I gave three stars because the food isn t exactly top notch, but if you like to incessantly stuff yourself until it s shameful, good place. The SERVICE is great though. All the waiters n waitresses are just great. The only thing I m gonna say that is that there s lots of kids running around and the parents don t tend to supervise them most of the time. It s kind kind of chaotic because of the parents not taking proper supervision of their children. But the staff is just wonderful.

9.14.24 Always fresh & a great selection of items. Packed on Saturday. 12.16.24 FATHERS DAY- Busy, but not overcrowded. At 12:45 p.m., there was not a wait. Food was excellent and fresh. Exactly like Thanksgiving, except no turkey or pumpkin pie! 12.25.22 CLOSED 2022 Thanksgiving Day-we got there at about 11:00 a.m., everything flowed smoothly- from checking out, to getting seated, to eating, etc. Food was excellent! All the fixings- ham, turkey on the bone, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes (best Ive ever had) dressing, gravy, rolls + dessert (4 desserts that are sugar free). on and on! Lori (Im guessing a manager) has been there the last 3 years we have gone on Thanksgiving Day. She does a great job! very friendly, just above the normal! CANT BEAT IT FOR $16.99. Started getting really crowded at 1:00 p.m. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! 2021 Great went on Thanksgiving the food was great best mashed potatoes Ive ever had best chocolate pie my mom ever had. Chocolate fountain thats fabulous! had a chef carving the turkey and cooking steaks. very well organized. definitely an A+ for this day! ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. The health department needs to come to this place and check everything before people get sick. I spent approximately $15 including tax yesterday for lunch and I almost thought that I was going to throw up. EVERYTHING was either just heated up (possibly microwave) or appears to be store bought especially the desserts. I havent been to Golden Corral in about 10 years BUT I wanted to give this one a try due to the proximity of my location on yesterday. When the famous hot rolls were brought out, they were actually not hot. I remember when you put that butter on the hot bread, it used to melt and be so good. Bourbon chicken was trash. As for the fried chicken, they only had legs and thighs (the cheaper /parts of the chicken/ lower quality). Breasts and wings are more expensive so they did not have that. They still had breakfast out for half of the southern food station eventhough it was afternoon. If I wanted breakfast I could have went to Ihop, Shoneys, or McDonalds. Again a cheaper way to fill up the bar and take money. The carrot and raisin slaw had so much mayonaise in it that I actually spat it out. Lastly, someone needs to tell the waitresses to stop wearing gloves. This is cross contamination. If they pick up someones dirty plate and put it in the trash while touching the excess food and then come and hand you the spoon, the microorganisms/germs are then going where? Your mouth! One more thing, as for the fish, it is labeled Fish so you DO NOT know if it is catfish, trout, or the cheap quality Vietnam Swai fish which I am 99% sure thats what it is. Beware.

5 stars for Mr. Steve! He was on point all night. We were a party of 7. Not once were our glasses empty nor our table full of dirty plates. We could only give him a tip. It took forever to get a refill (we only needed 1) the staff ignores you as they walk by have to ask them to stop 3 times, the quality of food was so low it tasted like dry aged food, I also asked for well done on the steak and the guy gave me medium raw, blood pouring out. I could only feed my dog. I could only cut the edges and try to eat that. All the other food was inedible, I took maybe 1 bite of the other items I tried and they all tasted like they had been sitting for hours. To top it off they removed the ice cream machine and didn t tell anyone before paying. That should be mentioned beforehand along with mentioning the difference in options for food. I will be requesting a refund, there seemed to be no management on duty to even offer that and when I asked about the ice cream the guy just goes people were messing with it too much so we took it off. You would think they d mention a key portion of their buffet is missing because they didn t want to deal with their customers.

