bathrooms in days. I didn t even bother to eat anything.