The truth is that I have been to other golden corrals and the food is good in this one from 1960. The rice was beaten, the ham was dry and very salty, the oranges did not even bother to remove the store label, the gelatin was so watery that it was barely You could grab the mashed potatoes, they didnt have the consistency of mashed potatoes, the sauce was very dry, the plates I had to put them on the trays because they didnt bother to remove them, time to stop and ask for more coffee, and the place was almost empty compared to other restaurants that I have been to, in my personal point of view it was the first and last time I would go and in fact I would never recommend it, I told my enemy esmas I will tell my friends my bad experience so that they do not have a bad time like my husband and me

I drove 30 minutes to come here only for the food to be disgusting. The bourbon chicken was dry and nasty and had huge chunks stuck together. There was no options! I recently visited the Golden Corral on 290 and they had a wide selection of food. They had fajitas, 2 different salsas, pozole, different type of potatoes, fish, fried rice, Spanish rice. I was very disappointed in the low quality of food and lack of options at this location and when I ask for management she never came. Oh, and ice cream machine was also broke.

Came to enjoy a great late lunch early dinner and was very pleased in the food quality and the service we received from our waiter Tony is was very spot on greeted with a smile had our drinks right and kept our table free of extra plates. He was very attentive to his entire station. Very hard worker. The fried fish is soo good it has a light buttery taste that just melts in your mouth. that salad bar is to die for everything for a healthy, loaded salad, which is what I like. Just an overall good time. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp up to the front door and open seating in case you need to have chairs replaced by wheelchairs

This is hands down the nicest Golden Corral Ive ever visited. It felt like upscale dining. The staff was courteous and attentive. The steak was cooked a perfect rare. Top notch cleanliness, and even the bathrooms were nice. 10/10 would come again. It was a bit warm in there, but the rest of the experience made up for it.

This beats all bad reviews I read. We went here a couple days ago. Just wanted some old-fashioned American Cuisine. We paid--you know theres a problem when you pay AHEAD of getting your food, then discovered this: Salad bar section: fresh mushrooms were cut up and placed in unwashed with potting soil in them. Lemons in the same line were spoiled and turning dark. Got a small plate of the burboun chicken and okra and some cabbage. Okra dish had multiple stems in it that I couldnt see, but were obvious because it chewed like wood. I didnt see that the cabbage was already spoiling before they cooked it--edges were black. I cut off and ate what I could. To top all that, a german cockroach was crawling on the wall of my booth toward the table! Oh my gosh! Really?! I got up and told my husband I was leaving. He summoned employees to notify them. They did not call over the manager. Did not apologize, did not offer any type of customer service and/or empathathy, nor pride of workmanship. NEVER, Never again will we step into this restaraunt. Third world and this place seriously needs a health and safety inspection. Should be shut down!

Today my family and I went to this location, when we were leaving there was an able bodied couple with three small child with a medium size hair dog in the restaurant. I asked the two people a Hispanic male and an Hispanic women do you allow animals in the restaurant? She responded yes we do its a service dog and I said no service did thats a hairy puppy eating off the floor. Then she said well she paid for the dog, I said that horrible so the couple picked the dog up instead of letting it walk on its leash then they proceeded to their table. The disrespect alone was from the chick at the counter was enough from me, so I called the location and asked for the manager named given was Sasha he stated. Voiced my concerns on the dog being in the restaurant she also stated this was an individual owned franchise. while I was talking she bursted out giving me the email to the store again more rudeness. The photos taken will be sent to them and cameras dont lie. The uncleaniness of the place matches the establishment explains a lot now, had to clean our own table upon arrival and they allow dogs in the facility. Our world is trash these days sad to say. To the owner: the dog was a puppy. And the law says no dogs shall be in the interior of the restaurant but not limited to a patio OUTSIDE which you dont have. Im no activist, just a citizen that does not agree with your lack of respect for others. And lack cleanliness of a business that serves food. No worries about anyone I know contributing to your establishment, ever.

Ive been there for lunch and the food was fresh and tasty but we went for dinner and yuck, the food seemed old, like it was leftover from lunch. The corn was turning brown, the carrots were so overcooked, they were shriveled up. My baked potato was so overcooked, it was brown inside as well. Fried and baked chicken were dried out. And what happened to the bourbon street chicken, used to be a favorite but it looked like it was schredded up and dried out, i didnt even try it. The salad seemed fresh but most the food out was not. We went around 6pm so you would think everything would have been freshly cooked. I did enjoy the fried shrimp and the sliced ham, those did seem fresh and not dried out.

I have not had buffet style eating since post Covid and this was a pleasant surprise. My dad is a Super peaky eater so rather than sitting down at a regular restaurant having him turn food away for all sorts of reasons, I took him here where there is a variety. First let me say we ve been to this location before, but I ve never seen it as clean and although they were busy they were on top of their task, they were vacuuming in between cleaning up napkins on the floor etc I was especially surprise and happy to see that the plates were off in its own section and they were gloves to hold the utensils. That did it for me. The one complaint I had Was the silverware was dirty, dried up food on them. My Suggestion is to have someone eyeball the cleaned utensils before packaging them please! We simply asked for plastic utensils and that solved that issue for us. Other than that. Everything else was good.

Manager demanded that I pay a 15% tip at the register prior even being seated. The food was good. But, a waitress unassigned to my table had to clear plates and refill drinks. I arrived at 11am expecting to see fresh food instead what I found was food that looked like it was left over from the day before dries up and a lot of ot was cold. The hottest items were the fries chicken and cobbler. Even the carrying station food was cold

Steaks are delicious, fried fish is good....they need to check the carrot salad & broccoli salad more often...they tasted like from the day before....very nice people attending tables.

I must say that Golden Corral is going downhill. Their food seems to be bland, and their service just lacks. The manager was on the floor helping, but still, the food is just lacking.

Selection was fantastic. Food was fresh. Steaks were tender and amazingly seasoned. Dessert bar was delicious. Fresh, healthy salad bar with all the sides. Nice selections of proteins, great taco bar, and the service was top notch. 10/10 recommend, especially for large families. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian and vegan options. Dietary restrictions: They have jeto-friendky, dairy free, and gluten free options. Parking: Plenty of free parking, even in busy days.

Its Okay. The staff is great. But the cleanliness of this place is terrible. When I saw the roach on the salad bar. I was done. That was my last time coming here. Tried to get a picture the staff hurried up and wiped off the counter.

Me and my Asian family visited alot of times in the weekend of Saturday and we are always served by this nice server that recognizes our family and is always kind to us and other customers i highly recommended this Golden Corral not because of the good food but more importantly the good service that we achieve

Update 3/28/24 : I no longer blame management for the disgusting food quality. Apparently the owner approved of, and probably tells them to serve old food. The comment in response to my review was just an attempt to pretend they will fix this situation. The owner is rude and showed no interest in correcting the quality of the food. My original email was cordial, but I did get angry when it received no reply. He then called me hostile when I called him out for not responding to my initial email AT ALL! And told me my attitude was a bit much. Judging from other reviews here and on Yelp, it appears it is common practice for them to serve OLD FOOD! They have no pride in their business. They only care about making as much money as they can. Trying to work with me would have started with an apology for the experience and trying to correct it! Im not wasting MY money there any more! The health department needs to pay a surprise visit! He doesnt understand why you may get angry about being charged to eat food that should be in the TRASH!! There is NO WAY that food is made fresh when its that disgusting at 11 am! I tried to be nice and notify them through several surveys before this post, but they dont care. I expect to get edible food for my hard earned money, and if I dine out, I expect to enjoy it! I told the owner if he said they were correcting it, I would try again and if it was better, I would change my review. His response to that was not to come back, so that shows he intends to keep serving cold, dried out, leftovers ! Thats why he gets hostile when you call it out. Hes not professional at all ! If you go once and the food is gross, its not a fluke. The management seems to have changed a while back. They used to have good food, but now its a rip off! Ive taken their survey several times, but they dont care. The food now is cold and dried out. Its obviously left overs from the night before. Brown lettuce, brown corn, dried out dumplings and mashed potatoes. The food looks and tastes NASTY, and they want to charge over $30 for 2 people?!
